Pros

It felt very simple to use and came with a lot of useful features that made things more easier.

Cons

It didn't always sync correctly with QuickBooks which caused some issues from time to time.

Easy to get in touch with team

Pros

Getting in touch with a customer service rep is really simple which is great when we need help.

Cons

Payments through the app

Pros

Running a blue-collar service business with this product has been a really positive experience. Being able to take payments right through the app is a huge plus. Once you spend a little time getting used to it, the system feels very user-friendly and does a really nice job of keeping all my client information organized.

Cons

My only real concern was the monthly pricing based on what I personally needed for my business. It's not that the value isn't there but as a one-person operation, it came with more features and extras than I actually needed. I can definitely see it being much more worthwhile for companies with more than two employees especially for staying organized with scheduling and building daily routes.

Customer-friendly and professional look

Pros

It felt very customer-friendly and helped us present a much more professional image.

Cons

It wasn't particularly helpful for quoting moves and it didn't include furniture in the listings. On the dumpster rental side, drivers also couldn't check inventory in and out through the system.

simple to train employees

Pros

The app is very user-friendly and uncomplicated. The layout made training employees pretty simple and it fit into our day-to-day workflow without much effort.

Cons

Every now and then it would glitch and when trying to open a job page, the app would suddenly restart.

Reasonably priced software!

Pros

It has been very user-friendly for our team and it brings a lot of useful tools together in one platform. They also keep improving it by adding new features on a regular basis, at least every quarter. On top of that, it's priced very reasonably compared to other similar software options.

Cons

There are times when I wish it offered a bit more customization to better match our specific needs. I'd also like to see a stronger routing option although it seems like they're actively working on improving that.

Helpful for office and field teams

Pros

It does a good job of letting us enter important details that support both the office staff and the field technicians.

Cons

The time sheet options still feel limited and need more choices especially for things like PTO and breaks. Also even though property profile details can be added and linked to a job, that information doesn't carry over to the invoice.

Not hard to get used to

Pros

Getting used to it was really quick since the system is very user-friendly and simple to adapt to.

Cons

mobile app isn't my preferred way to use it and I'd rather work from a desktop though that's really just a personal preference.

Feature-packed solid option

Pros

Housecall Pro is a very capable software and would be my second choice overall. It comes with a lot of really strong features that make it a solid software option.

Cons

Only thing it's missing is 3D viewing and that really feels like a must-have feature for apps like this.

Attentive and patient staff

Pros

The customer service has really been the standout part for me. The support team is attentive, responsive and genuinely helpful whenever needed.

Cons

Honestly I wasn't all that interested in using it at the time and I was also dealing with a tight budget situation so the service pricing didn't really help.

Lets me make good money!

Pros

Getting paid through it has been really excellent and I was able to make good money using the platform.

five years of nonstop calls!

Pros

It seemed to function fine while I was using it but overall it just wasn't the right fit for me.

Cons

The constant spam is the real problem. No matter what I try, I can't get them to stop calling me. It has been five years and the calls are still coming.

Overpriced....

Pros

Wasted time and false promises

Pros

Their sales team comes across well even though they don't seem to fully understand the limitations of the product they're selling.

Cons

It ultimately did not deliver what was promised and we lost a lot of time trying to make it fit our needs. When it became clear it couldn't do what they claimed during the sales process, they still did not offer any refund.

Billing visibility is excellent

Pros

The billing system makes it really simple to track who has already paid and which accounts are still past due.

Cons

The credit card processing fees for accepting payments are something I don't care for.

Broad set of features

Pros

Within about half an hour, I had the software up and running in my business. It comes with a lot of useful features that really support my operations. The invoicing process is simple and customers can conveniently pay straight from the link they receive by email.

Cons

Setup went without any issues and I didn't run into any problems while integrating the software.
