Pros
I really appreciate the soap notes and customization options. The tagging feature on the body is fantastic, and I love how the system learns which tags I use most frequently.
Cons
The calendar and booking functionality feels somewhat cumbersome. Moving appointments around is not as straightforward, and associated invoices or notes don't move along seamlessly. Deleting appointments also involves multiple steps.

From the first use, the platform felt very simple. Everything is simple to understand, the options are clearly laid out and the interface isn't visually overwhelming. That really matters for customers who just want to book an appointment without getting distracted or confused.

Using it has been very simple and whenever I've had a question, the response has come back quickly. The online booking and online charting are features I really appreciate and being able to work from anywhere makes a big difference.
Cons
One thing I'd change is having the option to add pictures to client files included instead of offered as an extra feature. That would make it much more convenient to keep clients' referral letters stored right in their profile.

“Branded portal with useful features”
Pros
One of the best parts for me is the web portal for patients especially because I can customize it with my company branding and even have it installed like an app on my patients' devices. That has been incredibly valuable. There are also a lot of other features I really appreciate: patients can see both past and upcoming appointments and add themselves to a waitlist, they can view and pay invoices and they're able to download their clinical notes directly from the portal. The appointment layout can also be customized so everything appears larger and clearer which matters a lot for older patients. I also really appreciate how services and categories are organized. It's a very feature-rich setup. Having multiple duration options for services makes the scheduling layout much more practical and being able to assign different payment rules to each service is a very useful touch. The overall client payment settings are also excellent. A lot of other platforms don't support keeping a card on file but Noterro does. On top of that, the ability to label patients and apply credits to their accounts feels unique and genuinely helpful.
Cons
A few important pieces are still missing and they would make a major difference if added. The biggest one is a dedicated telehealth option. Integration with Zoom or Google Meet would likely solve this especially since both offer HIPAA-compliant capabilities. I've managed to create some workarounds but they're buggy and far from ideal. Another major gap is the lack of a way to assign certain services to specific days or times. That's extremely important in a service-based business. If that never gets added, it could eventually become a deciding factor for me.

“fantastic support and scheduling”
Pros
A fellow massage therapist pointed me toward Noterro and it ended up being a much better fit for my needs. My setup was a bit complicated and I had already had a hard time trying to make Acuity and Book Like a Boss work. The thing that really convinced me was the free Zoom meeting with the support rep. He was extremely knowledgeable, set realistic expectations for online booking and even helped me find a workaround for my specific situation. The online tutorials were also very useful once I actually sat down and watched them and I appreciated that I could access them anytime while setting up my clinic. On top of that, the online support was prompt and very helpful. My clients are also really happy that I can now offer online scheduling.
Cons
If I could have had it my ideal way, I would have loved a full white-glove setup where someone handled everything for me. That said since it's my system, it does make sense that I know how it works and how to adjust things as my clinic grows.

Pros
The workflow has been really solid and I especially love the labels and how well it integrates with Square. Once the macros are set up, it becomes very fast to complete daily notes. The forms are also a nice part of the system. I'd also love to see the copy function work on finalized notes.
Cons
Setting up shortcuts and implementing codes takes quite a while. I'm also not very impressed with the billing side of it especially with the ongoing issues around date of service and having to create workarounds.

Cons

One frustrating part is that any changes you make don't apply to existing appointments so you either have to update every appointment again or wait until those bookings are done. It's also difficult to reach an actual person by phone since support mainly has to be handled online.
