“PsychConsult works fine if it meets your needs

At a temporary place of employment in a psych ward setting, the software met all needs effectively. It was easy to learn and use for practitioners, fulfilling the clinic's requirements.

Cons

Similar to my previous comment, I didn't face issues with the software, but I now question its cost-effectiveness in a smaller practice setting.

The software serves multiple purposes for us, including medical billing, documentation, reporting, and internal communication. While it's not perfect, it offers one of the best all-encompassing solutions, crucial for fast and efficient workflows.

While I didn't encounter issues with the software, in my current role at a smaller practice, I question its cost-effectiveness. It seems more suited for medium to large clinics.

The robust system allows for the generation of various reports to maximize quality of care, revenue, and productivity.

Cons

As of now, there are no downsides to using PsychConsult. Cost concerns have been addressed through improved package offerings for interested practices.

Implementation of the software took over 12 months due to bringing up various functions simultaneously, including clinical, administrative, billing, and reporting. Despite the duration, the implementation went smoothly, with Askesis providing extensive training and assistance in setting up necessary configurations.

Cons

Transitioning from paper clinical charts to electronic records led us to seek new software. We previously relied on CMHC for patient demographic and reporting functions, billing, and financial tasks, while clinical staff used Word for documentation.
