Poor Customer service

Pros

My experience with this software has been good, but I'm currently frustrated with the poor customer service.

Cons

I find the software itself good, but I've been really disappointed with the customer service lately. We've had ongoing issues for weeks now, and despite multiple emails and messages, there's been no response from Tab 32. I manage three other clinics, and this level of service makes me seriously consider switching away from Tab 32.

Hated Tab32 so much I paid for it for two years because I signed a contract used it for 2 months

Pros

I can't wait for my contract to end so I don't have to pay for this anymore. If I owned a company, I would prioritize resolving customer issues and wouldn't force anyone to stick with a product they're unhappy with, definitely not Tab32.

Cons

One of the worst things about Tab 32, where do I start? The x-ray quality is so poor and disorganized that I question their diagnostic value. On the bright side, the weekly updates are useful, although it feels like I'm beta testing rather than using a finished product. They really should refine their products before releasing them.

Don't be fooled!

Pros

The integration with our front office functions well for claims and such, but the quality of x-rays is really disappointing.

Cons

My experience maneuvering through the program was frustrating. It took far too many clicks to navigate where I needed to go. The x-rays were disappointingly low quality, and getting support took hours. Transitioning from patient to patient was also cumbersome. We gave it a solid three months, hoping it would improve, but it just didn't work out. The front office liked it, but everyone in the back office hated it.

Pros

The Future of Dentistry

Pros

Tab32 is constantly evolving and improving. They stand out as the only software that integrates everything: patient communication, charting, radiographs, online booking, and much more.

Cons

While they quickly address major bugs, the smaller ones sometimes take longer to fix after updates.

Pros

We rely on tab32 for all our office workflows. We can text patients, submit dental claims right after check-out, and manage everything from online booking and patient education to charting and treatment planning. It's an invaluable tool for running our office smoothly and caring for our patients.

Cons

Despite their extensive features, there are minimal third-party integrations.

Amazing For Dental Practice

Pros

It's amazing to have everything consolidated in one place. The software is intuitive and runs smoothly even on slower data speeds. Plus, their customer service is top-notch, always helpful and reliable.

Cons

I've noticed that the integrated payment system by Stripe charges higher fees than my bank's payment terminal. It's been a hassle training team members and adjusting to this learning curve, especially after using systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix.

tab32 review

Pros

Having everything accessible from anywhere is fantastic. The software is user-friendly and comprehensive, and it's great being able to communicate easily with our patients.

Cons

Some features are unnecessarily disorganized. It would have been better to emulate features from other EHRs that are more streamlined. For example, the chart notes are chaotic, just copying Open Dental would be an improvement. Billing is also overly complex, and while reports are easy to generate, the inability to compare data is frustrating. They could benefit from consulting more with dentists and billers to make these necessary changes. Also, they should develop a phone app, at least for doctors, to improve communication with patients.

Excellent Customer Service

Pros

Being cloud-based means no need for an IT company, excellent uptime, and superb customer service. I've personally received prompt responses from their support team.

Cons

Using cloud-based software involves a trade-off: it offers fewer advanced features compared to server-based products, but it comes with significant benefits.

Pros

I appreciate the customer support from the Tab 32 team and the ability to message patients directly through the software.

Cons

As a treatment coordinator, managing time effectively is crucial. The new update for inputting treatment plans has been overwhelming, especially with multiple options. I'm frustrated by the inability to filter codes to pull reports on provider production.

Amazing Product

Pros

Their customer service is exceptional, they're always ready to help with any issues. Plus, they regularly update the software based on user feedback, and the layout is intuitive and easy to learn.

Tab Review

Pros

This software is very easy to use. I like how it keeps all staff on the same page with the router slips for daily tasks and preferences for appointments.

Cons

There are a few features I wish the software had, such as easier management of cancellation lists and better visibility of patient appointment histories and insurance information without needing to navigate away from the appointment screen.

Pros

Tab32 is pretty smooth and accessible, making it easy to use.

Cons

I find the little orange box that appears when hovering over an appointment annoying. While it's useful, it often pops up unexpectedly when there's no appointment visible, forcing me to refresh the entire page to remove it. Also, I wish there was a way to search for patients by their preferred name.
