Customizing the system takes a lot of time and effort and the way the information is presented isn't always easy to understand.

Being able to check monthly or yearly billable time summaries by client is probably the most useful part of it since it gives a clear view of the total hours booked throughout the year. Also it includes a comment field for each day's time entry which helps when adding the status of completed work along with the specific tasks handled.

Cons

It can be somewhat time-consuming to use. If there is a punch-in error, the system does not let you reset the punch-in time on the same day to correct it. On top of that having to enter the location every single day before submitting the timesheet feels a bit frustrating.

From the way our company had it configured I wouldn't call it the top HR solution as there are definitely superior alternatives. Still we rely on it as a global platform across the US, Canada and India. Since this was my first time working with it, compared with systems like SuccessFactors I personally found it somewhat more complex to handle. That said a lot of that complexity might come down to how our instance was set up rather than the software itself.

My main issue is reporting and updates as the process feels fiddly. For example if I try to upload backdated changes but there's already an entry with a later effective date, I have to remove that later line before the upload will go through. That makes routine updates more tedious than they should be.

It's a powerful platform that handles extremely large numbers of transactions without breaking a sweat.

The interface feels uninspired and disconnected from the way normal business transactions flow.

Using it feels quite easy. The site is very user-friendly and works across many devices without a hitch. I really like the animated icons, the clear step-by-step walkthroughs for enrolling in health benefits and the simple direct deposit setup process.

The system is fairly simple and since it runs on Oracle, it feels dependable too. The team also brings a lot of long-standing industry experience, having been around since well before HRMS became a common need which adds even more confidence in its reliability.

The user interface feels pretty outdated and really needs a refresh soon. On top of that users run into technical issues a bit too frequently especially when a large number of people are active on the platform at the same time.

PeopleSoft has been a reliable tool for handling both expense and time reporting. It helps us accurately record and track timesheets as well as expense details and our organization relies on it to monitor employee hours charged and submitted expenses. The system is very user friendly, effective for daily use and offers different ways to view the uploaded data. It also does a good job managing large volumes of information so it works well for small, mid sized and large companies alike. Customer support is available whenever needed and I use it every day at my firm for timesheet reporting without any trouble.

Every now and then server-related technical issues come up and prevent logins.

A big advantage is how much you can tailor it, from the appearance and data fields to exports and reports.
