Pros
This tool has allowed me to go completely paperless. I can build custom queries for nearly any report I need when there isn't a premade option. As a result, I no longer have to waste 10+ hours each week hunting down physical travelers.
Cons
Honestly, there isn't much I dislike, the few features I'm not fond of are already planned for future updates.

Pros
One of my favorite parts of the software is definitely the QMS module and I also really appreciate how the parts and work order modules are designed to display interactive 3D models while letting me upload photos directly to items and orders.
Cons
Getting the system integrated, from purchase to day-to-day use, has been the toughest part for me.

I've found the initial barrier to entry and the learning curve pretty gentle and overall it covers our business requirements for the most part.
Cons
On the downside, I need multi-dimensional tags, splitting work orders feels odd, and I find the QuickBooks Proxy could be more reliable.

After I get all of our data loaded into the system, I find that keeping tabs on production and managing inventory becomes a lot simpler and far less time-consuming.
Cons
A lot of manual frontloading was required on our side, which made me feel like I had to put in excessive upfront effort just to configure templates and set everything up.

Pros
My favorite aspect of this tool is the team. Everyone I've interacted with knows the product inside out and genuinely wants to support our industry. Equally important, I appreciate that the platform serves as a complete, proven digital management system for our shop. I can see this system delivering real value to our business by steering us toward stronger processes and procedures which in turn lowers the risk we pose to our customer.
Cons
Although the training is excellent, I find it takes significant time and practice for me to become fully proficient with the system.

One thing I really appreciate is how thoroughly it integrates ERP, QMS and MRP without any hiccups or awkward handoffs between modules. More than once I've paused, thought 'It would be great if this tool did such-and-such...' and then I dig through the menus and discover that the exact feature I had in mind was already built into the system. That constant sense of finding what I need without extra plugins or workarounds is honestly impressive.
Cons
With so many features, I worry about overlooking something valuable, and I feel I need to carefully align and optimize my workflows to avoid missing useful simplifications.

Pros
With this software I can oversee virtually every part of my business from a single platform. It's easy to show staff how it works and get them trained quickly. Since we put it in place, our company has expanded markedly. It's enabled us to accept more jobs, tackle harder projects and still keep our overhead at the same level. The layout is tidy and well-structured and it generates considerable efficiencies, especially in our non-manufacturing functions.
Cons
Some menus are deep with multiple paths to the same place, but I manage to navigate them and I appreciate the flexibility even if others don't.

The software is easy to use, with thorough training readily available. The support team is exceptional, no issue is too small or large for them to address and I can manage the business remotely from anywhere in the world. A significant advantage is that everything I need is included, I do not have to keep purchasing additional modules for routine tasks.
Cons
It takes some time to learn the system, so I believe it is important to be prepared for about six months of challenges, unless you have an experienced user to help you, which can make a significant difference. Other than that, I do not really have any dislikes because my previous concerns have turned into positives now that I have a better understanding of how things work, which helps in everything I do.

Cons
I wish there was a way to email customers or employees directly from ProShop. Sometimes, it feels a bit focused on machine shop needs, which means I have to find alternative methods if I am not operating a machine shop. Integrating it with financial software was somewhat complicated.

There are so many aspects of ProShop that we like, but if I had to highlight a few, I would emphasize our love for the data. The implementation process was seamless, and our team adapted quickly. Also, the ProShop dashboards throughout our facility help align our employees' efforts. Notably, our on-time delivery rate improved by 17% in the first three months of using ProShop.
Cons
The most challenging part of integrating this software with our existing business was figuring out how to make it work for us. However, once we realized that it was better for us to adjust to ProShop rather than expecting ProShop to change for us, implementing the software became much smoother.

Everything is traceable! From purchase orders to work orders, personnel, machines, consumables, and gauges, we can track everything, even the smallest details. This capability is invaluable when investigating any issues, as the data is accessible with just a few clicks. Once set up, it is easy to maintain, and having all data in the cloud allows for convenient access from various devices. The support team is outstanding; they provide quick answers to questions, and their expertise is evident. I have consistently found them knowledgeable and responsive, and they truly believe in their product, offering excellent support for any issues that arise.
Cons
The training provided to get started was just enough for me to begin using the system. Most of this training focused on the higher-level users since they would be the ones handling purchase orders, work orders, scheduling, and so on. The training sessions we had were spread out over several online meetings, which prepared us for the basics. However, after we started using the software, I frequently reached out to my representative for help during the first few months (Thanks for all your help!). The training given to the shop floor staff was only one day, which left them with more questions than answers. Once I became more comfortable with the system, which took only a few months, I was able to create specific training for our floor personnel so they could understand the details of ProShop and how their contributions affected the system. Now, in our third year, we have shop floor leaders who train new staff and can explain how and why everything functions as it does.
