“positive experience!”
Pros
From day one, this has been a really positive addition to our practice. We're on the Grow package and it has genuinely made a big difference in how we operate. The automated texts, reminders and billing tools have made our workflow much more efficient. Patients automatically get payment requests which helps keep everything organized and running without extra effort from our team. It also integrates perfectly with Eaglesoft so scheduling, billing and the rest of our daily processes feel convenient. The digital forms have been especially valuable, particularly the review and update feature. Patients really appreciate being able to update the information they already have on file instead of completing brand-new forms every year. With our previous system, they had to start from a blank form annually and that was something they regularly complained about. Online scheduling has also been a big win since patients can book appointments whenever it works for them which adds a lot of convenience. On top of that, we've been very happy with the VOIP phone system. The call quality is excellent on both the desk phones and the mobile app and the available features make handling calls and communication much easier.
Cons
Overall, our experience has been very positive but if there's one thing we'd like to see improved, it's call transcription. It would be really helpful if a basic feature like that were included in the Grow package instead of requiring an upgrade. We'd also love to see voicemail transcription added down the road since it would make communication and follow-up even better.

“communication platform”
Pros
Having one company and one platform handle everything we used to spread across several vendors has been a huge plus. Support has also consistently been quick and excellent whenever we've needed help.
Cons
One thing we'd still love to see is more flexibility for sharing patient reviews on social media and similar channels in the future.

“task accountability”
Pros
Automated and user-created tasks are something we couldn't do without now. They've replaced the sticky notes all over the office and added a real sense of accountability. Customer service has also been quick to respond and consistently helpful.
Cons
There really aren't any major downsides. The integrations aren't flawless but the team is clearly continuing to improve them.

“paperless workflow”
Pros
Switching our office to a paperless setup has been a huge benefit and we've been able to tailor all of the forms to fit our practice and our patients' specific needs. The online support has also been incredibly impressive. They respond quickly and take the time to carefully walk through every step needed to solve an issue. I've never felt hurried during a support session or left unsure about what I needed to do next. Their customer support is truly top-notch and honestly deserves some kind of award.
Cons
Even with all the advantages of going paperless, a few parts of the workflow still don't feel fully convenient. At times, new patient forms are not being sent automatically after an appointment is scheduled or patients receive them but can't open the forms properly.

“automated payments”
Pros
Whenever a patient has an outstanding balance, they receive a text with a link to pay online and the payment automatically posts to their Dentrix ledger. You can also customize how paperwork is sent and once it's completed, it goes straight into the patient chart so there's no need to scan anything in.
Cons
Honestly, nothing comes to mind. They've made the whole process much more convenient.

“efficient office flow”
Pros
It's been fantastic to use and has really helped speed up the workflow around the office. There's also a huge amount of information available and it's all quick to access when needed.
Cons
Insurance verification is very convenient, checking monthly numbers is simple, communicating with patients is quick and sending treatment consent forms is hassle-free. Customer support also gets back to us very fast.

“packed with features”
Pros
Everything we need is in one place, patient communication, analytics, call tracking, recall management, forms, the phone system and more. We get a ton of value out of it. Compared with other software we've used, where maybe one thing like analytics or patient messaging worked well but the rest fell short, this one delivers across the board. Another big plus is the support team, they're excellent and they're also quick to roll out requested features. Not instantly, of course but they're always improving the software and adding updates that make day-to-day use better for users. We rely on it all day during work and I even use the app from home which is incredibly convenient. I really can't recommend it highly enough. If I could, I'd honestly rate it 11/10.
Cons
There honestly aren't many negatives I can point to. The only thing that's a bit frustrating is that the phone AI features cost extra instead of being included with the voice feature.

“communication tools win”
Pros
One of the biggest benefits for me has been the communication built into it. I can quickly pick up the phone and see who is calling, track how many incoming and outgoing calls have happened, view texts and replies and even send payment requests. We recently began using the electronic consents and forms and the move away from paper has felt completely convenient. The newer option to filter text messages by unread is also really helpful. Another plus is being able to log in from home, check the day's schedule and message patients when needed. The appointment confirmation campaigns are also very simple to use and just as simple to update when changes are needed.
Cons
A few improvements would make it even better especially having more flexibility when editing consent forms and a more aligned treatment plan setup that includes insurance estimates.

“patient engagement hub”
Pros
This platform does a great job of helping us communicate with patients efficiently while also keeping an eye on practice performance. The monthly cost feels fair considering the range of services and features that come with it.
Cons
It would be even better with more follow-up after onboarding or if training materials for learning the platform were made easier to access.

“analytics and support are great!”
Pros
One thing that really stands out is how responsive the customer support team is and the software keeps getting updated to better match what clients actually need. It goes far beyond detailed analytics for dental offices, including phone call tracking which is what they're best known for. On top of that, it includes review requests, automated reminders, campaigns for different needs, online payment options and even works as a communication tool within the office. We've tried several other support platforms but this one has been the strongest overall especially because none of the others offered the same level of data analysis.
Cons
A few features are definitely less simple than others and it takes a fair amount of time and effort to really get the most out of everything it can do.

“patient texting success”
Pros
From day one, our team has absolutely loved using it. The software is incredibly user-friendly and the level of ease it offers really stands out across the whole office. The analytics we get through its Open Dental integration have been a total game changer, giving us clear, useful insights that help us make real improvements in our practice. Another feature we really enjoy is the two-way texting with patients which has made a big difference in our recall system and helped us generate more than 65 Google reviews over the last year. We'd choose it over competing options any time.
Cons
Honestly, our office hasn't run into any downsides with it.

“custom messaging access”
Pros
After trying several similar products, this one has gone well beyond what the others provided. It lets me review numbers with the practice owner and the rest of our team and I can also log in from home on a snow day to stay in touch with patients. I'm able to build my own customizable emails and target exactly which patients should receive them or send them to everyone if needed. There are also a ton of useful features built into the text messaging tools, the list honestly goes on. I would absolutely recommend it.
Cons
Our practice includes a sedation component so we need some extra details and an additional medical history. The biggest challenge has been that once a medical history is completed, we don't get any kind of alert. Even though that has been frustrating, it does seem like they are actively working on making that process better for our team and I really appreciate that. I've shared a few suggestions for improving the system and some of them have already been implemented. That ongoing effort to improve means a lot.

“communication made easy”
Pros
Having team messaging, patient communication, analytics and forms all built into one platform has made day-to-day work so much more manageable for me. The support team has been excellent and I really appreciate that they continue to improve and innovate the software. I can honestly see myself staying with them long term.
Cons

“simplified outreach”
Pros
Keeping up with recare outreach is much less work now since it handles a lot of the patient contact for us. The forms feature has also been really helpful and it makes early check-in feel almost effortless.
Cons
Dashboards are still a bit confusing at times and getting a live person from support can be difficult because they seem understaffed. Instead of directly answering questions, they usually send over how-to articles and those can be pretty tough to follow sometimes.

“real-time insights”
Pros
Having real-time visibility into key performance metrics has significantly changed the way we manage our practice. The platform gives us detailed production reporting and patient engagement tracking through a dashboard that feels simple and keeps everyone on the team aligned and focused. We also really value the automation tools, reminders, re-care monitoring and follow-up alerts make a big difference in helping us stay on top of everything so nothing gets missed.
Cons
At the beginning some of the reporting features felt a little overwhelming simply because there's so much data available. It takes some time to understand which reports are the most useful for each team member. A more tailored onboarding experience would have made it easier for us to learn the system faster.

“team-saving automation”
Pros
Running a busy pediatrics office has gotten a lot more manageable because of the automation built into this system. A huge number of tasks we used to handle manually are now taken care of automatically, from sending and following up on new patient forms to delivering confirmation texts exactly when we need them. It also updates patient records in our PMS as parents submit forms and sends overdue routine care reminders, plus plenty more. Our Customer Success Manager has also been very supportive and helped us get everything configured the way we need it. We are still ironing out a few kinks but they really seem committed to making the system work well for us.
Cons
There are a few minor limitations with the system although I think a lot of that comes from the fact that we use our PMS in a nonstandard way so it does not fully match the usual integration setup. Online scheduling has been one challenge because we cannot completely block certain patients from booking and it sometimes creates a new chart which has led to some problems. That said, they do have a Customer Ideas site where users can submit requests and suggestions and I regularly see their development team responding there and posting updates when items have been added to the development queue.

“growth dashboards”
Pros
Having this in our workflow has made a huge difference. It's helped us clearly visualize our goals, keep an eye on team performance and spot opportunities for improvement. The dashboards are well organized, the data is easy to understand and it's become something we rely on every day. The way it supports patient retention and production tracking is especially valuable because it removes the guesswork and shows us exactly where we stand on a daily basis.
Cons
Getting started does take a little time especially when it comes to finding your way through some of the more detailed reports. Once everything starts to click though, it becomes much more manageable.

“Useful tool”
Pros
One thing that helps a lot is that most of the numbers are calculated automatically which saves me time and cuts down on a lot of stress.
Cons
At the same time, the software can feel pretty overwhelming because there are too many options packed onto one page. Not all of the information is accurate either which makes it hard to fully trust the data being pulled from Dentrix. Things do not always match up consistently and that gets frustrating.

Pros
