Great software for small Agency

Pros

Using this software at our small behavioral health agency has been a breeze for our team. It is so user-friendly that our employees have taken to it naturally. It's become an integral part of our daily operations, especially with its quick progress note completion feature.

Cons

I only wish I could tweak some of the drop-down menus to include more details.

Without Theranest I'd be lost

Pros

I can not praise enough how the Calendar and Patient Scheduling feature streamlines appointment tracking. The Reminder Call feature is a lifesaver, and the Patient Portal has made bill handling for my clients a breeze, resulting in faster payments.

Cons

I can't find anything to dislike. No complaints at all.

Top-notch!

Pros

This is a winner for me as it has everything that I need as a private practice psychotherapist. It is super easy and simple to use. It provides me with complete functionality for my work and enhances productivity.

Cons

Based on my experience so far, I have not found a negative aspect of this system. I hope it stays this way.

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT - The worst platform for Mental Health

Pros

there is not much to say beyond it being a basic platform, maybe even less impressive than others out there.

Cons

Constant connectivity issues make it embarrassing for clients when we can't access their data. The customer support team's responses seem indifferent, just copy-pasting messages.

All-inclusive and Easy to Use

Pros

It ticks all the boxes: easy to use, customizable, comprehensive, and constantly updated with new features.

Cons

I love even more customization options for the layout and wording on the initial diagnostic intake form, and the ability to auto-populate from forms completed via the client portal.

Terrible Bugs and Misrepresentation of Software

Pros

Despite its numerous bugs, the pricing structure based on clients rather than therapists is a plus for us.

Cons

Numerous bugs make daily software use challenging. Managed billing was a nightmare, causing $30k in outstanding claims. When we wanted to discontinue, they stopped responding and overcharged us for work we did ourselves.

Easy for a busy woman to use

Pros

Theranest has revolutionized my workflow, allowing me to focus more on clients and less on paperwork. The note-writing process is a breeze, thanks to the ability to copy from previous notes and make quick adjustments. Plus, having easy access to past notes and treatment plans is invaluable.

Cons

The software usually works fine, but once I had a technical issue labeling notes correctly. It was resolved within a week, with regular progress updates.

Exceptionally user friendly and great customer support.

Pros

Data entry has never been easier. I do not consider myself a technology expert but learning to use this software was not difficult at all. It is very user-friendly and there are a variety of different methods through which navigation on the site can be learned easily. Their customer support is incredible. I have tried another software as well, but I immediately shift back to TheraNest because of its ease of use. Very impressive work.

Cons

Up until now, I have not encountered any problems with this software. Yesterday when I did face a small issue regarding a rejected claim and reported it, it was resolved within a few hours and hence I can say without a doubt that they have a great support system. Kudos To you!

Pros

It is easy to grasp, but there are too many flaws. Billing is straightforward, but our experience with customer support wasn't helpful.

Cons

Customer service blamed my technology for issues, despite having new equipment and fast internet. Telehealth is unreliable, with problems across different browsers. Certain features like the initial assessment form are not editable, and it lacks compatibility with other telemedicine apps.

During my five years with this EHR, its simplicity stood out: easy scheduling, straightforward notes, and seamless claim submissions. The mobile app was a hit with clients, and the responsive customer service was a bonus.

Cons

Over time, Theranest went from great to poor due to slow customer service, issues with custom templates not integrating properly, unreliable telehealth, frequent fee raises, and questionable timing of fee increases during the pandemic.
