“Fast route configuration for delivery drivers”
Pros
Coming from the technical side, getting routes configured for our delivery drivers was really easy. It helps them out by calculating the most efficient path across a large batch of stops.
Cons
I haven't run into any problems with it.

“mapping and directions made simple”
Pros
Having a tool like this has saved us a huge amount of time when it comes to mapping, step-by-step driving directions and route planning for our organization. I've used it multiple times over the last few years and it has consistently been very valuable. Adding the stops we needed was especially simple because the built-in maps made it clear which areas each group would be covering so we could plan extra stops in a practical and effective way.
Cons
You do need a basic understanding of Excel in order to prepare the files for uploading.

“hours saved on school routes”
Pros
During a school fundraiser, we used to map out all of our delivery routes by hand. Switching to MyRouteOnline ended up saving us countless hours. We just uploaded our spreadsheet with the addresses, selected how many driving routes we needed and the software handled the rest.
Cons
I really don't have any complaints. In a school environment, we only need routing a handful of times each year. If it could grade papers too, then it would really be something :-)

“quick excel import”
Pros
Transferring data in from Excel is very quick which makes the software pleasant to use. I also appreciate being able to save my work and come back to it later. There's good flexibility in how orders can be created too whether that's by setting the number of routes or adjusting based on vehicle size. Also having the option to manually modify a route is really helpful.
Cons
The Excel import process when using the same file more than once needs improvement. It would be much better if the system could remember which columns to ignore instead of making me manually deselect them every single time.

“immediate setup and accessible routing”
Pros
We needed a routing tool for a seasonal project that was simple to use and easy for everyone to access. After trying several options online it was this program that turned out to be the best fit because we could pick it up and start using it right away without much setup. Uploading routes was simple to manage too.
Cons
Only part that felt a little awkward was organizing routes in the iPhone app. I also ran into the issue of having to sign back in to reload routes if the app sat idle for too long. It would be helpful to stay signed in longer or at least have a quicker way to reload routes after closing the app instead of entering an email address every time. That said it's possible I missed a feature since I didn't spend much time digging into that area.

“smart travel optimization”
Pros
To me everything feels well designed in this program. It does a good job of optimizing travel plans as well.
Cons
Since there are so many free alternatives available it's tough to justify paying extra just to save a bit of time.

“Easy volunteer routing”
Pros
Establishing routes and sending them out to volunteers is very easy for me. Most of them used the mobile app for navigation and it was really simple to follow.
Cons
The export file options are a bit limited when it comes to flexibility. It would be helpful to have more control over the layout so it works better for printing or is easier to read on a device. Another thing that would make it even better is if the app showed both the stop number and the street address in the quick view so there'd be no need to open Google Maps or Waze just to check the address.

“Cuts route planning time significantly”
Pros
Setting routes set up was pretty easy. It saved me a lot of time compared with trying to map everything out on my own. Customer support was also fast and responsive whenever I needed help.
Cons
This tool seems to be geared mostly toward people who do deliveries professionally. I only needed it to organize a couple of 2 day trips to visit different organizations so I had to adjust my plans a bit to make it fit what I needed. Even with that it was still far better than handling all of it myself.

“Generous free tier”
Pros
A big plus is how much I can do without paying. It includes a lot of useful features in the free version and most people probably won't ever need to upgrade.
Cons
I have to rely on their app while traveling, I can't simply export the route it creates and use it in Google Maps or another navigation app.

“Optimizes by time, distance or priority”
Pros
Putting routes together with this is pretty simple and it does a really good job of that overall. I also like that it lets me optimize based on different priorities whether that's time, distance or something else.

Any issues that came up have been minor and easy to fix with a bit of training.

“unusable mobile app”
Pros
Having all those extra settings available when calculating routes really helps with getting mileage and time estimates that feel very precise.
Cons
The mobile app didn't perform very well and sometimes directed us to the wrong address, occasionally off by just one house. I'm still not sure what caused that.

Pros
Routing my store orders is simple and uploading them is pretty simple too. I also like that whenever I have a question for customer service they're always quick to respond and help out.

“Bulk imports with responsive phone support”
Pros
For me the biggest advantage is how simple it is to enter and import large amounts of data at once. I also really value that it saves older routes that I assume I won't need anymore but then end up coming back to. Anytime I've reached out because I was stuck their team responded very quickly and showed me simple ways to handle my problems. On one occasion they even walked me through it over the phone and then followed up with a short video by email. In both cases they pointed out features I didn't even realize were built in and those have made this part of my job much more manageable.
Cons
Only issues I ran into were cases where I didn't realize the software already had a way to handle them.

“powerful routing and usability”
Pros
I really like that it offers a lot of powerful functionality while still remaining clear and simple.
Cons
To be honest the program balances power and simplicity well for most users but the advanced options can feel a little overwhelming to me sometimes. A toggle to hide advanced features would preserve both power and simplicity.

“multi-route editing needs improvement”
Pros
Planning long, full-day itineraries is one of the biggest strengths here and the accuracy has been very dependable. The added options for load limits and lunch breaks have been a really helpful improvement and being able to adjust the schedule as things keep changing has worked out very well for us. The routing itself has consistently produced reliable results and the scheduling flexibility has been a major asset for our operation.
Cons
When I have to manage multiple runs in the same day I face a challenge. I usually export a finished route into Excel and then set it up to add around 5 hours for the afternoon run so the timing works out. It would really help if each planned route had its own adjustable start time built in. There are also times when I'm planning 2 or 3 days at once under the same account. In those cases, being able to manually change route colors or even better hide and show specific routes on the map, would make things much easier to manage. I also get a little uneasy when editing routes because I'm concerned the system might crash. For example when changing a route's start or end address I've had an issue where deleting the starting address from one route caused that address to disappear from the beginning of all my routes. While the routing accuracy is strong overall the editing and multi-route management experience still needs refinement to feel fully reliable.

“Clear optimized routes with reliable exports”
Pros
After getting used to how it works, the platform becomes fairly easy to use. It creates a clear route that seems to be well optimized and both the export feature and email output perform reliably.
Cons
In my opinion it would be better if there was an option to add individual addresses after completing a bulk import. It also needs a way to edit addresses and have those changes reflected on the map right away.

“routing that really delivers”
Pros
It does exactly what it's supposed to do when it comes to routing.
Cons
Something I'd love to see is a Quickbooks online integration so I wouldn't have to keep a separate route database. Right now whenever I add a new customer I have to enter them both in QB and again in the routing software.

“fixed start and end points missing”
Pros
Uploading addresses from a file saves a lot of time especially when I'm dealing with repeat customers. I'm glad I don't have to type the same addresses over and over again.
Cons
An option to set an address as a permanent start or end point is missing as of now. Even though moving stops up and down the list is simple enough changing the order of another stop later can sometimes cause the program to shift that address again unexpectedly. It usually works out in the end but it can turn a quick reordering into having to adjust the list 4 or 5 times instead of only once or twice.
