Although I personally have no complaints, therapists have expressed dissatisfaction with the notes not being tailored enough to speech and OT services.

From the client portal to intake forms, treatment plans, and billing support, TheraNest has been a reliable tool for the past four years. The improvement in customer service has been noticeable since I first started using it.

Cons

Limitations on charging for multiple copays per client result in flagged transactions. A workaround is needed to bypass this restriction.

Pros

I like having everything in one place. I can keep track of appointments on the go, manage client records, send statements and even track balances all from one system. The templates are customizable, which keeps everything looking professional and organized. Most of the fields are also editable which makes it easy to adjust pricing and balances.

Cons

I still have to use QuickBooks to manage my business expenses since that's not something Theranest is really designed to handle which is fine but it would be nice to have everything in one place.

It's super easy to use and I love having all my clients info right at my fingertips. The client portal keeps everything safe and accessible.

Cons

I wish I could easily see all of our prospective clients information without having to keep scrolling over.

This software is simple to use and has a variety of features. The Wiley Treatment Plan function is fantastic. So far, Ive had a fantastic experience. Im excited about the telehealth function theyre putting in place.

Coming from a paper file-only environment after 20 years as a therapist, I appreciate how user-friendly Theranest is, even at over 70 years old. Its ease of use is the key takeaway for me.

Cons

Adding new information post-note signing is cumbersome. Inserting additional documents like subpoenas or emails is currently not supported.

I only wish I could tweak some of the drop-down menus to include more details.

I can not praise enough how the Calendar and Patient Scheduling feature streamlines appointment tracking. The Reminder Call feature is a lifesaver, and the Patient Portal has made bill handling for my clients a breeze, resulting in faster payments.

Cons

I can't find anything to dislike. No complaints at all.
