“reliable support and simple workflow”
Pros
The customer service team is always available when needed. It handles my day-to-day work really well and has basically removed the need for a receptionist.
Cons
One thing that could be better is saving patient documents such as X-rays or lab results.

“thoughtful features and fast support”
Pros
Keeping my fingers crossed that Noterro continues to be as amazing as it has been. It really feels like the developer understands the needs of appointment-based businesses because just about every detail seems to have been carefully considered. Even better, he seems to genuinely listen to users and act on their suggestions. The response time is incredibly fast and it's clear the owner truly cares about delivering a high-quality product.
Cons
Honestly nothing comes to mind. It's freaking awesome. Just filling space.

“affordable setup, ongoing booking issues”
Pros
The pricing makes it a practical starting point, setup is simple and it works well across different platforms.
Cons
The trouble starts when new "updates" or "improvements" roll out because the site speed drops dramatically. Software updates also don't seem to take users' time zones into account very well. Being in New Zealand, updates often happen overnight in North America which means they land right in the middle of our workday just when we're trying to book clients into new appointments. The calendar and booking system is also inconsistent with session "wrap up time".. either it leaves that time off completely and books clients back to back or it adds too much of it and creates larger gaps between appointments even though every appointment type already has its own wrap-up time set at the admin level. On top of that, features that were promised 12 months ago still haven't been delivered and that's now affecting how we provide service in our business.

“affordable features and responsive support”
Pros
After trying two other clinic management platforms, Jane and Practice Perfect, Noterro has ended up being my clear favorite. It's very user-friendly, includes everything I need and costs only a fraction of what the others do. On top of that, the support has been fantastic. Any time I've run into a problem, their team has responded quickly and been very helpful.
Cons
There's only one thing I really miss from Practice Perfect and it's not a major issue: the contact log. That feature made it simple to record emails, phone calls, letters and similar interactions. Even with that missing, I still strongly prefer Noterro. Practice Perfect didn't let patients sign forms online, while Noterro does and that convenience matters much more to me than having a contact log.

“helpful reminders and charting”
Pros
The email customization is a nice touch and booking appointments is simple. Having charting built in is really useful too. The automatic email and text reminders are fantastic because I don't have to spend Sunday night reminding my Monday clients about their appointments. The system takes care of it for me.
Cons
I'd really like a smart scheduling option that books clients into times that keep my calendar as efficient as possible. For example, if I have openings at 9:00 and 10:30, the system currently shows every slot in between like 9:00, 9:15, 9:30, 9:45, 10:00, 10:15 and 10:30. If someone grabs 9:30, then I lose the chance to fit in the 10:30 appointment, assuming it's a one-hour session with a 30-minute break between clients. It would also be helpful to have bulk appointment emails. If someone books 9 future visits, I'd rather send one email listing all upcoming appointments instead of 9 separate messages. Another thing I'd like is an "Other History" section near the top of the chart notes for details that come up during appointments but don't really fit the intake form. One of the foot images in the SOAP notes is missing the dorsal view as well and that's an important one. A customizable SOAP notes tab for a COVID questionnaire with simple yes/no checkboxes would also be very useful and save paper. It would be nice too if I could create an invoice for a client directly from the dashboard and have it linked to the appointment.

“solid all-in-one practice tool”
Pros
Running my practice with Noterro has been pretty simple. It brings scheduling, invoicing and charting together in one place which makes day-to-day work much more manageable. Clients also seem to really enjoy the interface and the pricing feels fair for everything that's included.
Cons
There are still a few things that would make the platform better. It would help if completed intake forms and agreements could first go into a file so the user can decide which client they should be attached to, instead of having to open another client right away. Built-in messaging to customers for things like cancellations, rescheduling and similar tasks would also be useful. An in-app marketing or mass email feature would be a strong addition as well. It would also be helpful to have the ability to import client intakes and charting from affiliated clinics or other software.

“love the reminders and calendar”
Pros
One thing that really works well for me is being able to book massage clients and have automatic reminders go out by both SMS and email. I also rely on the storage feature to keep client forms that need written signatures which has been very useful. The newer calendar tools have been a big plus too especially being able to let a receptionist access my schedule. That part is probably my favorite.
Cons
A limitation that bothers me is not being able to schedule multiple people at the same time for something like a couples massage class unless I add another therapist. Another downside is that I still can't track packages when I sell them.

“affordable booking and admin win”
Pros
Running my practice with Noterro has been a relief. It covers everything I need, including SOAP notes, receipts, electronic intake forms, online booking and appointment reminders. The system is simple to use and whenever I've had a question, the support team has responded very quickly. It really cuts down the admin side of my job which is the part I dislike most and makes it fast and painless. On top of that, the pricing is very affordable.
Cons
something that bothers me is how multiple appointments for the same client are handled since they receive a separate email for each booking instead of having all appointments combined into one message. The infection prevention section in the SOAP notes also has too many unnecessary lines and boxes to check which makes it feel overly excessive. Another inconvenience is that when a client cancels and rebooks, the COVID screening form I set to go out with the reminder email does not carry over to the new appointment so I have to remove the old intake form and manually attach a new one to the rescheduled booking.

“reliable booking and billing”
Pros
Noterro has been incredibly reliable for keeping my practice running without interruptions. Clients can book either online or in person, complete intake forms online, receive reminders and pay invoices without any hassle. I need something affordable and glitch-free and Noterro goes beyond my expectations every single time.
Cons
Only areas where it feels a bit limited are the color-coding options and the lack of integration with an annual holiday calendar.

“simple scheduling time saver”
Pros
Running my practice is so much easier with this software when it comes to scheduling and keeping track of client appointments. The features were simple to adapt to the way I work and the amount of time it saves me along with the efficiency it adds is honestly hard to measure. I really appreciate that the team keeps listening to feedback and continues improving the platform. I've already recommended it to a lot of colleagues and would keep doing so. Navigation feels very natural, the layout is simple and everything seems designed with common sense. The tools I use regularly are easy to locate and the interface never feels cluttered or overwhelming. I'm genuinely looking forward to the new features they keep rolling out.
Cons
I'd still like to see more flexibility in the intake fields so they can be customized and edited more freely. There's also a bit of duplication in some of the checkbox fields but overall the necessary information is included and there are more than enough options to support just about any kind of practice.

“fantastic notes and support”
Pros
Using Noterro has been a really positive experience. The platform is very user-friendly, the SOAP notes are excellent and the client intake process is incredibly convenient since everything is automatically saved to the client profile. It sounds like a small thing but it makes a huge difference. They also roll out updates and new features on a regular basis. On top of that, their support team is very responsive by phone or email even with minor questions and they provide helpful videos and solutions.
Cons
The biggest downside right now is that there still isn't a therapist compensation feature which would save me from having therapists invoice me separately and from needing to double-check those invoices. It sounds like that feature may be added eventually but there's no timeline yet. Another smaller issue is that therapists' last names always appear and I'd prefer to have the option to hide them except on receipts.

“reliable updates for therapists”
Pros
I've been using Noterro, back when it was still called Soap Vault, for nearly six years now. Every year they roll out new features that actually support massage practices and reflect what therapists need. They've also consistently been very fast when it comes to fixing system issues or answering questions about how to use the platform.
Cons
One thing still missing is a Noterro app which would make client booking much faster and more convenient. At the moment, only one client can be booked into a single time slot. That becomes a real issue when scheduling couples massages because I can only enter one client's name to hold the appointment instead of adding multiple clients and sending each of them an intake form. I'm also only able to place the billing and appointment under one client which makes it harder to track past appointments or billing history for the other person. These would be really valuable areas for Noterro to improve.

“paperless and organized”
Pros
Switching to Noterro has made things much more efficient because it handles everything I need without paper. It saves me time, keeps all my information in one place and makes it simple to stay on top of income and client files. Another big plus is that if my computer stops working, I can quickly sign in from another phone, tablet or computer without installing anything. Being able to access files and manage appointments while I'm out is also really convenient.
Cons
Noterro has improved a lot over time and updates seem to happen regularly. There are still occasional small glitches but they usually get resolved eventually so it hasn't been a major concern. One feature I'd still love to have is the option to send mass emails to clients, like surveys or review requests, to collect feedback more easily.

“affordable booking platform”
Pros
After relying on paper forms and calendars for a long time and then moving over from MassageBook, I eventually ended up with Noterro and it's been a booking and intake platform I've genuinely loved using. One thing that really stands out is how responsive the customer service team is.. you can ask for features or suggest improvements and they actually listen and follow through. It's also very affordable for a small business which makes a big difference. On top of that, when glitches do come up, the company notices them and fixes them quickly. Overall I've been very happy with Noterro.
Cons
There are only a couple of downsides for me. Every now and then, the app freezes and needs to be reopened. I also wish there were a way to download my entire patient library, including all files and SOAP notes, in one click for backup because right now I have to download each patient individually.

Pros
Noterro gives my business everything needed to run a successful paperless massage therapy practice and I really appreciate the strong attention to HIPAA security.

“affordable updates and useful soap notes”
Pros
Ever since I subscribed to SoapVault, now Noterro, I've appreciated how often they roll out updates that improve the overall user experience. The pricing feels very reasonable and the SOAP note features are something I genuinely enjoy using.
Cons
I really wish Noterro had an option similar to MassageBook that prevents clients from booking appointments in a way that leaves big gaps in the day. For example, if I'm available from 9 to 7 and already have an appointment at 5, a client can still book at 9 which creates a huge block of unused time unless I happen to fill it. Because of that, I don't use the online booking feature.

“online booking upgrade looks fantastic”
Pros
The updated online booking feature looks fantastic and I really appreciate that I can now add more information there.
Cons
One thing I'd still like changed is the Covid section in the treatment notes. It was actually a nice surprise to see it included and it would be incredibly useful if the listed items could be customized. There are a few options in there that I never use, while a lot of the ones I need are missing. Since some of the Covid checks I do for every client aren't included, I still have to manually type my checklist into each client file to keep everything properly documented.

“reminders and reporting are excellent”
Pros
Huge time saver. It automatically sends text and email reminders, intake forms, COVID-19 prescreening forms and invoices by email so it handles almost everything for me. It also keeps track of all my payments and I can generate all kinds of reports whenever I need them.
Cons
I still haven't turned on online booking for clients because I don't think there's a cluster booking option. I don't want someone booking right in the middle of a three-hour opening and blocking me from fitting in more appointments. Aside from that, working with the schedule has been awesome.
