“Could improve some options for psychiatrists; especially for contact that is not covered by options”
Pros
It's easy to navigate, combines many functionalities in one place, is well-organized, has good customer support, offers great value for the money, and is a responsive company.
Cons
It's not fully updated on ICD 10 codes for psychiatry and has been slow to update for psychiatrists in the past. There are bugs related to psychiatric medications it will randomly replace a prescribed medication from a month ago with its generic name, and I have to re-enter start dates that I cannot access anymore.

“No cost to practice EMR, works for what we need but lacks add ons that could be crucial”
Pros
The fact that it costs nothing is great. It handles everything we need to run the practice, including messaging, scheduling, and appointments.
Cons
We're a fee-for-service practice, so all patients pay upfront. There is little to no functionality to accept payments through PF. I'd like to see that as an option since we currently use QuickBooks.

“Excellent, efficient,.”

“Terrible for small medical practices with a conscience”
Pros
The advantage of this product is that its free, but the downsides outweigh this low price. I only used it for a month before switching quickly.
Cons
You have to use their online calendar for all your appointments. If you don't use their calendar, you can't use the EHR function. This creates extra work. You also have to be okay with Practice Fusion selling your raw patient data to pharmaceutical companies. Yuck!

“Software being managed by morons”
Pros
It is free, and you can get it up and running quickly. It is web-based and works on both desktops and tablets, free to the provider.
Cons
Simple tweaks are completely ignored. I can't reach support. Its hard for patients to register, and if you run a walk-in clinic, you will need to type in every detail yourself. They claim to integrate with labs, pharmacy, and radiology for profit, which I do not care about. They should be profitable, but do not make me use a flawed product. When issues arise, they push it to a "crowd voting system." I never knew this existed, and as a busy provider, I do not have time to look through it. It's ridiculous and outdated; whoever came up with this idea should be fired. The founder must be out of touch because the lack of support and inability to adapt to simple tweaks is terrible. Dont use this software because after you train and get used to it, issues will arise, and you'll need to find another. There is no integration with billing software. The provided billing partners have one-way communication. The super bill flows into billing, but theres no way to know what a patient owes when they return. PF, in their infinite wisdom, wont integrate with free clearinghouses.

“Free software, but not my first choice.”
Pros
Well, you cannot beat the price! But you get what you pay for with EHR systems, and this one is not my top choice.
Cons
I used it briefly when I started my practice but switched quickly because the interface is chaotic, and I needed to rely on multiple other software for billing, scheduling, patient reminders, etc.

“Great software!”
Pros
It is a great software to use, it has so many functionalities that works really well for our office. It has templates through which data entry becomes really easy. Although it isn’t designed for therapists, but it could be customized accordingly that is what we have done to put it to better use for our work. It is cloud-based so you can easily access it from anywhere. The scheduling and charting feature is great and simple. I have recommended it to many people.
Cons
It definitely would be a perfect fit for physicians and doctors, but for us we had to customize it according to our requirements.

“Great for our budget”
Pros
The price is something why we selected Practice Fusion. We are a small office with only 2 providers so we kind of have a very limited budget and this has worked for us quite well. Many other practices recommended this product as well. It has many great features and can do a lot. We are starting to add the patient portal feature as well. It has made our jobs easier, and it is so easy to upload anything into the chart as updox coordinates well with Practice Fusion.
Cons
At the beginning it took us a while to get the hang of it, as we had no clue what we needed. But with time and many tries we figured things out and now we are doing pretty well. It was a bit hard to navigate at the beginning for us. Something I would like them to improve or add as a feature is the duplication of notes, as I have a document in which I have to update and then copy and paste. Having the feature of duplication would make things a lot easier related to patient care and making notes and stuff.

“Handy”
Pros
This system is really great as it helps us do a lot. The main purpose that we use this system is because of its mental health billing. We can easily enter data through templates, which saves a lot of our time. The MIPS dashboard is great as it helps us track Medicare incentives. It is very handy for us.
Cons
There needs to be a specific place where we can find the phone notes, as it takes a while going back and forth in search of the phone notes we make. They need to make it more organized and easy to find.

Pros
It is easy to use and to learn. It can be remotely accessed. Also, it records MIPS partially
Cons
The customer service is unresponsive and they do not respond timely to queries. Even, if you leave a message, you will not get any reply or call. Moreover e-prescribing is also terrible.

“Free EMR”
Pros
This is a free electronic health record. Anyone can easily get this system and access it from anywhere as it is a cloud-based system. You don’t need to get any servers or any hardware of that sort just to get the system. There are no hidden costs to this system. It is easy to use, and you can easily get the hang of it. You can easily link it with labs etc and send and receive information. Happy with the EMR till now, cant say anything about the future.
Cons
They don’t seem to work well in the reporting side of this product. The Quality measures are only geared towards the primary care and not the specialty care measure and we focus on that. To report, I’ve to put all the information manually which is time-consuming. If things don’t work out for us we might have to switch EMRs as we want something that would help us improve our work and patient care.

Pros
Robust EHR. Great, user-friendly engineering. Extremely bright tech support & troubleshooting aid.
Cons
The customer service and support are very weak. Charts must be closed, so issues often emerge without a solution before signing. The growing company must ramp up their companys vital aspect-not ready for public offering without this vital component.

“Intuitive system”
Pros
It is a great system and is easy to use as well. The product has great value. The cost is something that would make everyone opt this system, as it is totally free. Most parts of the system are intuitive as well. Their customer support team is great and responds immediately. They offer templates, online forms etc. It is easy to compose notes and enter information due to their provided templates.
Cons
They need to improve their billing module, as we can’t have a two-way communication, plus it is difficult for me to integrate their billing module that would work best for me.
