Cons
When importing images from other practices, it's crucial to see the imaging date immediately. While you can adjust the date, it's not visible unless you select "modify exam" and "set date."

The software integrates seamlessly with my existing practice software. It's simple to learn and use daily with patients. All my staff quickly learned its functions and use them daily. The image quality is comparable, if not better, than other major brands I've used over my twelve-year dental career. The initial investment has been well worth it, and I expect many more years of quality use.
Cons
Considering the competition, the software's cost is relatively high compared to major brands. However, I find it worth the investment due to its quality and functionality.

New employees can learn how to use it quickly. Editing and sending images is easy, with a variety of format options available. The images are clear and ideal for patient education.
Cons
I'd prefer the date header to display the date taken rather than the date of import. When we receive x-rays from different locations, the current setup requires hovering the mouse over the image to see the date taken.

We love the support, clarity, and reliability. SOTA stands behind their product and is always just a quick phone call away with no long waits.
Cons
While mostly reliable, we occasionally experience issues, possibly due to user error, resulting in lost exams. Fortunately, calling support has always led to successful recovery.

Once installed, it's easy to use and manage. The quality is excellent, and organizing and labeling are straightforward. My team is pleased with this investment.
Cons
The initial setup took some time and several calls to customer service. It initially didn't integrate well, but eventually, our computer specialist managed to configure it independently after our calls to customer service didn't resolve the issue. We're lucky to have such a capable tech.
