Best software!!

Pros

I find tripleseat to be a very simple tool for managing events and catering, especially for restaurants and hotels. I love its multiple calendar filters and the copying feature for events and notes. They keep me updated through blogs, posts, Tripleseat University, and the community. I just love them!

Cons

It would be more convenient if we could copy one event for several days at once on the calendar. That said, overall, Tripleseat is still a great software option.

Always a top choice for me

Pros

I've used this product in three different roles. Initially, I led the purchase and setup and then, I assisted in transitioning to another product, and now I'm back using Tripleseat again. I find it the fastest and easiest to use compared to all the leading options.

Cons

Improving the reporting capabilities would be beneficial for comparing our past data with current trends. While there are workarounds available, they tend to take longer than necessary.

Do the great work for event planning

Pros

This program has streamlined my event planning process significantly. It's so easy to book groups, send menus, invoices and even collect payments. The calendar feature allows my entire staff to see when dates are booked without disclosing other details, so they don't have to come to me for availability questions. It also serves as a useful client database.

Cons

There are a few tweaks that could enhance the mobile app's user friendliness. However I still believe it's a great program overall.

Pros

It's a great tool for managing my restaurant or bar. It's very easy and provides excellent insights into my daily operations and sales.

Cons

At this point, I don't see much that needs improvement, but I'm excited to see what new features and updates will come out in the future!

Outstanding!

Pros

This is super easy cloud-based software that my team and I utilize. It's so much better than the outdated platforms we used before.

Cons

Occasionally, glitches can be frustrating, and it's not always easy to reach someone for immediate support. There are additional features I would love to utilize but it seems like not all the kinks have been fully addressed yet.

I like that every detail and message between clients and our company is stored in one place.

Cons

The money tracking aspect of the software is rather challenging for me. It appears that it could benefit from better integration with our bank records for more accurate financial management.

Incredible CRM

Pros

It's easy to use with a great support team. Weekly and daily digests provide excellent reporting, and integrating with Stripe payments is seamless. The merge fields in auto-responses pulling from the calendar are very useful, and the guest portal for clients to view all documents and payments is a great feature.

Cons

The software isn't as customizable as I would like it to be, and there are drawbacks on reporting functions. And it doesn't integrate as easily with other software compared to some other CRM options, like Zapier.

Payment settings are lacking

Pros

Guests can click on a link and see updates in real-time as I make changes without needing to send an email.

Cons

I'm not a fan of how inflexible the payment date settings are. It would be a lot more convenient if admins had the ability to adjust that feature.

Pros

It has a marketplace feature that allows my restaurant to create a profile, so planners and clients can view my venue easily.

Cons

There is not an option to set a timeline for menu creation. Also it would be helpful If I have a way to highlight menus and increase font sizes for better visibility.

Good for hosting events

Pros

We just started using Tripleseat after a fellow business owner recommended it, and we really enjoy it! It's incredibly handy for booking catering events and private parties.

Cons

The only drawback I can mention is that there are months when we don't use the app for bookings, yet we still have to pay the monthly subscription fee. That can feel a bit frustrating.

So many great features

Pros

This software is excellent for receiving event leads directly from my website. It helps me track the leads-to-booking ratio, and I love that people can pay directly through Tripleseat. It streamlines my event management system, and clients can sign contracts electronically and view all their contracts and payments in their portal. The reporting feature is fantastic for keeping track of revenue.

Cons

I have had difficulty figuring out how to set up reminders in a way that works for us. The website offers a lot of options for automatic reminders, but it isn't very simple to navigate. A better design could enhance the user experience.

5 stars! Amazing software

Pros

Managing events for five restaurants, Tripleseat has helped me get more organized and reduced the time I spend on each event and responding to clients.

Cons

It's inconvenient that the platform doesn't automatically save what I type in responses. I also can't see the original inquiry details when replying, which complicates communication.

Boosts our efficiency

Pros

With tripleseat, I'm able to handle more work, communicate with more clients and overall be more efficient. After many years in restaurant events, I'm generating more than double the event revenue using tripleseat compared to my previous employer. It's easy to use and relatively easy once I got the hang of it, and my experience with my account rep has been amazing.

Cons

I have concerns about the discussions software and its interaction with email servers. Since I do all my communicating through TS Discussions, many of my messages end up in clients' spam folders, causing confusion and missed communications.

Pros

I love the ease of use! I can easily train new employees quickly on how to book orders. I love the customization and ease of adding new menu items. The reporting is excellent for keeping track of sales and other marking tools.

Cons

I wish there were a way to auto generate packing slips for the kitchen. For instance, when someone orders fajitas for ten, it would be incredibly useful if the system could automatically populate the required quantities for preparation.

Pros

Tripleseat saves me time and is really easy to use. The fact that it let me save or create events if anything is left blank is a big plus. In the fastpaced event industry, it's great to have software that double checks everything, especially when I'm in a rush.

Cons

Deleting an event after it's created can be a difficult process. I wish to have an app feature that allows me to manage this while I'm on the go, ensuring seamless communication with clients.

Top-tier customer support

Pros

It's user-friendly and features are constantly being added and improved. Most importantly, the customer support is the best I've ever encountered!

Cons

The calendar doesn't display the day of the week next to the date, which can be somewhat confusing. We have also faced issues with adding new users to view BEOs but it seems like those problems are gradually getting resolved.
