Practice Velocity/Experity is a Solid ‘Starter’ Option for New Clinics
Pros

Works exceptionally well/all EHR bases covered for the first two years in practice. Currently contemplating switching to a more advanced system; am reluctant to shift after having gotten used to Velocity’s user-friendly screens.

Cons

Nothing major; just go light on all the promotional messaging sent on email.

All-in-one EHR + PM; go for it if you’re tired of the ‘market leaders’
Pros

Great EHR for busy clinicians who want a cost-effective, all-in-one, medical software for their practice; with a solid vendor support staff available round-the-clock to provide genuine help (HUGELY different from what the EMR big-shots ‘Ep.’ and ‘Ce.’ – you know which – are offering).

Cons

There IS a thing as being too friendly and undecided at times; an impression I sometimes get talking to their support team. You need to be definitive guys – just tell us if a feature’s good for us or not (we won’t sign-off!).

Bad experience with them
Pros

I do not like anything about it.

Cons

It is glitchy and makes my job more difficult. The system keeps crashing and there are too many windows you need to open to get a simple task done.

A decent option
Pros

It is easy to use for our administrative staff members and the doctors can complete the examination, clinical tests, notes and diagnosis online too.

Cons

The system crashes and then we have to reboot which causes us to lose information.

A decent software
Pros

The system is decent, not bad from the last one that we had. It is simple to use, our staff individuals total the clinic proportion effortlessly, notes, charts records, everything is available.

Cons

I dont like that the program crashes really often. It has to be closed down and after that restart it once more, all the data is lost.

Urgent Care Specific
Pros

Convenience with operational staff after IT tweaked UIs to boost efficiencies. Different EMRs can be excessively troublesome. It is a very good software for urgent care specialty.

Cons

The absence of significant worth-based measurements for quality reporting for Medicare and different models’ payers are trying to move. Similarly, reporting was constrained.

Great EMR
Pros

Overall this is a pretty great EMR. It is easy to use and helps do things quickly. It is best suited for urgent care, especially for fast paced ones.

Cons

The framework in general freezes more than I might want, making it a more drawn out time span to get patients discharged and out of the center.

Billing system needs massive improvements
Pros

Works very smooth. Easy to learn and teach staff to use. Good for scheduling and managing appointments. I like how they show a small red flag at the top corner of the screen whenever there is maintenance going on to let you know what they are doing and why.

Cons

The billing system in this software is no good. There is no protocol or security for notes and who is or isn’t authorized to make changes on them. If you have an electronic claim thats been billed to the primary payer and needs to be routed to the secondary payer, the system deletes your primary payment information before sending the claim to the secondary payer. The entire billing section is full of glitches that cause so many errors in our billings., making every little task needlessly harder.

not conducive to busy urgent care practice
Pros

Quite intuitive. You don’t need to input too much text to get the needed results. Neat and comprehensive layout, easy to navigate. Access screens are quite convenient. I like the dashboard too. not too complicated.

Cons

E-scribe is inefficient and inconceivable. There is no arrangement of saved medications, scrolling through to locate a med takes ages. Prescribing takes too many unnecessary clicks. The system only allows one person at a time to make changes in the system rendering it unfit to be used in a busy urgent care facility. You cannot even perform simple actions like discharging a patient without being asked to enter the password which is a waste of time when Im logged into the system after entering my password. Again, not fit for a busy urgent care setting.
