“Love the Tech”
Pros
We appreciate how SOTA cloud seamlessly integrates with our practice management software and operates on the cloud, making access to our patients' records smooth and convenient.
Cons
The measurement tool on SOTA is my only frustration with the software. Fortunately, when I reached out to support about this, they assured me they're already working on a solution!

“Still working to obtain quality imaging”
Pros
The support is fantastic, though having on-site assistance would be ideal as there can be challenges with remote support.
Cons
When importing images from other practices, it's crucial to see the imaging date immediately. While you can adjust the date, it's not visible unless you select "modify exam" and "set date."

“Good, not great, software”
Pros
It's fairly user-friendly, their sensors perform quite well, and the cameras are excellent.
Cons
Integrating into Dentrix was not seamless. However, if integration isn't a priority, the software itself is of high quality.

“Great Software but lacks stability”
Pros
The user interface stands out for its remarkable intuitiveness, offering effortless and rapid navigation through the system.
Cons
We've had stability concerns, such as random crashes and error messages indicating device detection issues. Also, the way patient image folders are organized makes it difficult to identify data during hardware failures.

“Great camera and software”
Pros
The initial setup proved to be simple and hassle-free, while day-to-day usage has remained uncomplicated. With a track record of over two years using this software, I can attest to its seamless integration with Dentrix, which enhances its utility and reliability in my practice.
Cons
I can't adjust the camera light, which is inconvenient for taking portrait shots for the chart. An on/off button for the light would be beneficial.

“I love this camera! It's easy to use and my photos are crystal clear. Good value for the money.”
Pros
This camera is easy to use and to teach others to use. The image clarity is excellent, and the price is very reasonable.
Cons
The only drawback I've found is the lack of a foot control option, which would be a nice addition.

“Great customer service.”
Pros
Customer service is excellent, and the software is easy to use. I appreciate its compatibility with tablets, and patients like its modern look.

“Good quality.”
Pros
It's easy to use and predictable, integrates smoothly with dental software, and includes features for image manipulation (such as magnification and rotation). You can annotate and make notes on images.
Cons
Updates are not always installed automatically or advertised. Occasionally, the quality of x-ray images is not optimal.

“I really like it. Does it's job well.”
Pros
The software integrates seamlessly with my existing practice software. It's simple to learn and use daily with patients. All my staff quickly learned its functions and use them daily. The image quality is comparable, if not better, than other major brands I've used over my twelve-year dental career. The initial investment has been well worth it, and I expect many more years of quality use.
Cons
Considering the competition, the software's cost is relatively high compared to major brands. However, I find it worth the investment due to its quality and functionality.

“The Sota Image Software has been a pleasure to use for over three years.”
Pros
New employees can learn how to use it quickly. Editing and sending images is easy, with a variety of format options available. The images are clear and ideal for patient education.
Cons
I'd prefer the date header to display the date taken rather than the date of import. When we receive x-rays from different locations, the current setup requires hovering the mouse over the image to see the date taken.

“Best imaging software out there”
Pros
We love the support, clarity, and reliability. SOTA stands behind their product and is always just a quick phone call away with no long waits.
Cons
While mostly reliable, we occasionally experience issues, possibly due to user error, resulting in lost exams. Fortunately, calling support has always led to successful recovery.

“Love it! Great investment for our office.”
Pros
SOTA is easy to use and learn. Patients appreciate seeing their images immediately. The sensors are reliable and durable, and accessories are readily available.
Cons
The server can be temperamental, we once ended up on a different network and had to re-import images. Occasionally, the system captures images with white noise.
