Pros
The best part for me is the easy access throughout the app and the seamless transfer of money from my employer to my account.
Cons
It would be easier if I could communicate with my employers within the app.

“Desktop software is adequate MOBILE APP is NOT!!!
Pros
The feature I appreciate most is how I can use this software to help schedule my hours each week. It makes it easy to count and adjust my hours in advance, as I consider different scenarios to ensure I get the total hours I need or want on my time card.
Cons
One reason I rated it lower is the process to account for my 30-minute lunch break each workday. To do this, I have to add a second row and split the shift into two parts with at least a half-hour gap. It might not seem like much, but if you're trying to calculate hours precisely (or struggle with procrastination), this extra step can be frustrating! Especially if the software, internet, or computer you're using is slow. The mobile app is extremely frustrating because it's just a view-only version of what you submitted on the desktop. The only version that worked for me was the desktop site on an actual computer. Using it on my phone's web browser is maddening.

The dashboard features large icons for main sections, each containing subsections. It could be more efficient if these main icons also included some main subsections, reducing the time needed to access them.

Pros
I love that I can access all my payroll files, direct deposit info, and pay stubs in one place. It is very easy to navigate. I highly recommend ADP Workforce Now to anyone who wants convenient access to their payment information.
Cons
The login process could be more modern, but it's still quite good. Perhaps some color changes could enhance it a bit.

“Reliable payroll and cooperative support but clunky QuickBooks sync
Pros
I can handle all the essential transactions I need like payroll processing, QuickBooks Online journals, tax deposits and tax reporting. Their team has been outstanding with quick responses, plenty of patience while I learned the system and they're always there when I need background support.
Cons
While the integration works well overall, I wish there was a dedicated payroll journal instead of everything going through General Journal entries. It gets a bit messy having OnPay's entries mixed in with all the other QuickBooks transactions even though the system itself is pretty simple to follow.

“easy payroll, inconvenient security steps
Pros
Getting everything set up was easy and now running payroll is super simple. All the basic info gets saved so unless something changes, it's just a few clicks and I'm done. I ran a business for 15 years before this and payroll was always such a headache, really wish I'd found this sooner! When I need to do something more complicated, there are tons of helpful articles and guides that walk you through the trickier stuff.
Cons
some tasks require calling customer support instead of handling them directly online which can be inconvenient. When I needed to change our payroll bank account, I had to call first before they'd send me the link to make the change myself while most other banking services let you do this without the extra step. I understand it's probably for security reasons but it slows things down.

Really appreciate how accessible their customer service is. Whenever I call with a quick question, there's always a live rep who's both professional and knows their stuff. Processing payroll requests feels effortless and direct deposits come through quickly. We recently had an employee enter the wrong bank account number but the team fixed it and reissued the funds within 24 hours. I'm genuinely impressed and would definitely recommend this to other business owners. Solid company overall!
