“Ready for that cool AI tool!
Pros
What I appreciate is how interactive and engaging it is to use. It feels responsive not static. The reasonable price point is a huge plus offering great value. And I especially love that my calendar uses smart color-coding as it makes scheduling visual without feeling cluttered or overly complicated at all. It's both practical and pleasant.
Cons
I'd love to try the AI tool I've been hearing about for the following session. I'm not exactly sure what it's officially called though I think it's available to a beta group. There aren't any real issues for me otherwise but having that feature would be a nice addition!

“Does everything I need
Pros
It is incredibly easy to use and it really keeps my brain from feeling overwhelmed , scheduling appointments, processing payments, finishing clinical notes and communicating with clients through the portal all feel smooth and manageable. Considering how affordable it is I'm genuinely surprised by the range of functionality it offers. At this point I can't picture myself moving to another EHR because Sessions already covers everything I rely on day to day.
Cons
At times crafting brand-new forms can be a bit tricky especially when I'm trying to design something more customized and unique but I've figured out some workarounds and can usually get the form to behave the way I need it to now.

“Best customer service I've faced
Pros
Of all the EHR platforms Ive used this one delivers far and away the strongest customer service experience I've ever encountered. Their team is consistently attentive, knowledgeable and remarkably quick to respond to every question I raise making sure nothing lingers unresolved. That level of reliable support truly sets them apart and adds immense value to the platform itself.
Cons
For my group practice it meets every requirement we have so I can't point to anything that I like the least.

“a smooth switch that feels right
Pros
I moved our EHR from a major competitor over to Sessions and the cutover has been remarkably smooth. Also the platform is interactive and easy to use and it reassures me that Sessions Health's mission and values match my own clinical priorities.
Cons
there is not anything about it that bothers me. I find it to be a truly comprehensive, full-service solution for how I run my practice.

“Really user-friendly with outstanding support
Pros
The interface is really user friendly, their customer support is outstanding and the whole system is pretty easy to navigate. I genuinely think it is a great product and I would not alter anything about it.
Cons
To be honest I can't think of anything thhat I dislike. Over time it has improved and kept introducing additional features that make it even better.

“Pretty good with prompt support replies
Pros
Everything about this tool is pretty good. The support team replies promptly and really helps when I need it. Even my clients often tell me Sessions Health is user friendly and simple to navigate. I also like how many functions are packed into it without giving a cluttered or confusing feeling. Plus I am a fan of the cost, especially since it's stayed the same aside from taxes.
Cons
There is no mobile app for clinicians or clients which is a major limitation. Plus when someone accepts a portal invitation, it opens the notes screen instead of doing something logical. I would much prefer it to go straight to the calendar to see the appointment details right away.

“Really affordable and easy to use but limited
Pros
It is really affordable and pretty easy to use. I can even pull up our whole clinic's schedule in one spot without hassle. Also the patient portal is clean and easy for clients to work with.
Cons
The kinds of reports available for revenue, client sessions, retention and outcomes feel pretty limited. So if I need to build more complex reports, the reporting tools don't offer much. I also find it hard to tell which rooms clinicians have booked when looking at the calendar.

“simple and easy to pick up
Pros
What I like most about Sessions Health is how simple it was for me to pick up. As someone who is legally blind, I find both the web and app versions easy to learn and easy to move around in. I have tried Athena, Insync, Simple Practice and Epic, and out of all of them this one wins for me because its learning curve is so minor. Plus it includes everything I require without unnecessary clutter.
Cons
I would like the remittance and ERA setup to be more user-friendly and better integrated. As I really dread going through that whole sequence and it feels like other EMRs have figured this part out more effectively.

“Absolutely love it, incredible pricing
Pros
I absolutely love it and I recommend it to all of my colleagues. As the pricing is incredible for what you get and their customer support is very responsive and helpful.
Cons
Running a small group practice, I'd really like to have more effective reporting and analytics. For example, having the ability to generate additional reports would make managing my caseload much easier.

“fairly priced and user-friendly
Pros
I really like the interface as it's user friendly and the onboarding process for my patients is fast and simple too. Creating custom templates is also not a problem. I even like that the company is ethical and does not use patient data to train AI. The support team replies promptly and welcomes feedback. Even the pricing feels reasonable and fair indeed.
Cons
Honestly I am very pleased and have no cons to share. Since I started using this EHR it has steadily expanded and become better over time. So it is tough for me to name any real flaws. If I had one nitpick, it would be that it does not produce lab slips or handle prescriptions which I wish it could.

“Very user-friendly and affordable
Pros
Sessions Health is very user-friendly and affordably priced. I also like that insurance billing is pretty simple and their support responds quickly.
Cons
The thing I least is the lack of innovation compared to competitors. I have seen other platforms adopt AI some time ago, so I am disappointed that I haven't noticed any AI features here yet.

“User-friendly and dependable telehealth
Pros
The platform is user-friendly and simple to use. I have also found telehealth sessions to be dependable. Plus several clients have told me they prefer this portal to the one I used before. The best thing is that it includes all the features I need while remaining reasonably priced. The customer service has been excellent too and outages are very rare and are fixed quickly when they happen.
Cons
I have noticed they are lacking a few things I consider basic, like read receipts for secure messages and a daily agenda email. Plus they push updates fairly often but many of those changes focus on tools I personally don't use.

“Captures all client information needed
Pros
It captures pretty much all the client information I need to record and I like being able to create my own assessments while also finding the built-in ones useful. For what it costs this EHR gives a lot of functionality. Plus the support team gets back to me quickly when questions or issues come up and I found the learning curve pretty much manageable.
Cons
At the moment I do not have any complaints as it provides all the features I require from an EHR.

“All features with five-star support
Pros
The software includes all the features I needed after leaving one of the big-name EHRs. It matches up well with the pricier system as well and the tech/support team here has been five-star. They also roll out new features and updates all the time.
Cons
My only complaint is the look and feel, as it does not quite match the class of the pricier EHR I was using before.

“I have nothing bad to say
Pros
I've been really impressed with the UX and UI , they are top-notch. It didn't take long for me to pick things up and navigating the app felt interactive from the start. I also value that a small, focused team handles it, they genuinely care. The support documentation is helpful and on the one occasion I reached out over three years, they responded right away.
Cons
Honestly I can't find any real drawbacks to share. My experience using their software in private practice has been consistently pleasant and trouble-free.

“want to see the client view
Pros
Honestly I really like how user-friendly the whole system is and it only took a little time to move over my old records without any headaches. It's reassuring to see the developers pushing out updates on a regular basis and the appointment and follow-up reminders for clients work really well. I'm also relieved there is not an AI option built in right now because I don't want that in my clinical practice.
Cons
I'd really appreciate an administrator preview so I can see exactly what my clients experience when I set up their portal, schedule sessions or send reminders something like an admin mode that shows the client view would be invaluable. When I was getting comfortable with the system, I had to create a fake client account to test workflows and confirm that everything looked right which felt clunky.
