Offers unique features

Pros

I've actually been able to speak directly with the creator and tell them about my experiences. When I report problems they respond pretty quickly and there are a huge number of features here that most other companies don't provide.

Cons

At first I ran into some problems but that was a long time ago and it's no longer an issue.

Love the color-coded schedule

Pros

For me, this program is excellent for keeping every aspect of my maid service organized. I love the color-coded schedule and letting employees clock their hours directly through the app is incredibly convenient.

Cons

I notice that after I book an appointment it still stays on the calendar page. It would be more efficient if the app automatically returned me to the guest's profile afterward.

Pros

I'm impressed by how user-friendly it is and the ability to send email reminders really stood out. I also appreciate the many automated tools that let me concentrate more on running my business.

Cons

For a small business, the overall cost and the extra paid add-ons made it feel overpriced. I wouldn't recommend it unless my team had at least three employees or we were handling very large booking volumes to justify the spend.

essential part of my business

Pros

I started using it when I launched my business and honestly I can't imagine how other cleaning companies operate without a tool like this. It handles everything from scheduling to payroll, simplifying many of our operational tasks. My cleaners appreciate being able to check their shifts, read notes and so on. Running payroll is simple and staff value the summaries we provide that show their appointments for the previous period. Confirmation messages and reminders are automated. Overall, this platform removes much of the repetitive, tedious administrative burden from our workflow and saves us time every day.

Cons

There are some bugs here and there but they get fixed quickly. I wish the mobile app matched the desktop in features, though it's not a deal breaker at all.

Frustrating bugs

Pros

Affordable and pretty simple to operate, aside from the bugs that force me to refresh after every edit. I genuinely appreciated the calendar and scheduling features built specifically for a cleaning business. everything from the booking form to completing payments felt tailored, although it stops short of handling payroll.

Cons

Honestly I can't fathom why this tool has such glowing reviews when it suffers from major glitches that cause real headaches, like payroll hours disappearing, showing up on the calendar and while staff are logged in yet not appearing on payroll reports. Maybe other users assume the calculations are correct and don't double-check but that's a risky bet. That's just one of several annoying bugs I've faceed. Support will reply but their responses rarely resolve the issue or provide clear answers. In my view, payroll isn't something that should be offered via this platform until these problems are fixed. If you adopt this software, you'll want to manually verify time sheets and calculations. After six months of frustration, I ended up switching to a system that actually works.

Unreliable software

Pros

As someone who runs a cleaning business, I appreciate that the system tries to cover every area a cleaning company would require to keep operations organized and running smoothly. I also find the customer support excellent. When I tell them a feature is missing for my workflow, they actually do what they can to build or add that capability for me.

Cons

I've found the app barely functions reliably. Most of the time it fails. The mobile version is especially awful. Core features you'd expect from software like this, such as accurate clock-in tracking and correct payroll calculations, frequently fail to work as they should. It's overly complex to operate (for example, removing a client's appointment requires four to five separate steps) and unpredictably, from one day to the next I can't tell whether I'll face a random error while entering data.

Fantastic online payment option

Pros

I'm absolutely fond of this app. It really soothes my OCD tendencies. Household chores are serious business and it's easy to lose track of what comes next or what I've already finished. Having a schedule makes everything simpler to handle and the option for online payment is hugely appreciated!

Cons

Pros

Convenient design

Pros

I appreciated that when I added a new client or scheduled an appointment, the form opens on the right as a sidebar so I can still see the full calendar while I'm entering details. That design made booking much more convenient and overall I find it more user-friendly than the big names like Housecall Pro or mHelpDesk.

Cons

The way the schedules for multiple employees display is frustrating because they aren't aligned so it's hard for me to quickly spot openings for a new client. It feels scattered and messy, almost like juggling several Google calendars at once. I'm not willing to pay for a scheduling view that basically mirrors Google's free calendar experience.

Glitchy after the recent updates

Pros

Pros

I'm absolutely not tech-savvy, yet ZenMaid was not hard for me to pick up!

Cons

As the owner, the mobile version of the app is completely different from the desktop and laptop interface and I am not able to use it on my phone. It only allows me to sign in as a tech.

Not difficult to get started

Pros

Picked it up very quickly and found it easy to use. I was able to get started without spending hours wrestling with installation or dealing with frustration. They consistently add and improve features and whenever I have a question or issue customer support responds promptly and is always friendly.

Cons

I wish I'd known about it sooner when I was launching my business!
