The software isn't the most userfriendly, especially when trying to access it on the go.

Good but can be improved

Pros

The functionality for receiving leads and booking events works really well for me.

Cons

I have faced many slowdowns and service interruptions, plus issues with contracts copying over incorrectly. Managing old leads can be quite confusing.

Incredible software

Pros

Booking events are awesome! Since we host private and social gatherings, I love the easy access to client documents and how all discussions are organized under one event.

Cons

We need a smartphone app that would be incredibly useful for on the go tasks.

Great for planning big events

Pros

Overall, I really love Tripleseat! While no software is perfect, my representatives are incredibly responsive and great to work with. Their customer service is the best among all the platforms we use.

Cons

Merging events for client PDFs could definitely be more seamless, the current process involves too many steps and there are frequent glitches. These are the problems I have faced.

Have peace of mind with Tripleseat!

Pros

It gives me such peace of mind every day. I check the calendar each morning and know exactly what I need to focus on. I literally can't do my job without it.

Cons

I like everything has been thought through, it's hard to pinpoint any missing features.

Saves a lot of time!

Pros

I appreciate how quickly Tripleseat turns leads into events and bookings, saving us a ton of time on client proposals.

Cons

I do not enjoy how fragile some of the features can be. Sometimes it is a matter of one checked box that can have things completely turned around, but we have no way of knowing/finding the box that needs to be checked or unchecked. This can sometimes make it feel like we need to contact our reps just to get a simple thing fixed.

Excellent responses from customer support

Pros

Tripleseat is easy to use and a great partner. Whenever I need something, they're always willing to listen and help find a solution.

Cons

There is a need for improvement in the Daypart segmentation and minimums for Tripleseat direct Surveys Texting to Guest feature. I think this needs to be fixed.

Good match for me

Pros

As an event manager with a small team, I find Tripleseat comprehensive and user-friendly. It's critical for my success and efficiency. I use the lead, event, and calendar features countless times a day, and I love that I can import email response templates and BEO templates. Their customer service is super friendly and fast.

Cons

Tripleseat has some quirky features that can be frustrating. For example, when trying to add a new client, there's often a lag that really slows down my workflow. It's especially tricky since you can only attach one client to a lead. This means when I'm working with couples or both parents of the groom, I can only use one email address, which confuses them about who's in the conversation. The email function feels like a weak spot and there have been simple feature requests that seem like common sense but haven't been addressed yet. It would really make a difference to see some of these improvements! There are weird quirks which I think needs to be fixed, like slow client entry, and email communication is limited to one address, which can confuse clients.

Loved to use it daily

Pros

It organizes all my data very well and is super easy! I love its features for everyday use.

Cons

Transitioning to this software was a significant effort and very time consuming for me, an app and more flexibility in document layouts would be a plus.

A wide collection of features

Pros

I love how event request links can be embedded into my website for client ease. The task function serves as a reminder for me, and I can see if clients received and opened my emails. TS Direct is a game changer, it allows guests to book themselves a private room or catering, select a menu, and submit payment.

Cons

TS Direct has come a long way in the past year, and I really appreciate the improvements! One thing that would make my life easier is if any menu changes I make on the main TS site could automatically sync everywhere else. Also, it would be so helpful if the location toggle remembered my choice, having to re-select it each time can be a bit annoying. Just a couple of tweaks like that would really streamline the process!

Great for tech unsavvy people

Pros

My absolute favorite feature is how user-friendly this platform is. I'm not really a tech-savvy person but I find it incredibly easy to use, which boosts my confidence in sharing information with my team and clients!

Cons

Honestly there's nothing negative to report, this platform truly is amazing.

Does its job correctly

Pros

Tripleseat a full-service platform that manages leads from start to finish, and it has become an industry standard. It's easy for both clients and my team to use.

Cons

One area where Tripleseat could truly enhance its value is by integrating a feedback capture tool directly into the platform. Having a built in way to gather client insights would be incredibly beneficial for us.

Good options, just need a little update

Pros

I find it extremely simple and customizable, with great calendar and template options.

Cons

The way contacts are saved can be quite frustrating. It's difficult that a client's contact name could be altered by another Tripleseat user due to shared email addresses. And the discussion center feels outdated and could use a thorough update to improve usability.

Managing things is easy with this app

Pros

It covers everything I need, from leads and inquiries to messaging, booking, menu planning, proposals, BEOs, and calendars.

Cons

There's definitely room for improvement in online forms. Proposals, contracts, and credit card authorization forms are sent as PDFs, which means clients must print them out to sign or need Adobe to sign them electronically.

Should have a customization option

Pros

Since it's web-based, I can access it from my browser. It's as simple to navigate as Facebook.

Cons

Given that Tripleseat primarily caters to restaurants, we have had to change some of the language to better suit our event management context. It would be great if the platform could be more customized to our specific needs.
