“Uncomplicated setup process
Pros
For me, this software feels very clean and user-friendly with a simple setup process, an easy-to-follow interface and an outstanding support team.
Cons
I don't mind the ads that sit along the edges of the application and personally I think it's still a worthwhile purchase because those ads are what allow them to offer the software at a lower, more affordable price.

Pros
Its very simple to understand and train others. The price is fair and I get good customer support when I need assistance.
Cons
I can't flag a patient's smoking status anymore and I would like that capability back. The system also tends to shut down from time to time on its own.

I use it to keep a complete record of every patient's prescriptions organized by date which is very helpful.
Cons
Sometimes when I carefully enter the one-time password, even though it's correct, the system still declines it and I have to repeat the procedure.

“Wide range of templates
Pros
I've noticed they offer a wide selection of templates to pick from and if none fit I can have them create a custom one for me or simply modify an existing template so it better matches what I actually need.
Cons
We still don't have signature pads available so we end up scanning documents like treatment plans that patients must sign and storing those scanned copies adds extra steps to our workflow.

“not a reliable product
Pros
Customer Support team really puts in effort. The software itself is lacking so they're often doing everything they can to make up for the product's shortcomings. They genuinely try to help, even though the underlying product quality is poor.
Cons
In my experience the workflow is a mess. When I need to go back to pull up previous information while I'm working on a current page, I have to abandon whatever I've entered just to go back. The back arrows are unreliable and often cause the system to freeze. I've also noticed that if I'm working in one module (say Clinical) and leave another module idle (like Scheduler), that idle area will kick me out and force me to sign back in repeatedly even though I'm supposedly still logged in. On top of that, prescribing is extremely frustrating.

“Responsive support staff
Pros
Found the customer service and technical support teams to be very responsive. Whatever problem I bring up they listen and actively work to improve the product. The EHR itself is simple to use and I really like the many built-in features it includes.
Cons
We've faced some issues with the Billing module related to posting payments for both patients and insurance carriers and we typically have to coordinate closely with their teams to resolve them.

“The best tool I've used
Pros
I've honestly used a lot of prescribing tools and this one stands out as the best I've come across. It's user-friendly and really speeds things up in daily use. When my state first required electronic prescribing, my sales rep Kelsey stepped in and was crucial in sorting out an issue with my token. After my token stopped working, she arranged for a replacement to be sent right away so I wouldn't be stuck. She made the whole transition feel effortless. Whenever I've had questions, Kelsey has been easy to reach and responsive with no endless phone tag like I had with other vendors.
Cons
My only complaint is that the manual for the medical records section could use a lot more detail. I keep meaning to carve out time for a tutorial but between appointments and paperwork it's been hard to schedule. Even so, I'm extremely happy with the e-prescribing features and that satisfaction has pushed me to prioritize booking a walkthrough soon so I can start applying it across my entire patient roster.

“Made things simple for me
Pros
Being a solo-practicing child psychiatrist, handling scheduled medication prescriptions for children with ADHD (and for adults) used to be the bane of my professional existence. This software has made things easy for me.
Cons
I find there's a bit of a learning curve with the software and it's not particularly user-friendly. The action icons don't reveal what they do when I hover the cursor over them. Searching for pharmacies by city won't tolerate misspellings or offer suggestions and the same rigid search applies to a patient's name. These issues are small but genuinely irritating.

I find the system pretty user-friendly with strong connectivity. Entering data is simple and the instructions that come with it are easy to follow. Whenever I've needed assistance, their support team has been quick to respond and consistently polite and helpful.
Cons
That said, my only real issue is the lack of reliable support outside normal business hours. Although the automated weekend message claims emergent problems can be handled, it doesn't explain how to flag something as an emergency. I left a message over the weekend about a situation that needed immediate attention but it wasn't responded to until Monday.

I've found the system simple to use and I appreciate the responsive customer service and the competitive pricing.
Cons
The EMR is somewhat complex so we've decided to use a different system for that. For practice management, however, RxNT has been terrific in my experience. My main complaint is that the e-prescribing component is prohibitively expensive if you're trying to integrate it with other software.

“A lot of positives
Pros
There are so many positives about it that I'm honestly not sure where to begin. The people who work there are wonderful. Whenever I call I get through right away and when I send an email they typically reply in minutes. As for the software itself, I find it excellent and very user-friendly to use. I don't have to waste hours hunting down reports or configuring settings because everything is laid out and accessible. Scheduling is particularly simple. I actually led a training session yesterday on scheduling for one of my offices and the whole team preferred it to their previous system. They kept saying how much simpler it was to book a patient and handle the check-in flow. On the billing side it's equally strong. There are procedure macros that I lean on a lot and looking up diagnosis codes is remarkably easy. With other systems I've used, you often have to type the exact medical term to find the right code but RxNT seems to have built the diagnoses search so anyone regardless of their medical terminology knowledge can locate the correct code. It's even nudged me a few times to add an additional diagnosis based on what I entered which no other platform I've worked with has done. When our practice first signed up we were told smaller payers could start taking claims immediately and the major payers might take three to five weeks. Surprisingly I was getting ERAs from the larger payers within about ten days. The clearinghouse representatives stayed in constant contact, sending weekly updates so I always knew exactly where each payer was in the onboarding process. Honestly, it doesn't feel like other billing systems and their team stands out in the best way, they take pride in their work and treat us more like family than just customers.
Cons
My only real downside to mention is that after using the system for a while it can start to slow down and feel a bit sluggish. The good news is that the slowdown is temporary and if I log out and then log back in everything snaps back to normal and I can continue working without further issues.
