“Best Bet for an Urgent Care”
Pros
The providers talk about the intuitive nature of the EMR to meet the needs for urgent care services. The practice management system over the years has allowed us to achieve superior collection percentages, DOS, and accounts over 120-day ratios. I highly recommend it for urgent care centers. DocuTap has been a great partner.
Cons
The analytics were weak in the beginning, but they have continued to improve over the years.

“Best Urgent Care EMR ever!”
Pros
DocuTAB is the most intuitive, concise, professional, and user-friendly EMR I've ever experienced.

Nothing! The learning curve and the above pros speak for themselves!

“Great value and easy to use”
Pros
Very easy to learn particularly on the EMR side; our doctors rarely needed more than an hour of training. Plus, the price was very reasonable we bundled paying for the system and the RCM product, which was a great value overall.
Cons
Reporting functionality was fairly limited. It was functional for a smaller size like us (four locations), but it would have been challenging to get appropriate reporting if we were significantly larger.

“One of the best systems”
Pros
This has to be one of the easiest systems to learn. I had no prior experience with this software, but I quickly adapted. It's a fantastic system to train people on; the possibilities are endless.
Cons
Sometimes getting problems fixed can be time-consuming, but overall customer service is typically pretty quick.

“Goooo Docutap!!”
Pros
I adore this program. I don't just "like" it, I LOVE it because it's so simple to use. It's very self-explanatory and efficiently guides you step by step through data entry.
Cons
I hate when the insurance verification goes down, but DocuTAP almost always rectifies any issues fairly quickly.

“DocuTAP Review”
Pros
Pretty user-friendly. Easy to use and navigate.
Cons
Some updates should be optional. The exact same DocuTAP doesn't work for every single urgent care.

“Docutap”
Pros
DocuTap is user-friendly, and the program is very clear and precise. I appreciate being able to customize each clinic. For billing purposes, it's very helpful to direct claims to specific work baskets and load claims by insurance.
Cons
There are a few things I wish were available with DocuTAP. I wish we could edit or delete notes (at least on the day they are entered) and highlight certain things in the notes section. I also wish we could see the entire patient address on the workbasket screen.

“User Friendly Software”
Pros
The software is easy to use. You can easily check a patient in under 2 minutes.
Cons
It would be nice if we could scan an insurance card and have the information populate into the insurance sections. I wish we could make DocuTAP paperless. Instead of giving patients paperwork to fill out, they could type their info into an iPad and it would automatically appear on the screen.

“OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE C+”
Pros
The software is straightforward; anyone can use it! It's genuinely one of the most intuitive software systems I've encountered. There are so many functions that we appreciate!
Cons
Their customer service team has little knowledge about the occupational medicine functions. While DocuTAP has made significant improvements over the last five years, not all customer service reps understand the occupational medicine portion. The biggest issue I have is with the invoices. We are a practice with multiple locations, and our invoices print one location per page, so sometimes our invoices exceed 10+ pages. We need all the charges listed in date order, regardless of the location. This causes dozens of short-paid, partially paid invoices each month because clients overlook the last page or pages in between. This results in more work for me as I have to call them explaining and asking for more money. It also increases our costs due to using more paper and needing additional postage and sometimes special size envelopes for seven or more pages.

“Solid EMR”
Pros
It functions well in an urgent care setting. It gets the job done and, if set up correctly from the start, offers a simple, easy-to-use EMR.
Cons
A lot of the functionalities are not fully developed. You will press a button, but often nothing happens. If they could build out some of the functionalities they tease with, it would be awesome! Additionally, the quality of customer support is extremely inconsistent.

“Easy Peasy!”
Pros
The software is very user-friendly. Everything is laid out step by step 1, 2, 3. They've improved on speed and functionality over the years. Overall, one of the best EMR systems I've worked with.
Cons
The system lacks in the billing area, especially if you are heavy on Occupational Health. Their tech support is not as knowledgeable as you'd hope.

“Connecting Transworld ISSUE”
Pros
To me, DocuTap is user-friendly. You can click to fill in other areas such as addresses and phone numbers.
Cons
DocuTAP is having trouble connecting a child with a guarantor to transfer bad debt to our Transworld Systems Bad Debt company. It isn't being resolved, and I have a lot of children's balances on hold because of this issue. It's very frustrating waiting for this to be done.
