Best ever

Pros

Transitioning from daily phone calls to having lunches booked online by pharmaceutical reps has been a game-changer. Initially, when an employee left who handled lunches, I was left to manage it, which became overwhelming. I considered canceling all lunches until I discovered RxVantage during a virtual MGMA seminar. After learning about its capabilities, I was sold. I instructed reps on how to use the system, eliminating the need for manual scheduling on our end. Now, my time is freed up, employees get their lunches, reps gain access to physicians and NPs, and reps can book their own appointments. It's been a transformative solution.

Cons

The fact that there's no cost to the practice is a huge plus. I have nothing negative to say about this product.

Must have for rep lunches

Pros

Tracking daily scheduled lunches and communicating with reps within the software is convenient.

Cons

One aspect I find frustrating is when appointments are automatically canceled by RxVantage if reps forget to confirm them. This can lead to double bookings and manual follow-ups, which disrupt the scheduling process. It would be beneficial if the system could handle unconfirmed appointments differently to prevent such issues.

Efficiency and time saver

Pros

Reps can now schedule, confirm, cancel, and check the schedule without interrupting our office staff. If there's a scheduling discrepancy, it's easy to check the logs to identify the issue, which typically arises when reps fail to confirm their lunches. This program has saved our office staff a considerable amount of time and frustration. While reps may experience a slight learning curve with their initial schedule, navigation becomes easy afterward. Overall, we love it.

Cons

It's essential for reps to input our zip code to ensure our practice shows up on their list. Additionally, reps must promptly confirm their lunch appointments; otherwise, they may be offered to other reps, leading to occasional double bookings. These aspects are crucial for smooth scheduling and minimizing conflicts.

Simplifies Scheduling Visits with PharmaMedical Representatives

Pros

Using RxVantage has significantly reduced the time our front desk staff spends on scheduling meetings with Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Representatives. The software allows reps to log in view our available meeting times and selfschedule according to the rules we've set. It keeps the scheduling separate from our patient information and allows direct communication through the platform. It's fast easy and has received positive feedback from reps once they learn how to use it.

Cons

Some reps initially struggle with the signup process specifically finding our doctors or practice name. It requires them to be specific and list every city in their territory. Improving this aspect could enhance the user experience. However most reps eventually adapt to the system and find it more convenient than traditional scheduling methods.

Every office that see Pharma reps needs to get this software

Pros

RXVantage has revolutionized how pharmaceutical reps schedule appointments with our office. They can now schedule on their own without involving our staff, while we still retain control over our schedule. This means no more unexpected visits tying up our front office staff and causing delays for doctors. Everything from scheduling appointments to requesting samples can be done online. The integration process was smooth and quick, and the addition of the dinner program further enhances its utility. With RXVantage, managing our appointments has become effortless, allowing us to focus on providing excellent patient care.

Cons

I have no complaints; customer service is responsive and receptive to suggestions for added features.

RxVantage=Essential

Pros

Easy access, coordination across multiple locations, and the ability to reach reps easily are some of the key benefits of RxVantage.

Cons

It would be helpful to implement more notifications to reps if their appointments are canceled due to non-confirmation. Some reps have complained about not receiving email notifications, so including text notifications could improve communication in these cases.

A Handy Tool!

Pros

RXVantage is an invaluable tool for our marketing team. It simplifies the process of connecting with various physician offices and scheduling luncheons or visits. Gone are the days of making numerous calls or visiting offices in person to set things up. With RXVantage, it's all streamlined into one platform. Additionally, the software sends reminders, ensuring we never forget scheduled visits. It's a comprehensive solution that enhances our efficiency and organization.

Cons

Not all offices keep the system updated, which can hinder scheduling visits. This issue needs to be addressed.

Great in principle not so good in execution or access. Like paying for something and getting little

Pros

It's easier to schedule appointments over large territories using RxVantage.

Cons

Using the software for scheduling with multiple offices has been convenient, but frustrations arise with the paid version, especially regarding delayed alerts and difficulty securing appointments. The limitations of the "free" version, such as lack of instant alerts, also pose challenges. Quick response is crucial in booking appointments, and delays or missed opportunities can be frustrating. Additionally, the system's reliance on offices for appointment releases and the potential for staggered releases can further complicate scheduling. This setup seems to favor larger companies, while smaller ones struggle to take advantage of the system's benefits. Despite efforts to collaborate with reps from other companies, this workaround doesn't fully address the system's shortcomings. Overall, the software's current setup, particularly in areas like San Francisco or Northern California, can be as problematic as having offices that don't participate in lunches, leading to considerable disappointment.

Set It and Forget It!

Pros

By relieving the front desk staff of the scheduling burden, we've significantly increased our work production. They no longer need to manage a handwritten calendar, saving time and avoiding potential scheduling abuses. With specific parameters set for each office and tailored to each physician's preferences, we have greater control over who can be seen and when. The system allows drug reps to schedule appointments within these parameters, streamlining the process and making it hands-off for us. It's a simple and efficient solution that allows us to focus on more important tasks.

Cons

We often receive complaints from drug reps about the cost of membership, but for us, the ease and convenience of using RXVantage outweigh any drawbacks. It has transformed our scheduling process, and we're committed to leveraging its benefits for the betterment of patient care.
