smooth booking every time

Solid value

Pros

One of the best parts is the value you get for the price. The customer support has also been very helpful and I appreciate the appointment reminders, the option to send follow-up emails through the system and the fact that the software keeps improving with new features over time.

Cons

A few things still need work. Software updates sometimes happen during business hours which can be disruptive. The online booking page feels disorganized and it is not simple to calculate practitioner timesheets or generate accounts receivable reports for specific date ranges. It also lacks flexibility for booking with a 5-minute cleanup buffer, sending automated waitlist notifications, tracking referrals, calculating the number of return visits per patient, automatically creating an invoice when a patient is marked as arrived and handling patients who do not have appointments.

Best support and value

Pros

Honestly the customer service has been the best I've dealt with in any software. The team is consistently helpful, patient with those of us who need a bit more technical guidance and very quick to respond. The app itself is excellent.. simple to use while still being highly efficient. For the price, I really don't think there's a better option out there.

Cons

The only thing I'd personally like is for the myoman in previous notes to pop up but that's really more of a preference than an actual problem.

simple square sync and setup

Strong customization

Pros

As a solo cash-based physical therapy practice the pricing had been a really good fit for the features included. The platform keeps things simple and that's honestly what separates Noterro for me after working with everything from EPIC to other systems. I also appreciate being able to match the online portal to my brand colors, offer online scheduling, customize forms and agreements and tailor treatment notes with smart phrases.

Cons

That said the newer pricing model feels less friendly for sole practitioners. Some features are especially important for a small practice without front-desk staff and the waitlist really seems like it should be included at the base level. Invoicing is also missing smart phrases which would make a big difference. It would be much more helpful to use smart phrases in the invoice notes section or to duplicate an invoice when checking in a client.

One thing that really stands out is how quickly the team responds and how fast you get results. The AI does a really good job of answering questions with detailed instructions that are clear and simple to follow.

Cons

Noterro management should improve the intake forms by adding more ways to create new intake forms and health history forms that meet licensing college association requirements. It would also help to have more choices and options available, while keeping everything simple enough to use for older users who are not very computer savvy.

Pros

Coming in with limited tech skills I was pleasantly surprised by how simple the setup was. There's also a ton of help available whenever questions or concerns come up and every issue I ran into was handled really quickly.

Cons

The only downside was realizing I had used my trial on the Max plan instead of the Base plan which is actually a better fit for my small-town solo RMT clinic. I originally thought the Google Analytics feature would be useful but I'm not too concerned about not having it on the Base plan.

Getting doctor availability set up and booking appointments right on time for new patients and their accounts is very simple. The platform feels very user friendly overall and makes day-to-day scheduling simple to manage.

peace of mind with noterro

Pros

Running my clinic feels a lot less stressful with Noterro because it gives me the same features I love without costing an extra $30 a month. It's very user-friendly and I especially appreciate that they provide a dedicated phone number for automated calls like appointment reminders. On top of that, their support team is always quick and efficient whenever I need help which has been fantastic. I've tried other booking platforms before and those usually left me feeling overwhelmed but this one has been a relief to use.

snippet feature saves time and quick pay

Pros

Right from the start it felt simple and packed with just about everything I need. The snippet feature is a standout.. typing three letters can instantly drop in a full paragraph into my notes which saves a lot of time. Quick pay also makes it really convenient to document and charge while I'm on the go. Being able to create custom forms is another nice bonus. It also includes AI features although I haven't had a chance to try those yet.

Cons

One part that hasn't worked as well for me is the click-on-the-body-area image feature. It actually takes longer to finish notes when I need to edit the current visit. I may have been able to click something like the levator muscle and note the CT junction but I stopped experimenting with that tool. I'd also like to see access to more standard assessment forms.

Swift zoom booking

Pros

Overall it was a positive experience because I was able to book a Zoom appointment quickly and the customer service during that process was excellent.

Cons

The AI note-taking feature was disappointing because it didn't capture everything I said. My special tests and detailed findings were left out and it only produced a very general note. Because of that, I had to redo my notes which ended up taking more time instead of actually helping me save time on charting.

polished booking page

Pros

Compared with other booking apps Noterro lets me set up two different clinic locations which is really useful. It also allows me to add a clinic description on the booking page and that gives the page a more polished, professional look.

Cons

Clinical notes would be easier to review if notes from different dates appeared on the same screen, similar to how Cliniko handles it.

Running a new practice means keeping expenses under control and Noterro is a much more affordable option than Jane App.

Cons

At first I wasn't thrilled that it didn't include a built-in video platform. After looking into it though, I realized I could just use the video platform that comes with my Psychology Today subscription which I'm already paying for anyway. In the end, not having video integrated here may actually help me save even more money.

Pros

Running a massage therapy practice is much easier now because it brings everything into one place. It connects my business and external calendars, handles online booking, forms, reporting, invoicing and payment integrations so I'm not bouncing between different tools. The notification feature has also been really useful for catching things that might otherwise slip through the cracks, like client birthdays and similar reminders. On top of that, customer support has been fast and helpful anytime I've contacted them with questions or needed help resolving something.

Cons

There should be more flexibility in the client online booking web portal especially when it comes to the layout, features and overall look. Other than that I'm happy with the application.

One thing that really stands out is how quickly customer service responds whenever I reach out. The online notes have made pulling up records much simpler for me and the online booking feature has made managing appointments far more convenient than I expected.

Cons

There are still a couple of minor issues. On some browsers, typing can lag a bit and scrolling through points on the diagram isn't always very responsive. I'd also appreciate an option to add a second email address to one account so someone could book online with one email while receipts are sent to another, like when a child books their own appointment but the parent needs the receipt.

The scheduling system is simple to work with. The forms are well designed, simple to edit and practical to use. Whenever I run into a problem, the support team is outstanding and does an excellent job walking me through it.

Cons

One area that could be better is the layout of the scheduling system especially with more customization options. Another issue is that forms sent to new patients often end up in spam because they are automated so I have to remind patients to check their spam folder which is not the best first impression.

The only thing I'd like to see improved is email integration. Right now, Mailchimp is the only option available so it would be even better if the platform supported more email providers.
