Epicor Kinetic gives us a lot of flexibility which makes it possible to shape the system around the way our company actually operates. It has also been a fairly dependable tool for us and we're starting to make better use of it as the business continues to grow.

There are still some firm limitations that hold us back and from time to time we run into recurring bugs that can interrupt business operations. Another frustration is that on-premise customers seem to get less attention than cloud users.

There's good access to training materials and informational documents and Epicare has been helpful whenever support is needed.

The timekeeping side of the system is frustrating to use and doesn't feel very user friendly.

I noticed there's a lot of strong functionality here for managing inventory, purchasing and sales and it all ties together nicely with the GL for publishing financials. The integration with the shop floor is also a big plus especially for time entry and tracking labor against specific jobs.

Well the part size UOM still isn't powerful enough to support our material sizing needs so we had to get a customization developed. Unfortunately that's still an issue even in version 2024.1.
