As a long-time user, I've found it to be a fairly mature product and most of the problems I faced were quickly resolved with help from the community so I didn't have to wait on customer support.

I've noticed they no longer maintain older on-premise releases and these days the product is mainly offered as SaaS or via licensing models which tend to be a bit more expensive.

I've found the software really simple to roll out. It comes with built-in security controls and I find the reports easy to interpret.

Sometimes I think the graphical user interface needs improvement and entering records can be a bit slow and time-consuming.

It is extremely user-friendly and convenient to use. It's obvious Oracle invested effort to understand how people actually interact with the software and then reflected that insight in the interface design.

While I'm going through onboarding I find the whole process somewhat tedious although I understand it's required.

I spent ten years working with PeopleSoft as our accounting system. It handles virtually anything I throw at it. Reporting feels user-friendly, queries are extremely powerful, book-to-bank reconciliation is excellent and the workflow capabilities are fantastic.

The interface could definitely use a facelift, I find it looks fairly old-school. However I don't let that detract from its overall usefulness.

Because my company relies on a lot of Oracle applications, I'm really impressed by how smoothly PeopleSoft connects with the Oracle cloud. It makes moving data around the compute cloud simple and migrating datasets from testing and development environments up to the cloud is painless. I'm also able to push custom data into the Oracle cloud and spin up a variety of different clusters across our databases which is essential for our EPM.

Initially I wasn't a fan of the interface and it took some getting used to but from a pure design standpoint it feels practical and is actually quite user-friendly.

Some students struggle to use it and I wish the tutorials were presented more clearly and pushed out to students.

As someone who works with ERP and HRM tools, I find it to be an excellent solution. The cloud-based platform builds everything around employee information and I use it to handle a wide range of business needs. It's accessible to nearly anyone thanks to its simple interface so getting started wasn't a struggle for me. By entering different IDs I can pull up an employee and view all the records they've maintained while on my payroll in PeopleSoft. Honestly I respect Oracle products because I feel they focus heavily on the organization's long-term sustainability overall.

Cons

Although it isn't always a dealbreaker I often have to pause my work when tech staff step in to give support and that interruption can be really inconvenient. Also the simple design of the user interface feels dated to me and could use a refresh since its plainness tends to make using the system feel monotonous.
