“Useful email notifications

Pros

I really like that they send useful email notifications to users.. it keeps us informed without feeling spammy. The updates are always relevant and help me stay on top of things effortlessly.

Cons

There were several instances where I couldn't find facility staff email addresses which prevented me from sending recognitions to those people.

Atually I think this is an excellent way to encourage and motivate our employees. It makes recognition feel meaningful and keeps everyone engaged and appreciated.

Activating the card was tricky for me at first but I'll know how to do it next time.

When I can't be there in person I can still show my appreciation using it and that genuinely means a lot to me. Whether I'm working remotely or just tied up with other things I never have to miss an opportunity to recognize someone's effort. It helps me stay connected, boost morale and make people feel valued no matter where I am. That kind of flexibility and thoughtfulness really makes a difference in how I lead and support my team.

Pros

I've found it extremely easy to use. The way topics are organized into categories makes it quick to pick the right subject and I can apply it across the whole company whether that's giving recognition to peers, my manager or other teams.

Towards the end of the month I frequently get swamped with tasks which makes meeting the timelines difficult. It would be much better if the points accumulated so I could redeem them at any time throughout the year.

It's really simple to finish tasks and I can access the app on my phone whenever I need to throughout the day.

I can't really come up with any downsides. To me it's an excellent method for sending a quick positive message.

The NPS survey setup is pretty rigid and hard to tweak which ends up reducing how useful the feedback results actually are for our team.

Can't think of many negatives about it. If I had to pick one, it would be that sometimes I want to send recognition anonymously so others don't trace it back to me or the account that sent it. I frequently use the tool to share thanks and encouragement with coworkers and I find it pretty user-friendly.

It's a fun, unique way to share appreciation and kind words with coworkers.

I don't get reminder emails when I've left money sitting in my giving balance and with the end of the month coming up that can make me miss opportunities to share. The highlight emails they send feel too generic and only cover company-level info that I don't find relevant. If instead they sent custom messages about what's happening just with my immediate team, specific recognitions, nearby deadlines or fresh ways to spend the balance, I'd actually be nudged to interact with it far more often.

Sending a quick 'Thank you' or 'Shout out' to my co-workers is very simple and it really helps me acknowledge the support and assistance they've provided. I truly feel every employer ought to adopt it as their go-to recognition platform.
