Pros

Im really impressed with how simple and accessible the platform is, plus the range of features it brings. My team and I can quickly duplicate past routes, edit or add drivers and toss in new orders. Because of that we update the system in real time and run things very efficiently. Addresses are color-coded by driver which lets me visually trace each route and edit things manually when needed. I also appreciate being able to specify the estimated time for each delivery, since that lets me match routes to the actual time demands of each driver. Previously we just split stops evenly across drivers but some jobs legitimately take longer. All in all, this is a fantastic tool and we're really pleased to have it supporting our fundraiser efforts.

Honestly, I can't think of anything about the program that I dislike at this point.

I liked that there's a free trial period, signing up was really simple, there aren't too many settings to fiddle with and the customer support team was responsive.

This software delivers exactly what I expect it to. My company evaluated four different route-planning solutions before choosing and OptimoRoute quickly became the clear favorite among our couriers without question.

There are certain functions I wish the program included but currently lacks. Our team would like greater flexibility for tweaking routes that have already been created, since the current setup is a bit rigid. I completely get the reasoning behind their design yet as a user I still want to be able to adjust things in slightly different ways.

I see a long list of changes that would improve this software. There are simply too many to list here. What bugs me most and it's a problem across the industry, is that it doesn't integrate live traffic information. Without real-time traffic it becomes practically useless for evaluating driver performance. At best it's only marginally superior to keeping everything in a spreadsheet.

I'm a fan of its simplicity. Training new employees to use the app has been really simple for me.

It frustrates me that the driver has to toggle the service on and off while running a route. I'd much prefer if he could simply hit a 'Next' button to move along.

We did have a problem where updating a single driver removed all routes, although we managed to work around that during the period we used the tool.

My wish is that the app offered additional routing options so I can include more granular details like selecting shortest distance, dragging a route onto a different street and avoiding so many manual tweaks to driver profiles just to merge stops in the same area (like editing cost and working hours).

I'm annoyed that I can't add stores individually without first deleting all existing ones and re-adding them. It also bothers me that stores have no ability to track the delivery truck and we can't adjust pickup or delivery times without resending the entire route to the driver.
