“Pricing automation and fast texts”
Pros
I really appreciate how many options you can build into it and the pricing updates automatically based on the services being selected. That automatic calculation is a huge help. It also sends text notifications quickly which I really love.
Cons
With so many options available, people can get a little confused at times when choosing. Also, blocking out hours in the schedule is not as simple as it is in some other systems.

Pros
Having everything in one place has been a big plus. I can block off availability, add pricing and enter all the details without jumping between different tools. It really covers everything I need in one system.
Cons
Choosing and setting up services can feel a little confusing at times. That said part of that probably depends on how each business is structured and what services they offer.

“Customer communication feels more natural”
Pros
Talking with customers feels more natural because the questions follow a good flow. It's also convenient to have service packages and pricing laid out in a way that can be added without much effort.
Cons
Updating information in Housecall Pro has been frustrating. When a customer calls to change their details, the system often switches back to the previous address. Since we try to avoid creating duplicate customer profiles, that ends up causing issues.

Pros
Under normal day-to-day operations, nobody on my team really needs to step in besides the service tech when dealing with the customer. The system automatically sends customers four touchpoints before the rep even gets to their home which has been fantastic.
Cons
I'm still pretty new to using it but at this point I honestly haven't come across anything I dislike. And based on how it's been going, I'm not really expecting to find much to complain about either.

Getting around the interface is simple and even though the service is only offered in English, it's still simple to launch a full scan of the files on your computer.

Not complicated to setup and using it day to day has been simple. The customer service has also been good and the pricing works well for a one-person operation. I also really appreciate the postcard marketing feature.
Cons
If you're just launching a business, the price might feel a bit high for the level of service included. That stands out even more when similar services can be found on other sites for free.

Right away, the mobile-friendly design makes this app a pleasure to use. Navigation is very user-friendly and I can schedule a job from the mobile app in just a few seconds. The customer service team has also been excellent whenever I've needed help. Compared with the other apps I've tried, this one performs better overall.
Cons
Even though the app has been excellent overall, there are still a few features missing. It would be helpful to have separate terms for estimates and invoices, the option to label an estimate as a proposal or contract and the ability to set customer billing terms and due dates.

Pros
After 50 years of working with different software programs, this one stands out as the best I've used. Keep up the excellent work.
Cons
One thing that would really help is being able to send invoice details by text. I'd love the option to copy the invoice and paste it into a text message especially since I work with a lot of out-of-town customers who won't provide an email address.

The marketing tools and customer communication before and during a job are helpful.
Cons
After more than a year of using it, I can say this software really only works well for scheduling appointments. Beyond that, it has been a poor fit especially if you use QuickBooks Online because the two do not work well together at all. Getting support is frustrating since straight answers are hard to get and calling the company is basically not an option. I run into problems every day, including missing information, customers that are hard to locate and duplicate customer records when exporting to QBO. On top of that, the desktop version does not match the phone app which makes using it even more frustrating. Dealing with it has become a daily struggle and the problems just keep piling up.

Cons
There really isn't much to complain about. If I had to point to one thing, the scheduler feels like it could be a little more organized. It can become somewhat complex when entering multiple jobs or estimates.

Pros
Across both the office and the field team, this program has become our go-to system. The technicians really appreciate how well it connects with their phones which lets them invoice customers, update a work order on the spot and email the client within seconds. They can also take payment right there and customers have been very happy with that convenience.
Cons

“Regular updates and outstanding customer care”
Pros
Across all the locations we manage, HC PRO's dispatching has been the standout feature for our crews. It takes a lot of pressure off the call center and makes coordinating jobs much more manageable. The customer support has also been outstanding. Chris and the rest of the team use Intercom.io which I really appreciate as someone who works with software myself. It makes communication very effective and I especially value that it can even email customers if they leave the page, along with keeping a full transcript. On top of that, they roll out updates regularly and include screenshots which makes it simple to pass those changes along to the rest of our team.
Cons
There still aren't enough integrations available although the team seems to be putting a lot of effort into adding more.
