clean design with simple event creation

Pros

The design is clean and user-friendly, creating and customizing an event page is simple and the stats we get are helpful. Also there are lots of features and connections available and it works great on a phone.

Cons

Well the fees are on the higher side especially for smaller gatherings and there is a waiting period to get our money until after the event is over.

Helpful for organizing an event

Pros

Organizing an event is pretty simple with this tool. Also we can put the booking form directly on our own website and we also benefit from getting registrations through Eventbrite's own searchable marketplace.

Cons

The service gets a bit expensive for paid tickets and connecting it with an external email marketing tool is not very seamless.

hassle-free process for buying tickets

Pros

Buying tickets is a hassle-free process. My payment information is saved securely which speeds up any future purchases. I also like being able to pick from various ticket tiers like general admission or VIP and the whole checkout is very smooth.

Cons

I really dislike the extra service fees. They are not huge but it's always annoying to see them added to the ticket price at the end.

Premium and well-trusted service

Pros

It is a premium service and the brand is very well-known and trusted by people who attend events.

Cons

One thing to note is that we can't set different ticket prices for specific groups, such as creating a discount for members. The processing fees for each ticket are also a bit higher than we'd like.

it's easy but don't expect advanced features

Pros

This tool is very simple and easy to use. The website guides us step by step through everything. To join an event, you just click that you are going.

Cons

The website's design feels a bit dated and I haven't noticed many updates over the years. For event organizers, it seems like the main functions are just collecting 'I'm going' replies and keeping everyone's information in one place. In fact, I often find that organizers just end up contacting me directly instead of using the site's messaging

Huge help for first-time organizers

Pros

Having such a thorough help section with tutorials made a huge difference for me. As someone creating free events for the first time, I could find solutions for almost any question and follow the steps without getting lost.

Cons

Setting up a virtual event that repeated on different days and times was a little tricky though I was also new to the whole process and my situation was fairly complex to begin with.

Simplifies the entire event planning process

Pros

It really simplifies the entire event planning process making it seamless and stress-free. The interface is also user friendly and you can tailor a lot of things. Seeing who has registered and all their details is simple too, with everything presented in a clear and organized manner.

brilliantly simple event setup

Pros

Putting together an event listing is a quick process. We can also manage everything from a browser on our computer or phone without being forced to install a separate app.

Cons

From my side as an organizer, I have not run into any problems setting up events. I cannot speak to the experience of buying or selling tickets since I have not done that myself.

A smooth process for getting tickets

Ive never had a single problem getting tickets as the process always feels smooth. A feature I really love is being able to save my tickets straight to my Apple Wallet.

It is a great tool for finding things to do and filling up a calendar that's looking a bit empty.

Cons

Outside vendors can sell tickets for a venue or restaurant and they are allowed to set their own pricing and commission rates which is not ideal.

Quick and easy for buying tickets

Pros

Buying a ticket is quick and easy. Your ticket is sent straight to your email and with the app, showing it when you arrive is very simple.

Cons

They take a percentage of every ticket sale as a service fee which adds up quickly for expensive events. Even though we can make the attendee pay this fee but the higher final cost can sometimes put people off from buying.
