Pros

Before the company became Ensora Health, there was an option to request a refund for the unused portion of a plan. This was especially helpful for small businesses that needed to cancel their subscription before the plan period ended. Having the ability to recover payment for unused services provided a greater sense of fairness and flexibility. After the transition to Ensora Health, however, this option appears to have changed or become unavailable. It would be helpful if the company continued offering refunds for unused plan periods, particularly when customers cancel their subscriptions and no longer need the services they paid for.

Cons

The interface feels outdated, and the customer support experience has been disappointing. There also seems to be little consideration for small businesses. Even after canceling the plan, they may continue billing you, and the system does not allow you to remove the card on file. This means they can continue charging the card if you forget to cancel a separate subscription, even after you have canceled the main plan.

Pros

TheraNest by Ensora Health is a solid setup for client documentation. I really like the dropdown menus because they make it simple to add notes and keep everything organized as I work with different clients. The billing options are also nicely varied, even though I don't end up using them myself. Beyond that, the website feels thorough and like it's being improved regularly and the built-in features genuinely save time. Everything also feels secure, user-friendly and pretty simple overall.

I haven't run into any real problems with the features. Getting up to speed took a bit of time, mostly because I had to import a large number of clients at once but the workflow has gotten more simple as I've used it more. One potential enhancement would be adding the ability to dictate notes directly into TheraNest by Ensora Health.

I think this is pretty simple to use and the layout makes it quick to find what you need while you're working.

Scheduling appointments can get frustrating at times because the platform glitches and that interrupts the flow. I also haven't been able to figure out how to integrate AI into my progress notes. On top of that some parts feel tricky to navigate unless you have help understanding how the website works.

I genuinely appreciate that Theranest includes AI built right into the platform. It helps keep our AI tooling more secure because nothing has to leave the Theranest environment.

Creating electronic forms inside Theranest can be pretty challenging, like getting the forms set up and configured the way you want.

Built-in drop-down options help me knock out treatment plan entries much faster. Pricing also comes in at a very competitive level. Honestly, the customer service seems to justify the slightly higher cost.. support has been responsive and helpful whenever I needed it. Getting started was painless too: a support rep walked me through the main features during a Zoom onboarding session which made everything click quickly. I also like having the key tools bundled in one place for my private practice so I'm not juggling multiple systems.

Cons

Family members can't directly add their debit/credit card details to cover a loved one's co-pays. At the moment, the only workaround involves the family member gaining access to the client's full file which isn't ideal for privacy or convenience.

Pros

It has a really solid layout. Notes fit neatly into place and writing my entries feels clear and well organized. Submitting items also doesn't leave room for confusion.. everything guides me through what I need. The design is practical so when I spot something I want to change, editing is simple and doesn't feel stressful. Overall, it's impressive how smoothly everything clicks together while I'm using it.

The workflow for taking and managing notes is the part that seems to work best for me.

The AI feature is a real time-saver for my notes.. everything gets faster once I start using it. It also helps that I can view other people's schedules for my practice which makes communication and coordination much simpler when we're trying to align meeting times. On top of that, it's handy for spotting which office spaces are available. Setup was also simple and quick to get through.

I really like how modern it feels and how simple it is to get new therapists up to speed. I can manage appointments, create client profiles and upload documents all in one place so everything stays in Ensora. That means there's no need to print anything or manually fill out forms. The initial setup also felt pretty low-stress and overall Ensora comes across as a strong platform for this.

It could use a quick, simple training guide that shows new therapists how to navigate the platform based on the access level they've been given.

I find it has been great for keeping my mental health records in one organized place. I use it for progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, summaries and service documentation and it really helps me stay consistent with my documentation. It also makes it easier to save my work and monitor client goals and progress over time. I appreciate having everything available right at my fingertips instead of bouncing between multiple programs. The one-click navigation between sections makes it simple to pull up what I need for another form. Another helpful touch is that Adobe shows up when I need a client to sign something which manages that part of the process too.

The only snag I run into occasionally is the double-email situation.. if a client needs to be listed under two separate emails (like when one household member shares access for another family member), I can't reuse the same email address which gets a bit frustrating.

I really like how IT is laid out and the note tools feel very simple to use. The assessments stand out the most.. those built-in questionnaires, assessment evaluation and the different forms I can create for my agency make daily documentation a lot more organized. The screening tools and treatment plan options are genuinely useful and I especially appreciate that the Wiley treatment planner comes included, it's a strong addition to the package and I use it more than I expected. I also depend on the auto-save feature since it helps prevent lost work and it's not something I see in every platform.

There was a small adjustment to the time input.. now it requires entering the exact minute though we worked around it quickly. It used to be a simpler drop-down option and having that back (or something similar) would be more convenient.
