“Requires too many clicks”
Pros
It performs really well when it comes to running reports.
Cons
I find the interface far from user-friendly and it often requires too many clicks just to complete a single function.

“One of the best eRP systems”
Pros
I consider it one of the top ERP systems because it lets me adjust the system exactly the way I want it. It comes with HCM, Finance and CRM all included so I have those core functions available within PeopleSoft.
Cons
Upgrading it costs me a lot and keeping the customizations maintained is a really painful and time-consuming process.

“Handles wide range of business tasks”
Pros
As someone who works with ERP and HRM tools, I find it to be an excellent solution. The cloud-based platform builds everything around employee information and I use it to handle a wide range of business needs. It's accessible to nearly anyone thanks to its simple interface so getting started wasn't a struggle for me. By entering different IDs I can pull up an employee and view all the records they've maintained while on my payroll in PeopleSoft. Honestly I respect Oracle products because I feel they focus heavily on the organization's long-term sustainability overall.
Cons
Although it isn't always a dealbreaker I often have to pause my work when tech staff step in to give support and that interruption can be really inconvenient. Also the simple design of the user interface feels dated to me and could use a refresh since its plainness tends to make using the system feel monotonous.

“Better than legacy but little buggy”
Pros
It's definitely a step up from the payroll system we had before although that bar was pretty low since we were coming from a very outdated legacy setup.
Cons
The switch to it came with a lot of bugs and glitches and it took our team months to work through them. On top of that fixing one problem often ended up creating new issues elsewhere.

“Helpful for reporting”
Pros
Helpful and user friendly. The direct processing and query feature makes it convenient to export reports right away.
Cons
It can be a bit lengthy and takes some time and separate query runs are needed for each report.

“Excellent employee data tracking”
Pros
Oracle PeopleSoft has been the best tool I have used for managing employee data. The interface is very user friendly so almost anyone can pick it up and understand how to use it. One feature I really like is being able to search for employees by Emp ID, full name, first name or last name. It's also very convenient that you can view an employee's history with just a single click.
Cons
At times changes don't get saved even after clicking the Save button.

“Top tier HCM and FSCM suite”
Pros
The tool remains one of the strongest ERP suites available today. Its HCM and FSCM modules are especially impressive and even with cloud migrations and newer software options in the market, they still stand out as some of the best out there.
Cons
PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM and CRM are highly flexible and customizable which is a big advantage. The part I'm not happy with is that the CRM module seems to have been pushed to the back burner. Even so, the CRM and BORM models in PeopleSoft are among the best.

“Powerful features!”
Pros
Everything I need is built in and the system is easy to use while still covering all the required functionality.
Cons
One limitation is that the same Chart of Accounts setup has to be used across all business units.

“Versatile program”
Pros
Such a versatile platform. I use it for accounting and my whole company depends on it, from payroll to HR recruiters and, more.
Cons
Whenever they add new modules it often takes quite some time to make them function correctly because the system is so large.

“Brings everything under one roof”
Pros
I really like having one consolidated place for HR and benefit details. It lets me easily enroll in benefits, check my pay stubs and handle HR-related responsibilities with confidence.
Cons
While some of the UX feels a bit outdated, it doesn't affect my ability to use it.

“support issues get resolved quickly”
Pros
I can quickly connect with my company's internal IT team so support problems get fixed fast and smoothly. What I appreciate most is being able to file tickets and keep track of them so I always know the status when issues come up.
Cons
I find the overall interface a little too flat and lacking excitement or visual appeal.

“Reliable purchase order tracking”
Pros
Oracle PeopleSoft comes with good tools and features for looking up pending and approved purchase orders and it also does a good job of showing where items are sitting in the approval chain or queue.
Cons
The tool is dated in terms of design and overall user experience. The page flow, workflows and screen layouts can be confusing and not especially user friendly so the product would benefit from more innovation and broader improvements overall.

“Dependable employee data tracking”
Pros
Handling large volumes of employee information is easy and the system does a good job of keeping everything organized and trackable. There are plenty of reporting and data extraction options available which is really helpful when you need to pull specific information. It also works well for maintaining job code and position data.
Cons
Its interface doesn't feel very modern or especially user friendly. At times it honestly seems like you're using software that was built decades ago. And while having a lot of reporting choices is useful, locating the exact report you need can still feel confusing and a bit overwhelming.

“Centralized employee records done right”
Pros
It's built to handle a wide range of business needs in one centralized place, with everything organized systematically around each employee's individual record.
Cons
Up to this point I haven't run into anything about it that I dislike.

“could be better”
Pros
Handling employee information is where it works well for me. It includes most of the features I need and the information available is helpful. The permissions can be frustrating at times but the data itself is amazing.
Cons
The permission settings can be annoying because they sometimes restrict what you're able to do. The interface also look complex especially when moving between lookups which makes navigation less pleasant.

“Not good always”
Pros
It has been around for a long time and handles the core HR needs well. It stores a wide range of fields for HR records management and the reporting is flexible since virtually any data entered into the system can be pulled back out in a report. It can be a more attractive option for small to mid-sized companies from a pricing standpoint but it's worth keeping in mind that after implementation, it still needs a fair amount of internal HRIS and IT support for maintenance and customization.
Cons
Reporting in it is not always very user friendly. Our HR team regularly had to depend on HRIS staff for help which slowed things down and was not very efficient. The system also lacks a more modern GUI and that would make it much more user friendly and more appealing for non-HR business managers who are expected to use it for self-service tasks.

“Powerful all in one platform”
Pros
PeopleSoft does an excellent job of bringing multiple legacy systems together into one solution that can also connect with end users on their smart devices. Other products may handle some of the same functions but none of them seem to cover the full range of tasks that PeopleSoft can manage.
Cons
The standard user interface is not the most visually attractive.
