EHR templates are easy to create

Cons

Customer support is non existent after onboarding - my staff complained frequently about being ignored. The program lost information on the practice management side- both my office manager and biller complained about this frequently and it took a lot of extra admin time to discover and retrieve lost information. The PM side of things is very cumbersome and not easily navigated. The cancellation process is also cumbersome- buyer beware it is designed to detour you from cancellation. Expect to pay for months of service after you cancel because their data collection process takes 6-8 weeks to perform- leaving you on the hook for unnecessary expenses beyond your contract and utilization.

Professional look but creates errors

It has a professional appearance but its performance is not up to par. Howeverrr this software had real potential to be excellent.

Our fantastic trainer gives prompt feedback

Pros

We're really happy with our trainer !! they're fantastic. One thing we especially appreciate is how quickly we get feedback. It makes a huge difference to get that guidance right away instead of waiting around.

Cons

The lack of a texting feature for patients is a drawback. As we really need a way to notify them about their upcoming appointments.

Simple interface with strong communication

Pros

My favorite parts are the simple interface, the systems speed and the strong communication it supports for both our team and our patients. It is also great that we can have several files open at once and training newcomers is easy because everything makes sense.

Cons

Honestly there is very little I don't like about it. It is a great program thats made our office run much more smoothly. The only small improvement I can think of is being able to look back at messages even after they have been sent.

Getting into it is not an issue. Yes I had some doubts initially but moving around the platform turned out to be very easy.

Cons

pretty easy to use for everyone on staff

Sevocity is so user friendly that everyone finds it easy to use, from our staff to the doctors themselves.

Cons

If I had to point out one downside it is the way we have to access our MIPS reports. It would be much more convenient if they were displayed on a simple, easy to read dashboard.

The EMR system is very user friendly. Their support team is also wonderful as they are always helpful for answering questions and getting our new hires trained up.

Simplifies counseling center operations

Pros

Psychologists typically don't receive software training in med school, so it's always a relief to get a practice tool that automates a lot of the paperwork for you, without you having to pour over lengthy tutorials and bother customer support for every little thing. Sevocity is doing great for us on all these fronts.

Cons

Ideal for behavioral health workflows

Pros

As a small rehab facility with lots of critical patient mental health work, we were initially quite intrigued by all the positive reviews left by existing subscription customers on Google, so we decided to give the platform a shot. And it was good that we did because now our entire company operation, from initial clinic data entry and the vendor's training sessions to client billing, everything has proceeded smoothly. I agree that the software is suited for different specialties; some of our colleagues are successfully using it in their orthopedic practice. We recommend Sevocity, so you can take our software advice with confidence.

Cons

The support team has troubled us on a few occasions, one instance where valuable time was lost because of an unfortunate delay in receiving swift system troubleshooting help. We're hoping the vendor takes notice and improves these issues.

excellent at handling high patient volume

Pros

My top reason for liking this software is how well it handles a high number of patients. The templates are a lifesaver on hectic days making everything much faster and more efficient for us.

Cons

Removing templates is a tedious process because we have to delete them from each providers profile separately. Prescribing medication is also a bit awkward since it requires switching to a separate, linked software program.

Simpler than other eHRs, amazing support

Pros

Sevocity has been much simpler to operate than the three other EHR systems I have tried. A standout feature is making my own templates and flow sheets which the amazing support team helped me set up.

Cons

Right now I wish I could design templates outside of a specific patient's file. It would also be helpful to build simple flow sheets and to pull details from another providers past notes. These features might already exist but I am still new to the system, having only used it for a few weeks.

Our clinic can customize the EMR to fit our specific needs by adding what we require and cutting out the clutter. Also their team has been amazing in assisting us with the setup and launch.

Cons

As an administrator I'd prefer to be able to rearrange items directly within the templates when I'm editing them myself though it's only a minor hassle.

cost-effective and instantly accessible for a decade

Pros

We relied on Sevocity for over a decade. It is cost-effective and incredibly easy for everyone to use. I also love how we have eliminated physical charts and filing so now all the information is instantly accessible. Plus having reports and labs scanned directly into digital charts is the best as it simplifies the workflow immensely for both the front desk and the nurses. Communicating with doctors, sending messages and getting replies within minutes is also an amazing feature.

Cons

Our team is very happy with the system overall. The one feature I wish was easier to manage is customizing the letterhead that prints on patient correspondence. It was excellent in setting this up for us initially. However after some doctor changes we needed updates and were told they only assist with the first setup. This has been challenging since none of us know how to adjust the letterhead ourselves so now our letters go out without our official header.

great for charting and internal hub

Pros

The software is great. We use it for electronic charting, the patient portal and their excellent customer support. Beyond patient care, Sevocity also acts as a central hub for all sorts of our offices internal document storage. We have been using the platform for nearly ten years now.

Cons

Once a document is uploaded into it I would really like the ability to rotate it if it's oriented incorrectly.

easy to use, dependable and secure

Pros

My favorite thing about this program is how easy it is for anyone to use. I also really value that it's consistently dependable. On top of that the strong security gives me great peace of mind.

Cons

The support and customer service side is what I like the least. I often have to call multiple times before someone picks up. Once I do get through, the help is fast and the staff knows what they are doing.

Wonderfully simple template creation

Pros

Creating and editing templates is wonderfully simple. Setting up shortcuts for our most-used items is another feature I really like.

Cons

Getting a provider fully set up with prescriptive authority in it takes far too long as there are just too many steps. As I really wish once their account was activated, that would be the end of it.

simple and smoothly connects with labs

Pros

It is user friendly, works well and makes sense. Also we can create a full note by picking the exact sections we need and it connects smoothly with labs, importing results right into the patient file.

Cons

The system only lets one person work in a chart at a time which creates delays for both patients and our team. Everyone has to wait their turn to complete their part, like notes or prescriptions.

Simple to operate and easy integration

It is simple to operate and integrating it with our states immunization registry and our own management software was surprisingly smooth.

Cons

excellent tools and fantastic help section

Pros

The Tools and Admin sections are full of useful features and are very simple to use. If you ever get stuck, Sevocity's Help Section has a Customer News area where you can request assistance or join training webinars. Plus training our own staff on it is just as easy.

Cons

Most of the software and its various features are excellent but we constantly have issues with the PPDX interface. This might be related to the hospital we work with but there have been long stretches with no incoming messages and resolution takes forever. We have practically stopped relying on it even though we really need it for hospital notes and pathology reports.

easy to learn and well-organized

Pros

All in all, the system is easy to both learn and use daily. Plus the layout with its clear tabs is practical and well-organized.

Cons

It is a one-way system so we cannot send orders directly from Sevocity to outside labs. Also I wish the patient encounter was on a single, simple window instead of spread across multiple tabs, including having medication orders right there instead of jumping into Rcopia.

One thing we really like is that we tailor the experience for every doctor and build as many custom templates as we want, without having to wait for a special team to implement changes for us.

fast one-click actions but has integration issues

It offers the same core features or sometimes even quicker one-click actions, compared to other EHR systems I have seen.

Cons

Since the EHR and the Practice Management system are two separate products and not built as one integrated platform sometimes an encounter or charge does not transfer over to billing. Also a lot of doctors have a major complaint: they really wish they could use it on a small or portable iPad instead of being stuck on a Windows or Mac laptop. The Microsoft Surface option does not offer the same easy, user friendly experience as EHR software designed specifically for iPad users.

Adaptable and user friendly since 2009

Pros

My experience with Sevocity goes all the way back to 2009. I value its adaptability and I am also grateful for how user-friendly it is. The company itself is very responsive, always paying close attention to how they can make the system better.

Cons

Our only wish is that the connection between Sevocity and DrFirst functioned better. To be clear, this is not softwares fault as it's a DrFirst issue. But it would organize refills if, when a request comes in, the provider could immediately see the patient's last visit details. As for now, you have to exit DrFirst, open Sevocity to check the chart and notes and then go back. It is more time-consuming than necessary but it would not make me hesitate to choose Sevocity again.

Simple to use and train new people

Pros

The product itself is simple to use and training new people is equally simple. Our new hires tend to learn it fast which is a huge advantage for our hectic office. All things considered, we are satisfied with the software as it does what we need it to do.

Cons

We ran into some problems getting it to work with our other software like Kareo. But they are collaborating now to resolve a two-month issue where new patient data is not transferring. Also our provider is not fond of the procedure notes in this system so we use a different EMR for that as well.
