“Easy to use Platform
Pros
Veradigm software is not only simple and but easy to use. Yes it does lack extra features but it does what it is designed for. Also you might feel it is too basic at times but if ease of use is what you are lookinf for, you will really like it.
Cons
Customer support is quite poor as it is not easy to get in touch with the team and the response times for service tickets is never the same.

“Allscripts Pro PM
Pros
Setting up schedules for different providers is a breeze, and billing is straightforward and uncomplicated. Managing several providers is easy, and scheduling patients into the right time slots is hassle-free.
Cons
Occasionally, when sending out bills, we get errors about the patient's insurance relationship to the guarantor, even though it appears correct in the chart.

“Thorough Practice Management Software
Pros
The product is versatile, offering many features that cater to various specialties and practice requirements.
Cons
Like all systems, there are limitations based on the unique needs of each practice and patient demographics. Setting up the system involves many steps that must be completed in a specific order, making changes challenging.

“Allscripts Practice Management Review: Streamlining Administrative Tasks for Healthcare Providers
Pros
Allscripts Practice Management benefits medical practices by automating administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient registration, and billing, which boosts workflow efficiency and reduces manual errors. Its intuitive interface and customizable templates facilitate straightforward documentation and better communication among staff. The software integrates seamlessly with electronic health record (EHR) systems, enabling comprehensive patient care and information sharing. It also provides robust reporting and analytics features, offering valuable insights into patient demographics, revenue trends, and practice performance. Overall, it optimizes business processes for medical practices, enhancing productivity and financial outcomes.
Cons
Despite the advantages of Allscripts Practice Management, there are a few considerations. The implementation process can be difficult and time-consuming, requiring thorough training and support for staff. Users have sometimes noticed system hiccups and slow performance, especially with large data volumes. Limited customization options and specific process requirements might need extra development or integration work. Additionally, the cost structure could be a hurdle for small practices with tight budgets. However, the extensive practice management functionality and integration capabilities outweigh these drawbacks, making it a valuable tool for medical practices.

“Solid Software
Pros
Allscripts has significantly improved over the past decade, making certain features and reconciliation processes easy to navigate. The software is straightforward, which I appreciate in a comprehensive RCM solution. Additionally, its integration with other software simplifies use across different companies.
Cons
There are few downsides with Allscripts. It's great software for both clinicians and the administrative team.

“keep looking
Pros
It's an all-inclusive software package that handles insurance input, scheduling, payments, reporting, and billing.
Cons
Where to begin... this is an expensive program with annual cost increases of 3-5% for each component. Customer support is largely handled by call centers in India, making communication challenging. Reporting is lacking, only exporting in a dump file that you must copy and paste into something usable. Standard reports are basic totals, pie charts, or lists. Software updates usually cause problems and require IT involvement. I could go on look elsewhere, there are many programs offering much more for less cost.

“Usable, but very inefficient and non-intuitive
Pros
Information is accessible and readable, allowing me to place orders and perform tasks efficiently.
Cons
Redundant mouse clicks, frequent crashes, and a difficult-to-navigate interface (awkward filters, cumbersome visual layout, non-intuitive customization).

“Decent, but difficult
Pros
It is well-organized, appears professional, and has numerous features in a single window (scheduling, charting, etc.).
Cons
I can't have a charting document open and also switch back to the scheduling page within the same window; I have to open multiple separate windows.

“Veradigm - Allscripts Eprescribe Stand-alone Program - Great program for a small practice.
Pros
I like that we can see the medications prescribed to patients and when they were given. It allows us to pre-populate prescriptions for refills, eliminating the need to retype everything.
Cons
The phone app is practically useless. I have to use a browser on my phone to see patient prescription history and send prescriptions. I only use it in emergencies when I don't have access to a computer.

“Worked great for us!
Pros
I found this software simple to use and relatively easy to tailor to our practice's needs. It integrated smoothly with multiple providers across various departments and locations.
Cons
It's not very visually appealing. Scheduling could be improved with click-and-drag functionality and better tracking of who altered or canceled appointments. It only shows who scheduled and the last user to edit. We use a separate POS system since it lacks an integrated one, which would have been much easier.

“Great for Large Hospitals!
Pros
This software enables each provider to access patient records from all other providers, making it easy to view all of a patient's medical information in one place without calling other doctors. It also allows for simple edits to patient data when updates are needed. The scheduling features are excellent, updating scheduling and registration for the physician to see.
Cons
It can be difficult to learn due to its many features. There is also a lack of timely responses to customer service requests.

“One of the better EMR
Pros
The initials "bleerps" could be inserted anywhere. It is fully integrated with lab and radiology services.

“Allscripts is absolutely the worst EMR that I have worked with
Pros
It does not auto-populate information for exams I haven't conducted, like a cranial nerve exam. However, it doesn't really auto-populate anything.
Cons
I've used various EMRs like Epic, Cerner, Sunrise, EMA, and Office Ally. This EMR was not intuitive when I started using it about 1.5 years ago. A recent upgrade to the '184' version has made it even worse. As a surgeon, it took over 30 minutes to sign a consent form due to system issues. I can't sign consents while talking to patients; instead, I must follow a cumbersome process involving multiple signatures and finding a suitable computer. Additionally, I can't enter orders from off-site because the upgraded system doesn't display the complete order button. This EMR feels outdated.

“Cloud Servers down once again
Pros
The point-of-sale features were impressive, though the delivery of function was extremely challenged.
Cons
Every additional function, like MIPPS, Patient Portal, and EPCS, comes with extra charges, making it very expensive once all functionality is added. Allscripts billing is extremely complicated and frequently incorrect, often taking months to resolve issues.

“Buyers Beware
Pros
I realy like that I no longer have to search for paper charts.
Cons
The software is labor-intensive, requiring more personal time to complete an office visit. There are numerous screens to navigate before completing simple actions like reviewing patient medications. The system is confusing and not standardized, leading to complex navigation that results in the same outcome.

“Questionable business practices, go a different direction!
Pros
The software has decent reporting capabilities, and the scheduling module is flexible and can be configured in various ways.
Cons
Service is slow and poor. While reports are easy to run, they frequently don't reconcile because of unrecognized parameters. Billing errors on invoices take months to resolve, requiring significant management time to prove the errors.
