Pros

Using OptimoRoute makes serving people in our community at our nonprofit significantly simpler. It's an affordable tool that's simple to operate, stores our clients' details securely and enables us to maximize efficiency when mapping delivery routes throughout town. It also records which deliveries succeeded and which failed so we can follow up properly. All of the initial setup and importing client data is quick and simple to carry out!

Cons

Nothing to complain about, it's covered our needs! I know there are many features I'm not using so I'm sure it offers more than I currently use!

incredible customer service

Pros

Having used it for many years, I've found it so easy to use and their support has always been outstanding. It offers excellent value for money and the tracking and delivery notifications have significantly sped up our workflow and reduced our operational costs.

Cons

I'd appreciate it if new features were rolled out faster. The platform works well overall but updates tend to be small tweaks instead of major improvements. It would be helpful to have somewhere to submit and track feature suggestions.

Awesome live tracking feature

Pros

The live-tracking function is amazing and I find the whole app really simple to use. I like being able to check exactly where the driver is and monitor how long their deliveries take.

Cons

I struggle a bit when trying to add extra stops to a route because it's not very user-friendly. I'd also love an option to link the app with WhatsApp so I could message customers directly from within the platform.

Cons

Always chooses the best routes

Pros

When it comes to routing and maps, I'm impressed by how well it performs. It consistently picks the best path around the city and makes moving around urban routes much easier for me.

Cons

I notice that when I assign drivers and then run routes, the system sometimes unchecks the driver I previously selected. I can manually override this behavior so maybe we're doing something wrong rather than it being a program bug but it still causes extra work.

Pros

Love being able to add notes to the delivery address so the driver can see any specific issues or instructions about a drop-off. It also lets me keep tabs on drivers in real time. Being able to check how long each drop takes helps us fine-tune daily routines and make our workflows more efficient.

Cons

Honestly, I don't really have any complaints and it keeps improving all the time. When they introduced the click-and-drag feature that lets me move deliveries around, it made a significant difference to how I manage routes and schedules.

Helped our business grow

Pros

Using this software has been really easy for both my drivers and the office staff. The app is very simple and didn't present a steep learning curve so practically anyone on the team could start using it right away. Its tracking features are handy for the office when keeping up with customers and planning routes. I especially appreciate the GPS coordinates in rural areas where map data can be unreliable or incorrect. Because of that, we cut driver training time by more than half. The cost seems reasonable considering the volume of data you need to manage to keep the business organized. The initial setup did take some time but it ended up helping our company grow and retain customers.

Cons

One major problem I ran into is that drivers aren't forced to use the app and they can simply disable the tracker on their end. That loophole became a big issue for us and forced me to buy dedicated tracking hardware for both of our trucks to ensure reliable monitoring.

Pros

I find the layout visually appealing, Having the map visible when I'm scheduling makes it easy to tell who is heading where and to spot when drivers' paths cross so I can reorganize routes.

Cons

At first, transferring routes to other drivers confused me a bit but after I got the hang of how it works, the process felt simple.

Provides an overview of all routes

Pros

I'm able to see in one place my drivers daily and weekly routes and that overview includes their locations, completed stops and how accurate each run is throughout the day. The support team has been responsive, helping me with features and advising on how to scale as our operation grows.

Cons

I honestly can't point to anything about this service that I disliked. If anything, the only downside was the effort we had to put in initially as there's a lot to absorb at first. I appreciated that their team visited our office to walk us through the setup and get core features running. A few of the backend settings were tricky to understand but since their representative was on-site we managed to work through those issues together.

Huge timesaver

Pros

One thing I appreciate is how much time it saves our team when planning delivery routes. Scheduling becomes significantly more efficient and our clients enjoy a smooth, professional experience when they now receive their orders.

Cons

My only request is that it offered a dedicated mobile app for administrators. Having that would make it much easier to follow drivers and oversee daily operations while out and about so I wouldn't have to stay tied to a desktop.

I am finding this tool very simple to handle and highly flexible which is great because our former solution didn't let us adjust the SMS messages.

Cons

I can't export driver files as CSV and I'd appreciate a feature that lets me send out a different route even while the current one is still in progress.

It�s really uncomplicated and its reporting tools are great for pulling together KPIs and building presentations whenever I need them.

Cons

I wish the app had more advanced reporting features. Although I can export the raw data and finish the analysis in Excel, having built-in options would save me time.

We rely on it because it's super efficient, easy to use and dependable. It cuts out hours of manual scheduling each week and lets us optimize delivery routes down to the last detail. Pros

Importing data is not difficult and I enjoy the overall user experience. The planning and live-tracking tools are useful and the driver app is in good shape.

Cons

I've noticed that occasionally the planner makes poor choices like recommending taking a boat across a river and estimating it will take one minute. Re-planning can also be tricky at times, though these aren't deal-breakers.

simple to figure out

Pros

I'm finding it very user-friendly and simple to pick up, plus the free trial period really helped me get started without needing to pay anything upfront and overall I'm happy with it.

Cons

I can't import all of my data from external programs into Optimoroute and it doesn't integrate well with most other software. Excel seems to be the only one that works properly.

Pros

It's simple to understand and use. Most of the functions are pretty friendly and I'm a big fan of their overnight planning tool.

Cons

A frustrating thing for me is that when I copy multi-day routes, the system sometimes alters the entire itinerary without any warning. Also I can't view more than five weeks at once which feels restrictive.

Allows customers to track drivers

Pros

Its very customer-friendly and theres nothing complicated about it. Allowing customers to track where drivers are has dramatically cut down the number of calls we get at the office asking about the status of their deliveries.

Cons

It's not a major issue but we'd really value a feature that lets us put customers into a holding queue inside the system so they can be prepared for allocation to a delivery day later. It would be handy to drag or move them onto the suitable day when needed and if plans change they'd simply be pulled off the route back into holding for rescheduling rather than being deleted or dumped into an arbitrary day which avoids having to re-enter all their details.
