I notice that when we monitor the camera feeds there is roughly a thirty to forty second lag before the footage updates, so the supposedly live view does not actually appear in real time.

I absolutely love being able to configure pre-trip and post-trip inspections for my drivers, since they receive reminders and can consequently be held responsible if they fail to perform those checks. Also, the capability to design and lay out a route exactly how I prefer simplifies completing any assignment I'm given because the mapped path follows the order I want to run it without unnecessary detours. Another advantage is that drivers must pass the safety test before they are permitted to view the map, which reinforces safe operation and compliance.
Cons
The timecard and approval features should be part of the standard version instead of being limited to Pro, because I depend on the time clock for my business and it was far more convenient when it was included in the base package.

In my experience, route planning with GC is simple and flexible because whether I choose to route each individual stop myself or allow GC to compute the most efficient sequence automatically, it handles both approaches with smooth efficiency, in addition onboarding new drivers and bringing them up to speed is easy due to a first-rate mobile app and an interactive, user-friendly interface that makes learning quick.
Cons
I've noticed that drivers using the turn-by-turn navigation feature need to remember to remap a stop whenever they intend to break from the planned route to deliver to a different location, if they forget, the mapping will continue to guide them to the originally routed stop which can cause delays and confusion.

Cons
One area for improvement would be the ability to enforce time-based logins so that drivers cannot access it before a scheduled shift, for example, when I tell my crew that their start time is 9am, there is currently no way to prevent them from logging into ground cloud earlier. It would be very helpful if an administrative option existed to limit access and make ground cloud available only after the designated 9am start time.

For me, the GPS is the standout feature because I can essentially send anyone to any destination with this tablet and I find that capability very useful and reassuring.

I would really appreciate the option to add a note while planning a route to indicate that after a given stop I need to turn around, since when you hit "mark delivered" and move on the GPS doesn't retain the direction you were heading or the intended flow of the route and that loss of context means that pulling over or into a parking lot can leave less-experienced drivers confused about which direction to go when they resume.

Over time most of the drawbacks I experienced were addressed and subsequently remedied. For a period I needed the ability to send a single message to the entire team at once which wasn't possible at that time and was a limitation for our communications. It appears that this functionality has since been added to the Pro version, closing that gap. As a result there are now very few negatives I can point to.
