“Thoughtfully designed but is costly”
Pros
The software is thoughtfully designed and very well integrated, making it very easy to use. I also found the pricing fair and the tool extremely helpful in my day-to-day work.
Cons
Overall, I started to notice it became costly to keep using and several features felt like they were falling behind competitors. On top of that I experienced customer support that was inconsistent and sometimes unavailable when I needed help.

“Easy to use for expanding practices”
Pros
Practice Fusion is easy to use and has helped our practice expand as we keep growing. For a privately run clinic like ours, this capability is absolutely essential.
Cons
I have noticed the interface could use refreshes in certain spots. A few features come across as slightly outdated although they don't actually impair how the system works.

“Complete EMR!”
Pros
From my perspective, this works as a full EMR built for therapy practices covering scheduling, billing, goal tracking and documentation all in one setup. I appreciate having ready-made templates for goals and notes because they help reduce repetitive work during sessions.
Cons
One thing that stands out for me is that I can't make certain appointment types or labels match the exact categories my clinic uses. I also notice that reaching customer support sometimes takes longer than I'd like, especially when I need a quick answer to keep work moving.

“Support has declined”
Pros
Our clinic originally used it when it was still Fusion Web Clinic and back then it felt smoother and more polished. After it changed ownership around 2021, it just hasn't felt like the same product. It used to be far more reliable and easier to work in and the shift over time has been frustrating.
Cons
I'm really disappointed in the lack of support now. When we used the original version under Fusion Web Clinic, help was always available and reliable. After the new company took over, it felt like the focus shifted to pushing extra products instead of actually helping the users who were already here.

“easy setup”
Pros
Setting this up was easy and I was able to learn how to use it without much hassle.
Cons
That said, I have noticed it interrupts workflow more frequently than other EMR systems I've used.

Free Trial
“Deactivated account as fraudulent without notice”
Pros
Unfortunately I never had the chance to try the exact feature I needed during my time with them, so I really cannot point to any positives from my experience.
Cons
When I signed up for 14-day free trial, my goal was to use their ePrescribe feature. My license verification was submitted on day one yet I didn't get any response until after the trial had ended. Only then was I told ePrescribe wasn't included in the trial. They asked me to restart the process and promised it would be expedited but several days went by with no updates. After I followed up, I was instructed to provide a notarized letter and additional supporting documents which I arranged and paid for myself. Then the day before my scheduled notary appointment, my account was suddenly deactivated for allegedly being fraudulent, with no prior notice or explanation. This whole situation cost me time and money and delayed other parts of launching my practice, so I don't recommend this company.

“Easy to use but poor customer service”
Pros
In my experience, I find it easy to navigate and operate and it's excellent for documenting charts and e-prescribing.
Cons
I often struggle to reach a single person in their customer service when I need help.

“Well-organized layout”
Pros
Appreciate how everything is arranged in a clear way. Finding and adjusting goals is simple for me and writing SOAP notes feels natural once I'm inside the client's chart. Updating them doesn't feel like a chore.
Cons
I've seen random question marks appear inside my SOAP notes without me placing them there. It makes the documentation look sloppy and makes me hesitate when relying on it for medical records because accuracy is important in client care.

“Useful pull?forward feature”
Pros
I make use of the pull?forward option for daily notes quite often. It helps keep records consistent when sessions follow similar patterns and saves me from typing the same phrases repeatedly.
Cons
I struggle when I'm trying to look at multiple therapists schedules side by side. It's also hard to tell if another therapist shares a client with me unless I open their appointments one by one, which slows down planning.

“Easy to make changes to appointments”
Pros
I personally like that the layout feels neat and structured. Making changes to appointments like adding, editing, cancelling doesn't feel complicated. It stays organized while still letting us adjust things based on client needs.
Cons
Would really like more flexibility in how reminders get sent. For example, being able to trigger one reminder the day before and another closer to the appointment time would be helpful for keeping attendance consistent.

“All-in-one solution”
Pros
Having everything in one spot helps my workday go smoother. I can schedule, bill, document and track goals without switching between multiple programs. It's convenient to handle it all inside one system.
Cons
I feel that the subscription should cost less for what is offered. It adds up quickly, especially for smaller practices or solo providers.

“PERFECT TOOL”
Pros
Being able to see my weekly schedule in one view is a plus and I like that I can add classes into the calendar as well. It helps me stay on track and plan ahead easily.
Cons
Don't really have any big complaints overall. The only thing that bugs me is how often it requests that I reset my password.

“sooo complex”
Pros
The reminders to finish daily notes and evaluations are helpful, especially on days when my caseload is heavy and I'm moving quickly between clients.
Cons
Many tasks feel like they need several extra clicks to complete. For something like scheduling, I wish the steps were more direct so that day?to?day planning didn't feel as time?consuming.

“poor workflow integration”
Pros
I find it helpful when writing notes for younger clients that I can adjust the objective areas and create my own homework or handout lists directly in the record.
Cons
It is tiring to manually enter time when my schedule stays the same every week. Also, the goal tracking format feels awkward for me because it pushes me to phrase goals in a way that doesn't always match how I measure progress. I usually end up simplifying goals just to avoid confusion. And pairing it with AI tools requires copy?and?paste every time, which slows me down.

“extremely pricey”
Pros
The goal?tracking tools are useful for reviewing progress over time. It makes evaluating how therapy is going noticeably clearer for both me and the families I work with.
Cons
The pricing feels too high for what we receive. I'm also frustrated that I can't easily see a log of when invoices were sent out, which would be helpful for billing discussions. I've already submitted feature requests for this.

“Works well for both sides”
Pros
It works well for both therapists and admin staff, so everyone can handle their part of the workflow without extra confusion or steps.
Cons
I have trouble understanding the billing side at times. Another issue is that I can't include the International Phonetic Alphabet in evaluation reports, which matters for speech work and not being able to customize reminders in different languages makes it harder to communicate with some of my clients.

“Built?in evaluation templates are so nice”
Pros
I can move through my caseload and write notes without feeling lost in endless menus. I also like using the built?in evaluation templates because they help save time setting everything up.
Cons
It would really help if the messaging area allowed adding attachments like files or photos. It would make communication with families and caregivers much clearer when sharing resources or updates.

“Everything in one place”
Pros
Love how scheduling, documentation and reaching support are all available in one place. The system feels familiar and even the error messages don't feel cold or technical.
Cons
I wish I had a quicker way to pull up missed visits. Right now, I have to look through authorization dates and count them myself, which takes extra time and leaves room for mistakes.

“User-friendly interface”
Pros
I feel comfortable writing evaluations, notes and progress summaries with this setup because the screen layout doesn't get in my way while I'm working.
Cons
As someone with an accounting background, getting financial reports out of the system can be challenging. It has gotten a bit better recently but there are still times when the system fails to flag clients who need progress summaries or reevaluations, especially if those came from external sources.

“Easy to learn and bill, but costly”
Pros
It doesn't take long to show new staff how to use it and billing through the system feels manageable instead of stressful.
Cons
My main issues are the cost and how difficult it can be to get help when something goes wrong. Troubleshooting doesn't always happen quickly and that can interrupt work.
