When all is said and done I find that it actually delivers on what it promises so I suppose that's a definite plus.

It is far from the most attractive or user-friendly system I've dealt with and it can easily demand a lot of clicks before I finally figure out where to go.

As a long-time user, I've found it to be a fairly mature product and most of the problems I faced were quickly resolved with help from the community so I didn't have to wait on customer support.

I've noticed they no longer maintain older on-premise releases and these days the product is mainly offered as SaaS or via licensing models which tend to be a bit more expensive.

Being on the road often for business development, I rely on this application quite a bit in my current organization. It really helps me keep track of my expenses and submit reimbursement claims without much trouble.

My only issue is that the process takes too much time. Even when the expenses are related, I still have to submit them separately and that makes the whole reimbursement process feel unnecessarily time-consuming.

The software can be customized and configured to match our specific requirements which makes it fit our processes much better.

Getting a reasonable response from support can be difficult and take a lot of time. Keeping the software on current releases is also hard when there are many customizations although Oracle has added some new features that help. Still, upgrades involving customizations need to be simplified further.

I've found the software really simple to roll out. It comes with built-in security controls and I find the reports easy to interpret.

Sometimes I think the graphical user interface needs improvement and entering records can be a bit slow and time-consuming.

I spent ten years working with PeopleSoft as our accounting system. It handles virtually anything I throw at it. Reporting feels user-friendly, queries are extremely powerful, book-to-bank reconciliation is excellent and the workflow capabilities are fantastic.

The interface could definitely use a facelift, I find it looks fairly old-school. However I don't let that detract from its overall usefulness.

Working in it is pretty easy, with customizable fields and an interface that's simple to navigate. It's user friendly overall and comes across as a bit easier to use than SAP.

Switching menus means moving from one window to another which can be a little inconvenient. Still, it works well enough when you want to keep different types of tasks separated.

Because my company relies on a lot of Oracle applications, I'm really impressed by how smoothly PeopleSoft connects with the Oracle cloud. It makes moving data around the compute cloud simple and migrating datasets from testing and development environments up to the cloud is painless. I'm also able to push custom data into the Oracle cloud and spin up a variety of different clusters across our databases which is essential for our EPM.

Initially I wasn't a fan of the interface and it took some getting used to but from a pure design standpoint it feels practical and is actually quite user-friendly.

Almost everything else is a downside. The system seems bulky and is not user friendly at all.

I find it accessible and easy to use and it really supports collaboration. It gives our students ready access to their information and lets me review and resolve issues efficiently.

Some students struggle to use it and I wish the tutorials were presented more clearly and pushed out to students.
