The downside is that even though it offers a lot of flexibility, it can also seem complex and unforgiving at times. Certain errors are very hard to untangle and can take a lot of time to fix.

Support and help resources can be lacking at times. More often than not, I end up going to the EUG to find people who have run into the same issue and see how they resolved it. It's especially frustrating when the only response you get is that it's working as designed.

There are quite a few screens to navigate so we often build dashboards to bring information together and make workflows more efficient.

One thing we really like is how much you can expand the software's capabilities, whether you handle it internally or work with one of the many available VARs. Also it integrates very well to other software packages and even hardware, through REST integrations. On top of that the feature set is broad enough to support the needs of both smaller businesses and large companies.

ERP is meant to be enterprise software so it really should not be tucked away inside a browser and limited by the restrictions that come with a browser sandbox.

The web based design is one of the best parts of this product. I am really glad it works across multiple platforms and that flexibility makes it convenient to access from just about anywhere.

Since we're still fairly new to the system, one issue already stands out. They put a lot of emphasis on manufacturing and flexibility but engineering change control (ECO) really doesn't seem to exist and revision control just isn't there in the way most manufacturers would need it.

Pros

It brings everything together in one system and it does a really good job of tying in quality attributes for manufacturing. With DocStar added, the overall QMS setup feels well integrated too.

The accounting reporting side is still lacking. Basic reports like the Balance Sheet and Income Statement have to be built manually because they are not included in the standard report options.

At work I use it mainly for shipping products and helping drive demand and it really speeds things up. It does a good job of tracking ship dates and managing materials efficiently which makes the whole process easier to handle. The part I like most is that it keeps everything organized in one place so I am not constantly worrying about dates, jobs, serial numbers and other details. The initial setup also felt pretty simple.

Only downside is that I'd like access to more modules but adding them comes at an extra cost.

Well able to run our own queries and build dashboards without much hassle has been a big plus. The trackers and dashboards also give users strong visibility across the system which makes day to day work much easier to follow.

One thing that could be better is the inconsistent look between forms that are supposed to be similar. The table naming conventions can also be confusing and it's frustrating that the client still has to be used for certain tasks.

The way it's set up makes the system very user friendly and simple for end users to navigate and follow.
