Easy and Helpful

Pros

This platform is user friendly for telehealth providers and most clients find it easy to use as well. Its great because it can be downloaded on many mobile devices. I also love the option to share my screen.

Cons

There have been occasional difficulties with the chat function but overall they are infrequent.

Decent app but expensive and download required

Pros

I am happy that once I add a client to the app they can simply sign in for each meeting. This is particularly useful for businesses with recurring meetings involving the same clients. It eliminates the need to send meeting links before each session. Additionally I like VSee adherence to HIPAA regulations.

Cons

I find it troublesome for clients to have to download the app before joining a meeting, especially for those who are not tech savvy. Some of my clients have even experienced trouble signing in prior to a meeting and had to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Secure HIPPA compliant Telehealth needs some improvement

Pros

I highly value the fact that VSee software is HIPAA compliant. I am grateful for all the assistance provided in enabling me to offer telehealth services to multiple individuals during this challenging period. The support team has been amazing and incredibly helpful to both me and my clients!

Cons

My clients find the onboarding process a bit hard. Long term clients have mentioned that the VSEE app was easier to use compared to the web based software I purchased. Clients like being able to access VSEE messages on the app which is not available after web based telehealth sessions. My teenage and child clients enjoy sharing music videos and I often share educational psychology videos like TED Talks and videos on emotional coping through platforms like Class Dojo. While screen sharing is possible the shared screen view is tiny, making it difficult for clients to read worksheets or watch videos I share. Additionally clients cannot hear the audio from the videos as VSEE only allows audio output from the client and provider. It would be very helpful if VSEE could address this issue and enable video audio. Many of my clients and I have YouTube channels where we create and want to share videos so please consider this for future sessions. Clients also like how Zoom offers video backgrounds for added privacy and it would be beneficial if VSEE could provide this option as well. Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback.

Excellent Software

Pros

When the pandemic hit I ventured into telemental health and I knew I needed a HIPAA compliant program. I recalled hearing about VSee during a continuing education workshop years ago. After researching several other platforms I ultimately chose VSee, and I am grateful I did. It is incredibly user friendly, providing a secure network for messaging and video conferencing. My clients love it particularly due to its simplicity. Sending appointment invitations the night before along with automated reminders, is effortless.

Cons

I have encountered a couple of cases where connecting with my clients posed a challenge. However the technical support team has been exceptional and promptly resolved the issue.

Pretty good

Pros

Setting it up in the beginning may not be the most easiest process and running it on Chromebooks can be challenging. There are hurdles to overcome when helping people get started for the first time. However the call quality surpasses that of similar software options and the free version is excellent. Once clients become familiar with it they find it easy to use.

Cons

Getting people set up and started is difficult especially for Chromebook users who don't receive much support.

Great service for teletherapy for counseling services

Pros

I mainly use the free version, and it works great most of the time. If there are any issues they typically are from my clients internet connectivity. I also like the ability to customize my window size which is helpful during techniques like brainspotting, allowing me to guide the clients trauma processing effectively.

Cons

Some clients have been unable to use it on certain Android phones or specific computer systems for unknown reasons. They have been unable to provide an accurate explanation for this issue.

LOVE VSEE FOR USE WITH MY CLIENTS

Pros

This software is incredibly user friendly. It is equally effortless for my clients to navigate.

Cons

It would be easy if the platform could store email addresses eliminating the need for an external list every time I invite a client to a session.

Good product

Pros

I can use the free version of this product and it is HIPAA compliant which is essential in my line of work.

Cons

I often encounter connectivity issues with this product. I am unsure if it is related to the software or the Wi Fi connection of my clients. Our own internet service is the fastest available.

Vsee Clinic Review

Pros

You don't need to download software for it to work. It uses the same link each time which avoids confusion for clients. It can be used on various devices. Clients can wait in the virtual waiting room until the session is ready and you can send them messages if needed.

Cons

Due to financial constraints caused by Covid I rely on the free service. It would be beneficial to have a whiteboard for client interactions and the ability to accommodate more than one participant. As I conduct couple and family sessions it is essential to support individuals in different locations. Since these features are unavailable in the free version I resort to using other platforms that may not have the same level of HIPAA security as Vsee Clinic.

Makes it easy to work from home

Pros

This product is highly reliable and has made working from home much easier than I anticipated.

Cons

Adding clients in different locations has been hard for me. For instance during marital counseling sessions with clients in separate locations, its difficult to admit both from the waiting room. This often results in one person experiencing audio issues, even if their video is visible.

Great Free Video that Meets HIPAA Requirements

Pros

VSee beats other free platforms in terms of video and audio quality. It even offers volume control. Using VSee allows me to use a high quality platform that adheres to HIPAA standards all without any cost.

Cons

I have been using VSee Messenger and for some reason, I have not been able to make VSee Clinic work for me. The Clinic version seems to offer more clinical features such as a call list. Instead of having a list of frequently called clients I end up sending them a link via text or email. However this is a minor issue for me.

Great Telehealth Platform!

Pros

I am delighted by the ease with which I can send a link to my clients allowing them to join without any codes or additional steps. The screen sharing feature is fantastic, enabling me to show relevant content during the sessions. Moreover it informs us about the status of each participants internet connection.

Cons

Sometimes the video and audio synchronization is off making it difficult to navigate. On other occasions the volume doesn't work even when the video does.

Made it easy

Pros

This was the first telehealth video platform we used after experimenting with Skype. I found the platform to be user friendly and I liked the offered BAA for security. Clinic is an updated cloud based version of the original VSee Messenger platform. As a nonprofit organization the free version has been sufficient for our needs since we had an existing scheduler. However I imagine the paid version with upgrades would be excellent for new users.

Cons

In the start there were some performance glitches but they improved over time. Additionally users had to download the VSee Messenger program to their computers originally but with Clinic, it is a cloud based link similar to Zoom.

ok product but needs work

Pros

I can see my clients on a platform that is HIPAA compliant.

Cons

The connection often cuts out causing difficulties for clients. It frequently switches from phone to laptop. Sometimes an issue arises and we have to switch to FaceTime. When prompted to update the software, clicking on the notification doesn't always work. Clients may leave momentarily and their video disappears, but their voice remains. It's challenging to get support assistance.

Review of VSEE

Pros

HIPAA compliance is very important and this platform does a commendable job in that regard. It operates smoothly even on limited bandwidth and the picture and sound quality remain impressive.

Cons

There is a lack of proper troubleshooting guidance when encountering issues with the platforms functionality. The internal instructions could be improved and certain aspects of the platform lack clear labels. Furthermore, it doesn't allow for multiple participants in a meeting.

Reliable Service

Pros

As someone in the field of Tele Behavioral Health, I chose VSee as my primary option since the US government has approved it under HIPAA regulations. The support team has been helpful whenever I required guidance. They regularly perform maintenance and promptly communicate any issues. My clients have had no trouble installing the app, and it has proven to be reliable. I appreciate their continuous efforts to enhance user-friendliness.

Cons

It could be more simple. Psychology Today's app for example is more user friendly. Given the pandemic it was initially hard for someone unfamiliar with computers to learn how to use VSee. The manuals should be written in a way that anyone can easily understand.
