Pros

It has made everything pretty simple for us. As form parts orders to repairs and inventory everything updates in real time. Overall it makes it easy for us to manage the whole process without delays.

Cons

Not every option fits the best to our needs but the support team is great about fixing things when we email them.

Pros

There is so much we can do with this tool. Plus the number of features and options it has, gives us flexibility across different areas.

Cons

Even though training covered a lot of ground but we did not get enough help before going live. We think they should have spent at least a full week helping each department get settled in.

Great for equipment insights

Pros

It helps us break down maintenance costs and figure out which equipment needs attention first which is very helpful when we are making decisions.

Loved it!

Pros

Lets us stay on top of all maintenance and repair work for our vehicles and it also helps us make sure that nothing slips through the cracks.

Cons

If we accidentally fill out a PEP form for the wrong unit, we are stuck with it as there is no option to cancel or reassign. That needs fixing.

Packed with great features

Pros

There are so many useful features available. We mainly use of Mir Note, unit tracking and managing work orders as they are all needed as per our workflow and help us run better.

Cons

The planning tool still is not the smoothest to use but over the time we have seen big improvements thanks to the latest updates.

A complete package

Pros

We really liked this tool. As it gave us the option to monitor our employees with chips and instantly open up work orders. Overall it has been proven highly beneficial for us.

Cons

No major complaints so far. We are just working with support to fine tune a few things on our end.

Meets expectations

Pros

We have had no trouble using it. Also it allows us to easily export data into Excel whenever we need to run extra reports.

Cons

There should be a prompt when changing a unit number as if right now it just switches without asking if we are sure.

Pros

Keeping track of our inventory is a lot easier now. As now we do not have to manually count and log everything like before.

Cons

Some of our older mechanics are not into the real-time updates. They jot things down on paper and only add it to MIR later.

MIR-RT for own garage

Pros

Implementing MIR-RT marked our initial move towards automating and overseeing all garage operations. This encompassed managing maintenance schedules, recording repairs comprehensively, assigning work orders, updating unit statuses, and handling cores and warranties through its diverse set of features. Crucially, it also enabled tracking of ancillary activities and miscellaneous items essential for shop operations, contributing significantly to streamlining our processes.

Cons

Managing warranty updates across a diverse fleet of various models and units can be somewhat tedious. However, the team provided a workaround to address my issue. Nonetheless, I feel it would greatly improve efficiency if I could upload group warranties using predefined templates.

What I think of MIR-RT

Pros

I love the feature where you can navigate between areas by double-clicking.

Cons

There's plenty of documentation explaining what each field is, but there's a lack of instructions on how to use them effectively.

Pros

We like how flexible the system is and using it was not an issue at all thanks to a MIR-RT professional onboarding team.

Cons

We are still waiting for the accounting integration to be set up. Getting the accounting bridge to work has been a lot difficult than we expected.

My experience with MIR

Pros

The tech support has been awesome and the team is super dedicated to making sure everything is set up properly. They're always available and really listen to what we need.

Cons

I'd say you really need to learn the small features to feel totally comfortable using the system. Once you get the hang of it though, it's fine.

Pros

The different modules help us manage everything from supplies to truck and trailer maintenance. It's all there in one place.

Cons

I wish there was more flexibility between modules like inventory, orders and work orders. For example, it'd be super helpful to adjust inventory right from the order module.

Can't run things without it

Pros

It makes it easy to look up repair history and also plan ahead for upcoming maintenance on our vehicles.

Cons

We're still waiting on the ability to track trailer mileage when there's no odometer that part hasn't been added yet.

MIR working great at GLS

Pros

We love how it integrates with Geotab and RDS. Getting rid of the paper RDS was a big plus for us. It saved a ton of time.

Cons

I'd like to be able to work on work orders in more detail directly from the planning tab. That part feels a bit limited.

Solid integration all around

Pros

It works really well on its own but also connects nicely with other DataDis tools like MIR-Note and MIR-Check. That's been super helpful.

Cons
