Honestly, it has completely transformed how I run things. It's made my workload so much lighter and far less intimidating, especially now that I'm hiring staff and bringing on more clients. everything about the app feels user-friendly and having clients' cards stored securely on file has been an absolute game changer for me. I don't spend ages chasing people down or rifling through bank statements to figure out who's paid and who hasn't. That admin chore used to be the thing I dreaded and Zenmaid has fixed it. Batch payments literally take me a few seconds now and every time I process payments I get this little sense of victory. That particular feature alone makes the subscription worthwhile because it puts me in complete control of payments. If you're serious about growing a business, putting reliable systems in place is non-negotiable for organizing and scaling and this does that for me. Also if there's one gift I could give myself, it would be the time it gives back: my admin has been slashed by about 90% since I started using it which is priceless. Their customer support is brilliant too and it's obvious the team genuinely wants everyone to have a great experience.

Simplfied everything for me

Pros

Running my business has gotten a lot simpler. I honestly feel like there's an extra admin on my team helping out.

Cons

The price can be a downside and it does get a bit slow sometimes but I appreciate that they keep working to make it better.

Useful automated appointment reminders

Pros

I really appreciate being able to send automated appointment reminders to both customers and technicians. We can also attach checklists to jobs which helps keep everyone on the same page. It's awesome that they collaborated with my coach on the Filthy Rich Cleaners podcast and I enjoy listening to that episode. Another feature I find especially helpful is the appointment availability finder.

Cons

One major frustration for me is that I can't bill directly because my bookkeeping is handled in QuickBooks. I'd love more options for adjusting the review prompts too. For example, giving us the ability to include a team photo in the review request. Another annoyance is how limited the character count is for automated texts which makes it hard to say everything I want. It would be great to have a customizable commercial walkthrough form that we complete during a walkthrough and then have it saved for future reference. I also wish there was a place in the app to upload cleaning product labels so cleaners can access them quickly without hunting through Google Drive or other file storage. On the training side, it would be really helpful if managers could upload short technician training videos so a tech on a job could pull up a quick refresher when needed. Finally, I would like the option to send the finished checklist to the customer as part of the appointment completion text so clients can immediately see what was done.

Simple to learn

Pros

I'm really impressed with how user-friendly it is. I found it super simple to learn and I can teach others without much difficulty.

Cons

Having the option for separate training accounts would be really useful for me. It would let new office staff feel comfortable clicking around and trying things out without actually breaking or changing the live schedule which gives me peace of mind as I train them.

I like that I can embed a sign-up form on my website, letting potential clients easily submit their details for future bookings.

Cons

Because of the way it's set up, my team has to use a separate system for clocking in and out at the office which means if I relied on it we'd end up doing the same work twice.
