Unbeatable for event variety

Pros

No matter where I am, Eventbrite always has a wide selection of fun things for me to do.

Cons

The extra fees on every ticket really add up and to be honest the competition is getting fierce. There are so many similar platforms out there now that it's tough to stand out.

Not what we expected it to be

Pros

My experience with this software was poor and the only positive was that it was an option when I needed a service like it.

Cons

It is hard to know where to begin. Their customer service is practically non-existent, they have a strict no-refund policy and setting up an event is needlessly complicated. There is also no vetting for organizers, so anyone can sell tickets which makes it risky if we end up in a scam situation with no purchase protection.

Helpful notifications and event suggestions

Pros

You get helpful notifications about the events you have signed up for, plus suggestions for other similar ones.

Cons

Finding my ticket in my email inbox or getting it to open can sometimes be a hassle.

Great for discovering free activities

Pros

It is great for discovering activities I am genuinely interested in that do not cost anything.

Cons

There are no downsides. You can use all sorts of filters to narrow down your search and find exactly what you are looking for.

A versatile tool for any occasion

Pros

I had no trouble using Eventbrite to get tickets for all sorts of occasions, both for work and my personal life. Also creating a page for a free online workshop was also surprisingly easy.

Cons

I've noticed that if I don't have a direct link, I end up spending a few minutes trying to figure out how to get back to my account. The path just isn't very intuitive for me.

Pros

Buying or selling tickets is incredibly quick and easy, no matter what kind of event you have in mind.

Cons

Right now, the event selection where I live is a bit limited. I'm hoping more people in my community start using it because I really like the platform itself.

Perfect for small to mid-size events

Pros

Putting together an event and getting the word out about it is really simple and easy.

Cons

Reporting tools fall a bit short for our large events. We just don't get the level of detail we need to manage things effectively.

My favorite tool for event planning

Pros

My most favorite thing is how simple it is to track down the exact tickets I am looking for and buy them without any hassle.

Cons

The worst part is that occasionally I will buy a ticket, only to find out later that the event was not even real.

great tools for showcasing your event

Pros

Having the option to include a FAQ section was really helpful. I also loved that I could upload pictures to give potential attendees a better feel for the event.

Cons

Well the fees was a real downside for me. It felt excessively high for people buying tickets and also for someone like me hosting an event.

simplifies the whole ticketing process

Pros

Eventbrite really simplifies the whole ticketing process. Booking tickets is effortless and much less stressful than on other sites. The design is clean and managing everything from the admin side is uncomplicated. Overall I am a big fan.

Cons

Getting help from support could be a little faster but to be fair thats a high standard as they are still quicker than most.

It is pretty simple to figure out and it even connects with ticket scanners for checking people in on the day of the event.

Cons

powerful platform

Pros

I love that you can create a dedicated business profile for people to find and follow, that's a killer feature you won't find everywhere. And since they're the biggest platform, most of our audience is already there. It's not great for competition but it's fantastic for visibility

Cons

The fee feels unfair to me especially now. Theyve now limited how many free tickets you can give out which makes the platform less helpful for free events. Also there is no real discount for charities and you cannot even see who is following your organizations page.

The whole system is user friendly, safe and simple to use. Also the ticketing functionality works flawlessly.

Cons

Eventbrite software is pretty simple, it connects us with a broad audience and the best part is that at this point, most people already know and recognize it.

Cons

Customizing events to our specific needs can be frustrating. Setting up custom email communications is particularly difficult and I often run into issues getting hyperlinks to work properly.

Pros

Setting up an event page is a simple process and I really like how you can include so many different features and lots of specific information.

Cons

Browsing for events can be annoying because the filtering system is not great, a lot of irrelevant results pop up in my searches.

the BEST tool!

Pros

The best part for me is that you can just jump in and use it without any prior instruction. I managed to get my first event fully set up in just a few minutes.

Cons

Perfect for finding marketing events

Pros

I really like how this platform organizes events. I use it to plan and sign up for almost every marketing event I attend. I have had the app on my phone for two years. It is great that you can search for events near you and there are also a huge number of online classes available.

Cons

Even though I have my notifications set to get marketing events, I do not receive many alerts. So a little more prompting from the app would really help me stay on top of my planning.
