good program but bad help

Pros

For my clinic, this program handles nearly every task I require from clinic software. There's still little missing, apart from tracking and managing batch numbers for herbal products.

Cons

When it functions, I'm really pleased. However, when it fails I'm left dealing with a terribly designed chatbot that essentially turns me into the tech support person. It happily guides me through gathering screenshots, app versions and error messages, then prompts me to email all that information after I've done the legwork, not before, as if running a clinic doesn't already eat up my time. Afterwards I wait an hour or two before any human help appears, only for that person to walk me through the identical troubleshooting steps the bot made me do. Despite repeating everything, nothing improves and I carry on because my business depends on keeping things moving, until suddenly the problem resolves on its own. Support will then insist they didn't change anything, implying the issue was imagined. Yet my browser's error logs, which I had no idea existed until I became Zanda's troubleshooting proxy with zero compensation, show a fault that a quick Google search makes clear is on the developer's side, not my machine. It feels frustrating to be charged with diagnosing faults for free while company avoids responsibility and leaves me to manage the fallout and it wastes clinic time and patient trust.

made for my type of work

Pros

As an allied health professional, I really like that it's built specifically for our field. It packs a broad set of tools , integrated telehealth, SMS reminders, customizable forms and note templates, plus online bookings and a client portal which covers most of what I need day-to-day.

Cons

One thing I wish is that phone support were offered rather than being limited to email or chat , yes, you can schedule a phone session but available slots are often booked weeks ahead, so that's not practical for urgent problems. I'd also really like the client portal to include more functionality, for example the ability to share documents directly with clients.

very easy and great value

Pros

It has been surprisingly easy to use, cost-effective and interactive, exceeding every expectation I had about it.

Cons

Honestly, what isn't there to like? The best part for me has been the AI-generated note-taking feature, I never imagined that would exist, so I was completely surprised when it showed up.

confusing and hard to use

Pros

What I appreciate is that it's a consolidated system where I can manage almost everything related to bookings and communications from one place.

Cons

it isn't interactive. There isn't a simple method for completing tasks in the app , many actions can be done in multiple, overlapping ways which ends up being pretty confusing.

very easy to learn

Pros

I really like is how simple it is to accomplish anything on this platform.

Cons

works on my phone

Pros

I can run the app on my phone and quickly get to all of my different profiles whenever I need them.

Cons

some parts of using the app are confusing and I find it isn't as smooth as other similar apps I've relied on in the past.

perfect for my business

Pros

For my business this program has been a perfect fit , it's very user-friendly and plays nicely with the other tools I use. I've discovered a ton of useful features that simplify daily tasks. The templates are simple to customize and I can merge client-specific fields directly into my emails which saves loads of time. While I was onboarding, whenever I had questions the in-app chat or the knowledge base always gave me clear answers. One feature I really appreciate is the client portal because it makes booking appointments simple for customers. Also, when I send forms they automatically attach to my clients' Zanda file as soon as they're completed, so I don't have to waste time filing anything manually.

Cons

I wasn't aware that it charges fees for sending text messages before I signed up and I wish that information had been made clearer up front so I could have factored those costs into my decision.

helps me plan client meetings

Pros

Using this tool has made it possible for me to manage and schedule my meetings with clients much more effectively.

Cons

I don't have many complaints but after using both desktop and mobile apps I feel the mobile app is missing a lot of the great features that could and should be improved.

mostly easy with small issues

Pros

The interface feels interactive and very easy to use. By scrolling down I can pull up my progress notes from earlier consultations and get a quick overview. Drafts autosave automatically, which gives me peace of mind. My phone calendar syncs with the system so I can view multiple calendars at once. Building customised templates with autofill fields is simple. It also connects with SMS, email and Telehealth.

Cons

The calendar sync can be slow, so changes to bookings don't always show up straight away. I've lost work because letter and report templates don't autosave reliably. Attaching documents to emails can be fiddly and sometimes doesn't behave as expected. Also, practitioner permissions are limited and I can't edit my roster when I need to.

Great for scheduling and payments

Pros

the scheduling features are solid and I appreciate being able to pull up patient notes and billing straight from the calendar. Once I entered a client's credit card details, using Stripe made processing payments very simple.

Cons

I wish it automatically sent email messages and intake forms to new clients.

cuts my work in half

Pros

Using P.D. has cut down my workload significantly, and at a glance I can tell whether clients plan to attend, I can also easily pull up their past attendance when asked. I'm able to block out downtime for myself and teammates. It prevents double bookings. Overall, P.D. alignes my office work and really saves my staff time.

Cons

I don't have enough time right now to take full advantage of all the features P.D. offers.

packed with helpful tools

Pros

One of the things I really appreciate is how many features PowerDiary packs in and that I can handle EVERYONE from a single place. The platform lets me book and manage appointments, send automated messages, build assessments and templates, jot down my notes, keep track of who has paid and who still owes me, run video appointments and a whole lot more. What stands out is that PowerDiary actively listens to feedback, unlike many other providers, they don't just promise improvements , they roll them out and then notify users about what's changed. If I'm ever unsure about something, I can jump into a live chat for immediate help or book a one-on-one session with someone to walk me through it.

Cons

Every so often I get tripped up trying to work through third-party bulk payments and how to use that part of the system, but a quick refresher usually brings me back up to speed and gets me where I need to be.

fast notes & great support

Pros

I've found clinical notes are fast to create and I can build templates to cut down on administrative time. There are plenty of extra tools available like invoicing and custom email options,and the customer service and support team have been absolutely excellent!

Cons

While I think the software is solid overall, I haven't been able to adopt it for writing reports because it doesn't meet my specific needs yet.

Pros

Being able to manage everything from a single platform has really helped me stay organized and keep on top of tasks that would otherwise feel overwhelming when running a business.

Cons

I'd like the option to create invoices one by one that align with my accounting setup and it would be great if I could accept payments through Square. Also, when I switch between windows, I want the client view to shrink (similar to a zoomed-out thumbnail).

a modern and refreshing change

Pros

the choices we had for clinical software and appointment scheduling were shockingly bad , lots of outdated, clunky programs floating around. When we found Power Diary it felt refreshingly contemporary: sleek, fast and really interactive and honestly our practice would struggle without it now. Whenever we're unsure about something someone is available to chat almost instantly, usually in under two minutes which is so uncommon. You usually just get an automated reply elsewhere. The Power Diary product and the whole onboarding team who helped us get set up were fantastic.

Cons

I find that the SMS charges can really build up once we send reminders to all our patients.

Simple and professional

Pros

I am impressed by the clean user interface , it's simple to use, packed with genuinely helpful features, feels like professional-grade software to rely on and the online booking process is smooth and well designed.

Cons

umm i feel like there are a couple of things I wish it supported, it doesn't connect with Square for handling payments and only offers Stripe, which limits my options and it also fails to sync with Apple iCal, which would be very handy.
