“Really cool features!”
Pros
The support for the manufacturing floor is excellent. It consolidates setup information, tool usage, and process development, facilitating clear communication on the shop floor.
Cons
Managing tool inventory from a shop-owned vending supply versus ordering tools for specific jobs is tricky. We have not yet found the best way to track tools we have already purchased in a vending system and connect that cost to jobs on the spot.

“Accurate real-time data across modules”
Pros
I'm really impressed by how the different modules cooperate to deliver the most accurate information possible in real time.

Cross-module queries are hard to perform unless I export results into Excel, which makes me spend extra time.

“Great once you get the hang of it”
Pros
The best part of ProShop ERP is that it was created by machinists for machinists. The workflow is continuous, with each stage interconnected through hyperlinks, from estimating to quoting, customer purchase orders, part creation, work orders, purchase orders for materials, and invoicing. Machinists and programmers receive everything they need, such as unlimited setup data, including spaces for photos and videos, tool lists, fixture numbers, and GCODE in part folders. It also includes sequence details, operation descriptions, part development for feedback, and in-process inspection lists. The scheduling can be easily adjusted in real-time with drag-and-drop features. Despite its extensive capabilities, we can choose to use only the features we need at any time, such as creating a simple work order for a quick job without excessive data entry. The cloud-based database at the core of ProShop is powerful, we have not experienced any outages or data loss. ProShop ERP offers much more than I anticipated, including HR features for tracking skills and training. Users can create training requirements and monitor completion, while securely storing GCODE, CAD/CAM data, and other documents.
Cons
GUI is not very attractive. The graphics are not used much, resulting in a text-heavy interface. The reports are not intuitive for me, but my colleague has become skilled at using the Query System for custom reports. The learning curve for our business was very steep because we implemented ISO 9001, paperless/cloud computing, time tracking, and ProShop ERP all at once. The adjustment to working together as a team to collect data for costing and scheduling was a bit uncomfortable. Also, it is quite expensive, representing a significant long-term commitment.

“Good option for small businesses”
Pros
It is really capable and as per their company's strategy they do emphasize upon innovation driven by customer, at least this has been my experience so far.
Cons
Moving from a different ERP system is always difficult, which means that the implementation process takes a lot of time. However, I want to highlight that ProShop's implementation team is really good, and overall, the process has been quite smooth for us.

“Delivers everything i need”
Pros
What I like most about ProShop is its ease of use. It was specifically designed for machine shops, making all processes easy to understand. It provides 99% of what I need to manage my business from both the (QMS) and ERP perspectives in a single package.
Cons
I would really like to see ProShop add a built-in CRM feature.

“A very-well designed product”
Pros
The built-in quality management system functions exceptionally well and adds significant value to our business operations.
Cons
There are some features that are specific to Australia that I feel are missing. Specifically, I think it is important to add support for multiple currencies.

“Did not disappoint”
Pros
Using the software is very easy and efficient. I have often shown it to colleagues, and they were surprised at how quickly I could get to different screens. Everything is connected, so I do not have to jump between different programs, file types, or locations to handle estimates, quotes, orders, manufacturing procedures, inspections, quality documents, and tasks.
Cons
I have found it quite difficult to connect ProShop with QuickBooks.

“It completely changed the game for us”
Pros
ProShop is the all-in-one solution for a machine shop. It has transformed our operations, allowing us to go paperless on the shop floor, with everything accessible at any time and from any location.
Cons
I often think about how our shop should have started using ProShop much earlier than we did.

“Happy to have switched to this”
Pros
The web interface represents the most significant improvement over our previous system, while the quick navigation and customization options are a close second.
Cons
Since I am red/green color blind, I find that some of the colors used in the software are very similar, which makes it hard for me to tell them apart. I believe they will find a way to fix this issue for me, even though it may seem small to most people.

“Impressed by its features”
Pros
The links between quality standards, manuals, tasks, and training are well-organized. Document control is very beneficial, along with an equipment list for tracking maintenance and calibration.
Cons
The software needs a lot of updates to handle various needs, from machining to wire harness needs. Right now, we cannot connect our requests for quotes from our website into ProShop, so we have to enter them by hand.

Pros
The software encompasses everything we need. We have been able to implement improvements throughout the company by utilizing the various features and modules in ProShop. The ability to link different elements for quick access to information is a major advantage in our fast-paced job shop.
Cons
Honestly, there is very little that I dislike about ProShop.

“Its a work essential for us”
Pros
I love how related documents pull information forward and automatically fill in relevant fields. This feature is a huge time saver.
Cons
I would love to see a "Print Traveler" feature added to the work orders. While the box labels are useful, having a nicely formatted traveler would look much more professional.

“Best system”
Pros
We switched from using a lot of customized spreadsheets and whiteboards to ProShop. I have worked professionally with ERP packages, including SAP and Oracle, as well as mid-range ERPs, and I can honestly say that ProShop is the best I have ever used. We thoroughly reviewed all available options, and nothing matched ProShop's features and ease of use during demonstrations. It is straightforward, and our team adapted to it quickly. I cannot imagine running our business without it. We implemented ProShop and achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for the first time in just six months, which would not have been possible without this software. From estimating new parts to invoicing, ProShop performs exceptionally well in all areas, and everything is easy to find because the data is linked. We use tailored estimating templates to create accurate estimates faster than before, and moving from an estimate to a quote takes only a few clicks. When a customer purchase order comes in, creating a work order is just a couple more clicks, and the same goes for making packing lists and invoices from the work order.
Cons
I cannot think of any downsides at all. I would make the same choice to implement ProShop again without any hesitation, as it has completely changed our business by allowing us to do three times the amount of work with the same number of staff.

“A catalyst for our growth!”
Pros
ProShop serves as the foundation for our company. From the very beginning, RXI implemented ProShop to help us achieve and maintain ISO 9000, AS9100, and ISO 13485 certification standards. The way ProShop supports our business is definitely a competitive advantage, allowing us to know exactly what it will cost to produce a customer's product and enabling us to determine our pricing strategy based on various factors. Ultimately, we can assess how well we performed.
Cons
It would definitely be nice to have a built-in CRM feature.

“One of the best options out there”
Pros
ProShop is an all-in-one ERP system designed for production machine shops. It provides great features for order processing, inventory management, scheduling, quality management, production control, and fulfillment, all in a paperless setup. The support is excellent, the training is detailed, and the support team is always ready to listen and usually helps find a solution when problems come up.
Cons
Although ProShop is not hard to use, it still requires a lot of time and training, just like any other ERP system.

“Good for nothing”
Pros
The software includes many features, but some can be challenging to use.
Cons
Implementing ProShop can be difficult. It is not as easy to use as I expected. Since we bought it 18 months ago, the support has gotten much worse. Simple tasks often take way too long to finish. Training new employees can be very time-consuming and frustrating for everyone involved. Also, I find the help menu to be nearly useless, and the software has many glitches that I have had to learn to deal with.
