“Well-designed software”
Pros
Everything feels laid out in the right place so using the interface is very simple. The way the information is organized and presented is thoughtfully designed.
Cons
At this point, I really don't have any complaints. The software feels well built and gives me everything I need right now.

“simple once it clicks”
Pros
It takes a bit of time to learn at the beginning but once you understand the basics, it becomes very simple to operate.
Cons
There's a small learning curve at first and it can take a little while to fully understand but after that it's very simple to use. I'd recommend it.

“Fantastic charting system”
Pros
The therapist charting tools are simple to use and make daily documentation much more efficient. Notes are faster to complete which saves time and helps the overall workflow run better every day.
Cons
A recurring problem is that the system freezes whenever I use the built-in therapy grading scales, including GAD-7 and PHQ-9. That interruption breaks up the workflow and ends up wasting time.

“Well laid out”
Pros
Everything feels well laid out so getting around the platform doesn't take much effort. The task-based links are a big help because they take you right where you need to go without wasting time clicking around. The calendar tools are useful and make scheduling much more efficient and the notes area is clean and organized which makes it simple to document and look back on important details.
Cons
invoicing feature could be better especially with adding more flexible time frame options to support different billing needs.

“Solid first EHR for practice”
Pros
When I began my practice, it turned out to be a solid EHR. I had already spent a few years using TN as an employee so switching over to the provider side felt like a very natural transition.
Cons
A few years ago, moving between screens in TN could feel a bit clunky. It also really requires proper training to make full use of all its features.

“Responsive staff”
Pros
Using it has been very simple and the support team is responsive, available and genuinely helpful whenever needed.
Cons
There's honestly very little to complain about. If I had to point to one thing, I'd really like to see more options in the intervention section of the treatment planning area.

“feels secure”
Pros
It made documenting client sessions quick and simple which I really appreciated. I also felt confident relying on the platform when it came to keeping sessions confidential and secure.
Cons
Overall I didn't run into any major problems with it. The only real issue came during the transition to Ensora, when some very important notes seemed to disappear, including older treatment plans and documents from 2021-2022. I contacted the Ensora support team but they weren't able to figure out what happened and those notes are still missing.

“Everything in one place”
Pros
Everything feels well organized and every item has its own place. It makes my work much simpler when I can click into one section and have everything I need right there.
Cons
At times, my drafts don't auto-save which can be stressful when it happens. I really wish it would save consistently every time.

“useful info”
Pros
Getting around the platform feels very convenient and it provides a lot of helpful information. Managing the upgrade process has also been simple although finding the calendar can be a bit difficult.
Cons
It hasn't been as productive for me as I expected because I'm still unable to link my appointments to my calendar.

“Workflow changes added extra steps”
Pros
Earlier versions worked really well for us because the system was simple to use. My office manager could quickly switch between the agenda view and a therapist's individual calendar when setting appointments.
Cons
Since the workflow changes, scheduling has become more complex. My office manager now has to open each person's calendar to look for an available time for the client, then return to the agenda and manually select every counselor again to see all appointments in one view. Before these updates, choosing a calendar didn't affect the agenda display. Now it adds extra steps for every single client and ends up taking more time.

“clean navigation”

It feels very simple and the recent updates have made important functions easier to locate. Overall the layout and flow work really well.
Cons

“User-friendly and convenient”
Pros
This tool has been really convenient especially with how busy my schedule usually is. The platform is very user-friendly and that makes a big difference when I need something quick and simple to work with.
Cons
One thing that could be improved is what happens after I finish updating a client. It takes me back to the main page that shows everyone's clients instead of only mine. I'd really prefer an option to keep my own client list visible at all times.

“Dependable solution”
Pros
I really appreciate that it's dependable and usually works without issues. That said the new layout feels a lot less user-friendly and it's been frustrating trying to locate things like the treatment plan and assessment since they seem to be placed in odd spots. I'd really like to see that improved.
Cons
Since the redesign, it doesn't feel as user friendly as it used to. Finding intake assessment forms and treatment plans feels awkward and harder to remember because of where they're located. I'm also frustrated that there's still no option to schedule a recurring telehealth appointment.

“polished interface”
Pros
The interface looks polished and is simple to handle. Most tasks only take a few steps so getting through a process usually feels pretty simple.
Cons
The telehealth feature has been glitchy in several ways. The biggest problem is when a client tries to connect a Bluetooth device like headphones since it hardly ever works.

“Professional staff”
Pros
Appointment scheduling, note-taking and assessments all work really well and the whole system feels user-friendly. The staff has also been enjoyable to work with and the overall workflow fits nicely into my day-to-day use.
Cons
I've genuinely enjoyed using it overall. The only adjustment was when the charts and notes were moved to the top of the page but I'm getting used to that change now.

“excellent value for money”
Pros
Getting started with it was simple for both therapists and therapy operations and it handles appointment scheduling, staff coordination and overall workflow really well. Compared with other EHRs out there, it has offered excellent value for the money.
Cons
On a few occasions, getting a clear and concise follow-up from customer support after calling in has been difficult. I've especially noticed this when trying to get answers about insurance claim questions.

“Worth every penny”
Pros
It has been well worth the cost. The customer support is excellent whenever an issue comes up and the platform is very user-friendly.

“frequent updates”
Pros
It's been really helpful having so many parts of the system tied together that would otherwise feel disconnected. Another plus is that the platform is updated and improved on a regular basis which shows they're continuing to invest in it.
Cons
Even after the scheduling process was redesigned, that's still the area I use the most and it continues to fall short in a lot of ways. Because of that, it ends up taking more time than it really should.

“clear scheduling and notes”
Pros
Working as an independent contractor, I'm not involved with billing, insurance, staffing or workflow so I can only speak from the therapist side. From that perspective, the system is very simple to use and it's clear how to schedule sessions, reschedule them and create and write notes.
Cons
One area that could be clearer is the treatment plan section especially around target dates and whether the plan should be signed when it's first created or only after it's completed. I ended up testing it myself to figure out what worked and learned that signing it at the time of creation is acceptable.
