“A powerful, user-friendly platform!
Pros
This tool works perfectly!! The setup process was very simple, it is also pretty easy to figure out and it gets running in no time. We can also link it up with our marketing tools and Facebook account without any hassle.
Cons
It would be amazing if someone could guide us through the marketing side of things on the platform, to show us how to really make our events successful.

“Really easy for creating & managing events
Pros
Creating a new event or adding more dates to an existing one is really easy. And if you have never set up events online before don't worry as this platform is simple to use and not scary at all.
Cons
My main issue is that for events with multiple dates, you have to check each one separately to see the ticket sales. I really wish it would at least show the numbers for the next date on the main list.

“Simple purchase steps
Pros
Getting around the website and going through the purchase steps is simple. Also the email alerts come through right away and for the person running the event, the price is really reasonable for what we get.
Cons
The support team is okay but it would be better if they resolved problems a bit faster. The reminder system for people to buy their tickets could also use some improvement.

“more than worth the investment!
Pros
In my opinion, Eventbrite gives you the most for your money. I receive emails as soon as someone registers for my event, plus it sends me helpful advice on how to promote it better.
Cons
Well the mobile experience can be frustrating because it is sometimes slow and freezes up. The one saving grace is that their customer service is helpful when this happens.

“Cost-effective choice
Pros
This is a genuinely simple and cost-effective choice for planning and setting up events, whether for a company or a school. As a first-time user I found the layout friendly and easy to understand. We could even link an external payment method for a school function without any trouble. Managing the RSVPs and automatic email alerts was also easy to configure.
Cons
My use has been limited to just a few events but the only real challenge I faced was trying to edit or adjust details after the event page was already live.

“no customer support!
Pros
Eventbrite software itself is great as it is easy to use and very helpful. The huge problem is that there is no customer support. For days I have been trying to talk to a real person but failed and now I am almost ready to close my account over this. And yes I know that handling money needs to be secure but the connection to Stripe has made everything much more complicated than it needs to be. Because of these problems, I can only give it a 2 star rating.
Cons
There is absolutely no direct help available. Everything started having problems when Stripe became involved. All I need is to fix this single verification problem and it is incredibly frustrating.

“Easy and effective event promotion
Pros
Creating and publishing an event page is really simple, even for our small team and smaller promotions. Also they provide ready-made templates that make it easy to create good looking event ads, it also helped us share the event with our current followers and also reach completely new groups of people to build interest.
Cons
Nothing major but I would say after you learn the basics, it is a good idea for the event manager to try the advanced settings. Sometimes just a few small changes can make the event much better for everyone involved.

“makes event management simple
Pros
Posting the details for my webinars and workshops is a simple process with this tool. Plus being able to create event listings without a fee makes it an excellent deal. It is also handy that an email lands in my inbox whenever a new person signs up.
Cons
It seems like my events sometimes don't reach as many people as they should. They are often free and cover topics with broad appeal so I am not sure why I struggle to get more sign-ups.

“A joy to use!!
Pros
Both the website and the mobile app are a joy to use and I am amazed by the huge variety of things to do!! You can find local social gatherings or attend online seminars to learn more about your career, personal development or wellness. There is a massive selection of free activities, so you can be social without spending a dime. Their support team is great too as they get back to you quickly and are very helpful. My only issue is being overwhelmed by all the fantastic options and having to decide what I actually have time for. Though I enjoy getting alerts about new events that match my interests. And everyone I know clients, friends, family gets a recommendation from me and I use it regularly myself. Overall it is a wonderful tool for creating a social circle and meeting people in your area, not to mention perfect for professional networking.
Cons
Honestly my only complaint is that I discover way too many amazing events that fit my interests and I just do not have the time to go to them all. But that's definitely a me problem, not a flaw with software itself!

“Very easy to use
Pros
This tool is very easy to use and find your way around. I had no trouble using the website and would definitely use it again for my next event.
Cons
To be honest I cannot think of a single thing I disliked. My experience on the site was great and I'd happily use it for my next event.

“go-to platform for reliable tickets
Pros
Whether you are setting up an event, reserving a spot or buying tickets from a reliable source, this platform makes it simple. I have booked everything from music gigs and professional conferences to all sorts of other gatherings. The best part is its solid reputation as I never stress about my purchase being legitimate. Plus sharing any event with friends is not a problem at all.
Cons
The overall layout works well though the site's visual design could use a bit of a refresh. That said it is certainly not bad by any means.

“customer support doesnt exist!
Pros
Getting paid every week is the single positive feature I can mention. I would be happy to hear suggestions for any other competent company that offers this service.
Cons
Finding a customer service rep who actually knows what they are doing is impossible. And we cannot talk to a real person, we are just stuck with a chat box.

“Lost its simplicity in the update
Pros
In the past the platform was much simpler to operate and I generated a decent number of ticket sales. Navigating and using all the features felt effortless back then.
Cons
The platform has changed and now I cannot even access my old account to post events the way I used to. I might give it another shot someday but for now I have moved on.

“setting up and checking in guests is easy
Pros
Setting up an event is very easy. I can quickly make different types of tickets and check in guests with no problems. The system is also simple to use and has completely replaced our old, slow phone booking system.
Cons
Sometimes the reporting dashboard does not give me enough detail, particularly when I am trying to analyze attendee patterns over several different events.

“Great resource for getting the word out
Pros
Their built-in user base is a great resource for getting the word out, helping us connect with new people and sell tickets for the events we plan.
Cons
It can be hard to manage different events at the same time and understand how the search feature works. Plus I feel like the platform should also connect more easily with other marketing tools to create a smoother experience for users.

“single-click invite for past attendees
Pros
I especially like the feature that lets us send a direct invite to people who came to our past events as it is just a single click process.
Cons
We do not have much freedom to customize our event page beyond the main photo and a few pictures. And I would love the option to add a clickable link to my own website.

“Clean design
Pros
The design is really clean and nice to look at, plus the interface is simple to handle. Also the text is easy to read without the cluttered feel we get from so many other ticket apps.
Cons
Getting help was difficult. There were a few times I ran into problems with the app for various events and found it hard to reach anyone in customer support.
