This is a really well-built system for manufacturing. BoMs, process management, inventory and scheduling are all handled well and are easy to work with.

Cons

Setting up security is complicated and takes quite a bit of time. There are also many different people record types for separate roles like buyers, employees, workforce and planners, each with its own list that has to be configured.

The 2024 forms are a noticeable improvement compared with the classic ones.

Filtering when searching for data still isn't as user friendly as it is in SyteLine forms.

It comes with a wide range of integrations that let us tailor it to our business needs really well. We rely on it every day to move our products out to customers through our fulfillment center and shipping process.

Overall it's decent. We're mainly moving to it in hopes of getting better support which is really the biggest reason behind the change.

It's been a really good tool for tracking production and keeping up with job costing.

One thing that's been frustrating is how the UI/UX has changed over time. There are far more drop-downs now than there used to be and the interface used to feel much simpler and more user friendly. Basic things are harder to locate and buttons like Save, Delete and Print used to stay in the same spot but have since been moved around. It's also locked into a white theme now which is tough on the eyes especially since we used to be able to customize the color theme however we wanted.

The tool is capable of supporting just about any business scenario we need which makes it a very flexible system overall.

A few of the standard built-in features feel too tailored to specific industries and it would be better if they could be turned off at the company or site configuration level.

Well it is encouraging to see how forward-thinking the product is becoming. The addition of AI along with the move to a cloud based, browser-based setup, should remove a lot of the roadblocks when it comes to rolling out future updates.

My only concern is that my company is just beginning the move over to its platform so the transition to the browser still brings some uncertainty and hesitation.

One of the most useful parts is how transactions tie into Activity so you can view a quote alongside the related order, invoice and shipment without jumping around. I also really like how customizable the software is since it can be adapted to fit our specific business requirements.

Release information is not communicated well enough. It's often unclear what actually changed which processes are affected and which customizations might no longer be needed now that an issue has been addressed. I'd much rather see fewer minor releases if they came with clearer and more complete documentation.

A few modules feel less developed than others even when they seem like they should offer the same functionality for example, transfer order shipment entry compared with customer order shipment entry.
