Time saver

Pros

I really like being able to carry over information from earlier notes instead of starting everything from scratch each time. It saves a lot of typing and keeps details consistent from session to session.

Cons

One thing that slows me down is having to go to a different area to upload documents instead of just adding them directly inside the person's profile. It would feel more natural to keep everything connected to the individual record in one place.

Saves me a lot of time

Pros

For me, the biggest advantage has been how much time it cuts when filing claims. Saving time matters a lot in my workflow and this system has helped make those processes quicker for me.

Cons

My experience moving bank accounts over gave me extra work I didn't expect. I kept wishing there was a simpler process for that part because it took more time than I wanted to spend on it.

Intuitive navigation and manageable daily charting

Pros

I can sign in and move around the system without feeling lost. I don't have to overthink where things are and that makes daily charting feel more manageable.

Cons

I'd really like an option to filter and download monthly visit totals. That would help with planning, reporting and tracking trends more efficiently.

simple to work with

Pros

Found it simple enough to work with and I use tools like pull?forward often. Those features help keep my documentation process moving without slowing me down.

Cons

Would've been great if the pull?forward feature worked for single items instead of whole sections like being able to carry over individual therapy goals. Also, our billing team has trouble processing multiple services done on the same day and they have to rely on another system to complete that part.

Pros

I liked how it didn't take long to schedule appointments and get my notes written. The process just fits naturally into my workflow without adding extra steps.

Cons

I'm not a fan of how often the pricing goes up. It's becoming harder to justify the cost, especially when budgeting for longer periods.

Easy to understand

Pros

When I was completing my fieldwork for my program, I found it easy learn. Accessing what I needed didn't feel confusing while I was still learning.

Cons

When I first started, writing notes felt confusing because I didn't realize how scheduling affected the workflow. Once I figured out how those two pieces connected, everything made more sense and working in the system became smoother.

Ideal for pediatric work

Pros

I appreciate that it's designed with pediatric work in mind. Another thing that stands out is the support team. There was a period where things weren't as smooth but lately they've been very responsive and helpful again.

Cons

I'm not sure I love the idea of having to browse through user?submitted suggestions and vote on them. I would rather see the development team review needs on their own and determine what updates to prioritize instead of relying on busy users to sort through ideas.

Better interface than other platforms

Pros

Feels comfortable working in it because the layout doesn't feel heavy or overwhelming. Some other systems I've used are visually cluttered but this one feels clearer and easier on my eyes while I'm charting.

Cons

So far, I honestly haven't noticed any real drawbacks while working in Fusion. It has handled what I needed without causing issues.

pre-built goals save time

Pros

Goals are already available for me to choose from so I'm not spending extra time rewriting the same thing over and over. It reduces repetitive work.

Cons

Haven't had anything negative to say about Fusion at this point in my use of it. It's been stable for what I need to do.

Makes everything easy

Pros

I like how easy it is to adjust schedules, message patients directly, organize documents into groups and get reminders for notes. It keeps different pieces of my workflow in one place.

Cons

I struggle when I want to remove certain automated reminders because not every patient needs the same notifications. It would help if I could simply turn off specific ones without affecting others.

Pros

I use the pull?forward option often because it lets me keep my personal writing style while still maintaining consistency with clinic expectations and documentation standards.

Cons

Updating goals takes more steps than I expected and as someone who does evaluations, that slows down my workflow. I would appreciate a quicker way to edit them.

Lets me view everyone's schedule

Pros

Appreciate being able to see the schedules for everyone. I also like that I can quickly access scanned files and evaluation documents in one spot when I need them.

Cons

Don't like having to write a daily note for every evaluation, re?evaluation and progress note. It adds extra writing time and can make documentation feel heavier than it needs to be.

It's convenient to log in from home. It helps me plan ahead and feel prepared before walking into the clinic.

Cons

Avoid it if you're a small operation

Pros

It worked fairly well for billing and documentation overall. I did have to customize certain parts myself to make it fit how my clinic runs but it functioned well enough. My only real frustration came after Therapy Brands took control since it didn't feel like the same product after that.

Cons

My recommendation would be to avoid this software if you're a solo clinician or a smaller practice. Many features come with extra fees which adds up quickly. Customer support often responds slowly and I had a situation where intake forms I paid extra for weren't sending correctly to families. Support told me to simply resend them and then closed the ticket without truly addressing the issue or offering any compensation. What made it worse is finding out later that our contract renews automatically for another full year unless written notice is given far in advance. We were only a bit short on that timeline and now they are claiming we owe payment for another entire year, which feels unfair and frustrating.

Accessible from anywhere

Pros

Having access to the program anywhere has been a big help for me. I don't feel tied to one location or device and it's easier to get notes done when I have a busy day.

Cons

Every now and then the screen shows the wrong client after I click so I have to go back and fix it before moving on. It doesn't happen all the time but it's noticeable when it does.

Pros

I appreciate how everything is laid out in an organized way. I don't have to search around too much to find what I need and it feels comfortable to work in.

Cons

I'm not able to remove goals or reports that I accidentally start. Even when I try to delete them, the system keeps them there, which leaves extra things in my list that I don't actually need.

Easier to learn compared to other systems

Pros

As a student SLP who has used several different systems, I was glad that I could get comfortable with this one fairly quickly. It didn't feel overwhelming when I first started using it.

Cons

I recall times when the system was unavailable because of maintenance and on those days it slowed down my documentation since I had to wait to get back in.

Pros

Cons

Pros

Really like how the documentation process is set up. I also make use of the help section when I need quick guidance and it's been useful when I'm unsure about something.

Cons

Wish the main calendar showed the full day without needing to scroll. Also, the hover tool can be sensitive, which makes checking details a bit awkward at times.
