It is a great solution for tracking, engaging and managing remote employees, making it as simple as managing office-based workers. It's modular, so you're not overwhelmed by too many options. You only get the features you actually need without any unnecessary extras. The platform automates a lot of repetitive HR tasks and employees have secure, instant access to all the info they need through their personal logins.
Cons
It offers about seven different modules, including Core HR, Leave management and Recruitment. It really helps manage everything from onboarding to performance evaluations. Customizable workflows, in-depth reports and a user-friendly dashboard help businesses manage their workforce efficiently while keeping sensitive data secure. However, adding more modules like file management, could benefit certain teams like those working in research or science.

I'd say it works perfectly for our business. It handles annual leave in our company. It's super efficient and now all our staff is on an HR system. Plus, it's free!

Pros
One of the things I appreciate about Sage HR is its excellent HR features, including performance management capabilities. I especially like the time, attendance, and applicant tracking features. Also, the fact that it includes employee scheduling and is mobile-friendly is a big plus.
Cons

The announcement section and company view feature are such great additions. I find it really helpful to see employees by their face and name instead of just a basic list. It adds a personal touch and makes things easier to manage.
Cons
Setting it up correctly was challenging, and the customer service was poor and unhelpful. Since I'm in the U.S. and they are in the U.K., they always seemed unavailable. For instance, when I needed help at 1 PM on a Thursday, I was told they were closed and to expect a response on Monday. There's only a chat bot on the screen; there's no phone number to call. If you do call, you end up being transferred around until you reach someone who says to call another number, leading you to Canada, where they say you've dialed the wrong number.

Pros
The document repository feature makes it easy to share documents with employees, which really helps streamline both communication and document management.
Cons
I believe the workflow and functionality could be enhanced. When trying to filter by location, after updating an employee, I have to return to the main page and reapply the filter for the location. It's not a big deal for one employee, but it becomes time-consuming when updating many. Additionally, Sage HR's workflow is very generic. I can create automated notices and tasks, but can't do much with them except complete them. I have more trust in Outlook tasks because they allow progress updates along the way. You can enter information in notes, but again, it requires several steps when it could be automated.
