One of the strongest parts of it is how flexible the planning and forecasting features are. Accessing data is quick and easy and sharing it with the team or assigning tasks is very easy.

Cons

There are moments when the system loses connection to the server and freezes but it seems like this will likely be fixed in newer updates.

It's very user friendly and getting comfortable with it doesn't take long at all. Learning the system and becoming proficient is pretty easy and the reporting is also excellent.

One frustration was that the servers went down quite a few times and that would end up costing me anywhere from 1 to 3 hours of productivity.

One of the biggest advantages of Microsoft Dynamics is how well it works with the Office suite. That connection has helped boost both productivity and profitability in my day to day work. It also includes analytics and reporting tools that are very useful for forecasting along with features that let me track the inputs and outputs of the projects I manage. It has also made it much simpler to gather requirements from clients and supplier partners which has helped me build a really good workflow for my business. On top of that it gives me a practical way to onboard new clients, store their information and pull it up quickly whenever I need it.

Cons

The downside is definitely the cost because it is expensive. Another issue is that syncing with other platforms can be difficult. In my opinion, it should be more open and flexible so it can interact better with other software.

Pros

The standout benefit is the navigation and efficiency. Being able to jump from one section to another just by following the data makes everything feel much more connected. Real time updates on any entered function are also a big plus. On top of that the option to personalize the display interface makes the overall experience far more comfortable and user friendly.

Cons

As per me only thing that could be better is the Italian translation of certain labels and column headings. Before working with a software consulting company that helped us with implementation and customization in some areas, we were a bit concerned.

It's a full featured and decent ERP that gives you the flexibility to get started and work around your BI needs.

The product isn't very user friendly. There are still several gaps like having to redesign reports whenever we add a new chart of accounts. You also can't generate consolidated AR and AP reports. Microsoft really needs to put more effort into improving it and making it more competitive because I can see us eventually moving to another system.

Downloading reports to Excel isn't very clean or simple. The AP section feels overly complicated and there are system glitches along with missing basic details such as totals not being included in reports.

The interface is user friendly and there are plenty of customization options available to fit the specific needs of different businesses.

The customization side can get quite complicated and usually takes a strong level of technical knowledge which makes changes unrealistic for non-technical users. Connecting it with third-party systems can also be challenging and certain features may require extra customization or development work. Pricing may be a concern for smaller businesses as costs can rise quickly when adding more users or extra services.
