“Smooth scheduling but no e-fax”
Pros
I love how smoothly the scheduling software my office uses (TAB) works with the EHR itself. It's easy to create new patient profiles and change appointments and both systems update in real time.
Cons
I really need to e-fax reports and referrals directly to other offices and the fact that I can't do that is a huge problem for my workflow.

Pros
Exceptionally simple to use and includes an expansive cluster of features to assist with numerous day-by-day errands inside an active office.
Cons
I found it a bit confusing at first to figure out how to organize the format, but after a short training session with Revolution EHR, it went smoothly. The team is always available to help and explain any areas I was struggling with.

“Easy to use but bad service”
Pros
It's overall easy to use. Both the optometrist and the assistant like the system. Making appointments, handling registration and ordering glasses is simple. We're just waiting on that equipment integration the sales rep promised us.
Cons
The training was way too long and it took me three months to get through all the videos. Customer support isn't very helpful and the sales and finance teams don't talk to each other. Because of that, my account has been marked as delinquent even when it shouldn't be.

“Quick access but very glitchy”
Pros
Very easy it is to access patient files in RevolutionEHR both past and present. Also, the ability to merge duplicate files (like one from three years ago and one from a recent visit) is a game-changer. I also like the software's design; it's really easy to use.
Cons
The worst part for me is how glitchy the software can be. There are times when I just can't log into my RevolutionEHR account unless I try over and over. It's incredibly frustrating when I'm busy and have a lot of patients to see.

The thing I liked most about using this software was how easy it was to get in touch with a customer service rep.
Cons

I wish the calendar feature was better. You can only look at one day at a time, it would be better if it was a week at a time visible instead.

Pros
Revolution is smooth to use and has all the features I need in an EHR. My staff has been able to learn it really quickly.
Cons
Using the software feels a little clunky at first but it does get easier over time. I still don't think the layout is all that great, though.

“Simple data transfer but hard letters”
Pros
It's easy to transfer data from previous years to the current date. I love the autosave feature. I can also print multiple prescriptions and link them to the optical department for a faster transition from the exam room to ordering.
Cons
I find it really difficult to save and then find the referral letters I create in the software. It should be a lot simpler.

Pros
The software always seems to be ahead of our needs. The REVS staff are amazing. I've had three sessions with their support team and they really pulled me out of the weeds. They were very patient and I'm very grateful to them.
Cons
Changing the encounter templates is a real hassle. It requires way too many clicks to get anything done.

Pros
In comparison to other software we’ve used in the past, we would choose RevolutionEHR as it is much better. They just need to fix a few bugs that the system has. It allows multiple users and is easy to use once you learn it. It is also able to retain a lot of data.
Cons
The customer support is not great, usually they don’t even respond. The system does crash a lot. Also, whenever there are updates the system runs slower.

Pros
It is user-friendly and very easy to learn and use. The requests are anything but difficult to do on this system. Taking appointments is extremely simple to do and you can place a ton of information in the demographics that you require for the patient data.
Cons
Sometimes the system gets really slow and just goes offline while we’re using it. It is actually something very annoying about it and slows our work.
