Outstanding patient support

Pros

From the very start, team understood every concern I had and handled everything with such patience and care. I'm not very comfortable with technology but she guided me step by step in a way that made the whole process feel simple, almost like she was right there in my phone helping me through it. The level of support she provided was truly exceptional. It's not often you come across someone with that much professionalism, kindness and genuine dedication in customer service. I really hope your organization recognizes her outstanding work, as employees are incredibly valuable. She deserves real acknowledgment, whether that's an award, a promotion or some other form of recognition. Her attitude and commitment made a situation that could have been stressful feel pleasant and manageable and I'm sincerely grateful. Please share my heartfelt thanks with her and thank you as well for the work your team does.

Cons

Honestly don't have anything negative to mention. There's nothing that stands out as a problem and I'd rather highlight the positive especially when there are good people making such a difference.

Unnecessary app

Pros

I bet the Pro was selling this to doctors offices for free. Trying to outsource vendors calling. But I still set up everything with the office over the phone. At the end they said I’d receive a confirmation email…and then I got roped into this service. To what benefit?

Cons

It’s telling that the positive reviews of this platform come from a doctors office, not those that have to pay (reps) for things we already do for free at 100s of other offices. I have accounts in 5 states and only 1 office that uses this. And I still need to contact the office directly to confirm lunch details.

Overpriced experience

Pros

This feels like the pharma rep version of the "repscrubs" money-making setup that device reps have to deal with in hospitals.

Cons

This is basically a service nobody asked for. When it was free, it was mildly annoying at most. Now they're charging reps close to $500 a year just for the ability to book lunches. I talked to a rep today hoping to find some kind of workaround since I really can't justify expensing something this non-essential. He told me they were still waiting to hear back from my company's HQ about my product line, territory and target offices. I even offered to give him all of that information myself but he refused, saying it was "corporate policy" to only accept it from someone at corporate while still being more than willing to sign me up for a paid membership, of course. The whole conversation came across as dishonest and shady which is exactly how the business model feels too. It really seems like they introduced this to offices as a free service, then once enough offices were using it, they turned around and made reps pay for access. Most of the offices I work with had no idea how much reps were being charged to use it. That's just not fair to those of us out here working hard.

Worst Scheduling Website

Pros

None

Cons

There once was a free version now you have to pay an expensive monthly fee just to schedule a meeting which doesn’t even guarantee that more than one doctor will attend. Offices have rules on how many meetings a company can schedule making bookings even more difficult. The website is difficult to navigate necessitating calls to RxVantage and the doctors office anyway. I refuse to use this incredibly cumbersome service.

Scheduling Meetings with Health Care Providers

Pros

None whatsoever

Cons

There is no longer a free version. The cost to schedule a meeting with a clinic is ridiculously high monthly. Only one office in my territory requires pharmaceutical reps to schedule this way so it’s SO not worth it! It’s much easier to schedule directly with an office which most offices allow thankfully. Using RxAdvantage to schedule is extremely difficult. The customer support is via email not telephone unless you pay $150 per month.

Awful app!

Pros

Personally, I find contacting the office directly far more efficient and personalized.

Cons

It is very frustrating trying to book appointments through this platform. It's nearly impossible, and I end up having to double-check with offices anyway. Now, on top of that, we have to pay for this terrible service!

Reliable online scheduling platform

Pros

I appreciate how representatives can customize their outreach to providers, addressing specific needs and questions.

Cons

I wish there were more options to verify our providers' schedules, like knowing when their lunch hour is. It would be great to set specific provider preferences for scheduling visits.

Incredibly supportive tool

Pros

It is incredibly convenient to direct our drug reps to this site for setting up lunches and other appointments without needing to maintain a calendar at the front desk. With all our preferences and availability listed, it streamlines the process for everyone involved.

Cons

Our office information seems to be circulating more widely now, leading to more requests from reps to visit us.

Simplified scheduling for pharma reps

Pros

We've experienced a significant shift in our front desk operations since using RxVantage. Our staff spends less time scheduling meetings with Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Representatives and more time focused on patient care. Interested reps can log on, view our available meeting times, and self-schedule based on our clearly defined rules. This software also ensures that scheduling remains separate from our patient appointments and information. Communication with reps is swift and efficient through the software's messaging feature, eliminating the need for lengthy phone calls or texting. Feedback from the reps has been positive once they become familiar with the system, emphasizing its speed and ease of use.

Cons

Initially, some representatives encounter difficulties with the software, particularly when signing up to find our doctors or practice. It appears they need to be very precise with city names. However, despite these initial challenges, most representatives eventually express a preference for this scheduling method. They find it easier to use once they've overcome the initial hurdles.

Boosts efficiency

Pros

By providing brochures to pharma reps, I can let them schedule themselves, which eliminates the need for manual date checking and prevents double bookings.

Cons

The 48-hour confirmation feature is convenient but frustrating when slots get automatically removed if reps forget to confirm. It would be better if it held the slot temporarily.

Quick setup, helpful service

Pros

I'm thoroughly impressed with this platform. Initially skeptical, I kept wondering if there was a catch. Turns out, there isn't! Scheduling rep lunches used to be a time-consuming hassle, but RxVantage has freed up so much time for me and my staff. The implementation process was flawless; RxVantage loaded our upcoming calendar and handled contacting reps without any issues. I'm incredibly satisfied with this product, and I wish I had started using it sooner. While I'm not one to write reviews, I'll definitely be recommending this platform to others.

Cons

No problems have been experienced with this software.
